The inside hinge is a bit complicated no matter how I tried for the holes that’s there I can’t get the lid to sit flush to the desk when not used it is opened slightly, instructions should show the inside hinge properly

Fixings do not all stay in place and fall out when the desk gets moved. Some holes are not squarely filled which prevents fixings lining up properly, so at times it is not easy assembly.
One of the pre-assembled legs was not properly fixed together. Fortunately with a bit of wood glue and suitable clamp fixed this.
Massive spring thing (pictured) in the centre of the unit, mounted on wooden blocks, means the internal space is severely compromised such that there is not even enough room for a slim A4 pad. To make matters worse, this spring causes the lid to remain open by about 15mm, and snap open! To solve this issue, I have ordered some low pressure cupboard gas struts which take up far less space.
Desk and seat need soft feet.

Looks good but some bits damaged.
Hopefully they will replace parts.Hinges were very tight and when fitted the lid wouldn’t shut. So we abandoned them!

This is lovely little table & stool. Very well made - good design, especially like soft closing desk top. Arrived promptly. Good size for tall 5 yr old Grandson.
I was daunted by number of screws etc for assembly but my daughter managed it in approx 2 hours. All pieces were labelled well & fit together beautifully. Think a few words on instructions might help as not always easy to follow diagrams.

This is a sturdy and beautiful little table, just perfect for my son. Mainly this is a magical table. Since I assembled the table and gave it to my son, my son’s buttocks seemed to be glued to the chair. He kept writing and drawing on this table
