SolidIt certainly does the job. The support running down the middle is just one of the aspects that sets this bed apart from the rest. The little (8) plates on the sides, top and bottom stops the mattress from moving as one turns from side to side. Well thought out and a cut above the rest. I had a lovely sleep last night and would definitely recommend this bed.

Sturdy and easy to set upRobust, easy to assemble - you can feel the strength of the materials. Some parts needed some additional drilling as they seemed to lack some holes - but otherwise fixable.

Great bedJust as described. It took me a couple hours to put them in as the pieces had to be perfectly aligned. But overall, the bed is great and I had no problems sleeping on it.
