I bought this present for my sons birthday so didn’t open till 9thjulyThe holder for kindling was not in the parcel so we were disapointed

Sturdy, but...Assembles easily however it is deeper at 12" than most wood suppliers (who seem to average 8 to 10"). Had to add supporting structure to accommodate this shortcoming. Simple enough to do, but pain in the @ss.

Too wideThis is far too wide for most shop bought logs. I’ve had to buy a set of logs for the base in order to hold the normal sized logs above it. They should have placed a mesh or solid base to the bottom. Also because there isn’t a solid base bits of log will drop on to the surface below making it a pain to keep clean. I would avoid this product and I’m debating sending it back

Good for the priceSo far so good. For the price it is “heavy duty.” Grills well - adjustable charcoal level is great and very handy for different meats. The charcoal opening allows you to adjust the coals easily. Bottle opener works great.
Directions are better than average but close attention needs to be done with the legs. Also, the lid guide metal outcrops need to be treated with care when the grill is upside down for assembly.Posted on
