CASART Wooden Bookcase, Modern Storage Cabinet Cupboard with 3 Tier Open Shelves & 2 DoorBought this to replace a bookshelf my wife said assembly was a bit hit a miss but manage to work it out as the assembly instructions where a bit hit and miss but did finish it off.

Simple design and looks fabulousSimple design but really looks fabulous. Good storage options: three open compartments with two adjustable shelves and two inner shelves with doors. It takes some time to assemble but the instructions are very clear. Despite being tall, it can be assembled by just one person.

Very convenient. Good qualityI bought this cabinet because I feel that it can hold a lot of things. Although it is a bookcase, I think it can be uesed as a normal cabinet. Normally, my son's diapers alway put in the outer box, after I buy this cabinet, I can put all his diapers on the cabinet. The cabinet door underneath can also be used to put his clothes. It feels very convenient. I like this cabinet very much.

As expectedThis was a good value for the price. I probably would not buy it for a lot of books or anything too heavy. But I purchased two for storage for my craft supplies and the lightweight bins I use fit perfectly on the shelves.

Looks and feel amazing for sure.I absolutely love the color and the design. This book shelf got me so excited and I ended up buying 2 to fill up the space I have. The installation was quite long because a lot to follow through and double checking to make sure I was doing it properly. Everything went smooth because I was successfully setting up 2 of them. I gave some tips about how to level and making them sturdy. Hope that will help somebody out if they have uneven floor like mine. The compress wood is sturdy and solid. It will hold up for many years as long as I don’t taking them apart.

Great customer service, great product.We ordered two shelves and upon unboxing we discovered one of the wooden pieces had damage from shipping. We contacted the seller who immediately sent us a replacement part-no problem. They were friendly and fast. The shelves were easy to assemble and look fantastic. I love the magnetic close on the cabinet doors and the trim details throughout. Very pleased with this purchase!

Pretty bookshelf systemI love the color, it is exactly what I wanted. It took me about 3 hours alone to put together. I used my husbands power drill for the screws on the back. That he helped. It is on the cheaper side, as the “locking in screw/bolt” system doesn’t lock in on 2-3 important sections. That’s on the top holding to the bottom section. We have no little kids here to ever worry about , so I just kept going with the assembly. I got what I wanted, to keep stuff away from my dogs.

More people should buy itI'm always anxious about buying furniture because the boards may be damaged, missing etc during delivery and I hate having to return as it's a lot of work.
1. This was well packaged - I bought two so I worried if one of them is damaged or item missing, it would be difficult to get a different one or another set that may not match. It was well packaged with no damage whatsoever.
2. Good quality for price - IKEA ones are more expensive and you pay for delivery. But this one has good quality boards - no cheap feelings at all.
3. Back boards - some come with just nails and pictures where to put nails. This one comes well marked where the nail should go and give us nailscrews instead which is better to manage. The board fits perfectly at the back.
4. Instructions are clear but there are a couple of step where you might put the board upside-down. I realised that later but it was easily fixed.
5. It does take about 3-4 hours to build alone
As usual it is faster to build the second one. All you need is a screw driver.
6. Shelf height is adjustable throughout so it's quite handy.
I think more people should be buying this product. Thank you.Posted on

Took a couple of non-stressful hours to assemble. Price is probably about right given the alround quality-level (you could for example buy cheaper and get instructions you can’t fathom, or missing parts- it’s not all about the end item with flat pack)

It wasn’t easy to assemble but it’s a nice cabinetIt took many hours to put this together. It’s a 2 person job. The instructions weren’t that clear. The bags of screws and parts were marked with numbers which was very helpful. No much for instructions just shows pictures of what goes with what.
Written steps and better pictures would’ve been more helpful. We got there in the end after hours.

Very good quality for the money.Extremely well packaged for delivery. This makes all the difference with flat pack stuff because it avoids most of the issues concerned with damaged surfaces and corners etc. If only other suppliers would do the same it would save everyone so much time and trouble with returns etc. I've been putting this sort of stuff together for well over 40 years now and I was impressed with the overall quality of construction and the fact that some thought has clearly gone into the design of this bookcase. I think it's excellent value for money and trust me: I moan about almost everything

Good, solid unitA good, solid unit. Looks decent and feels as if it will last. Construction isn't at all difficult, but takes a while..... don't expect to get it together in 5 minutes. Its worth the effort though. Overall I'm very happy with the product especially given the price.

looks great in my main roomAssembling flat packs can frequently be a challenge and does require patience.
Over the years I have assembled countless items of furniture and they all seem to utilize lots of cam-bolts, dowels and screws . . . which at least brings familiarity of assembling technique.
A little effort and endurance is well worth the time taken to read and follow the instructions carefully. However, for people not into flat packs, or who lack patience, i would recommend getting someone competent to assist.
Once the item starts taking shape it becomes quite heavy, so people with mobility issues will certainly need help to carefully lift and manoeuvre this large item.
Overall, I would say the completed item looks great in my main room; the shelves are sturdy, as are the lower doors with handy magnetic catch.
