Before attaching the car top carrier to the roof, please put on the anti-slip mat to protect your car. Must buy for camping!Brilliant roof bag, cannot recommend enough!;We use this for camping and have used twice so far and it has been brilliant!;Carries a lot and safe and secure. Comes with an anti slip mat too.;We have a Golf R which has glued on door seals so we couldn’t hook the straps under the seals, so we had to improvise and purchased extra straps so they go all the way through the car. Works great.;I would encourage anyone to buy this :)

HappyUsed on a trip to France. Held up well with speed and no rain was let in when encountered a downpour. Only let down was the straps were hard to tighten and sometimes slipped. Overall happy with purchase

Genius Item!Absolutely brilliant find! Looking to go away camping with a 4 man tent, 3 man tent and everything that goes along with it, together with a powerbank, solar panel, electric cooler and 4 seat camping table..... in a Suzuki Celerio!;After seeing the review from the person with the Fiat Panda, I figured I would give this a go, and so glad I did! We used this for the tents, sleeping bags, table etc. and used the boot space and one of the back seats for the more delicate items and the cooler. Everything went in the carrier and car with plenty of space for 3 of us to travel without being crushed by anything packed.;I was concerned about fixing to the car as we do not have any roof rack / bars (this was the reason for going for this item) but putting the connectors onto the car was a breeze, and the carrier felt very secure once strapped in place.;Absolutely delighted with this. As someone else has pointed out, best not to put anything inside that you would need until your final destination, as unstrapping and unzipping to access, then putting back again will take a while.

Very pleasedUsed it twice now. Great extra storage space for our trips. Has been waterproof and secure. We strap ours to roof bars not doors. Was a bit tricky tightening the straps in the rain as they are a bit slippery but advised since that a thin tent peg through the tightening buckle helps. Very pleased.

Amazing!As a family of 4 loading up the car for trips away can be rather stressful. We debated buying a roof box, but didn’t have rails on the car and couldn’t believe the cost. We came across this and thought we’d give it a go. I’m so glad we did. It’s so good, easy to fit and you can get so much in it. It’s really sturdy, even at speed and with it full of suitcases! We don’t have to worry about whether we can pack everything now and although we’d originally brought it for a camping trip we use it all the time now. This is a completely honest review.

So handy!Ordered this as our car doesn't have the roof racks and it's absolutely brilliant and has made our camping trips alot easier, it Held well through 3 hours of driving in the rain so definitely waterproof, the straps are sturdy and secure, cheap and huge for the price, would definitely recommend!

Excellent alternative to a roof boxWe bought this at Christmas for travelling around to the relatives. We don't have roof bars as its a company car so we thought we'd try this.
It is a bit fiddly to fit but we'll get better with time. We did a 5 hour journey on the motorway and were concerned about it staying on (we couldn't use the front and rear straps) so we bought 2 ratchet straps in addition for peace of mind.
The 2 teenagers had loads more space in the back than usual. It rained heavily on route but everything stayed dry. The fabric feels sturdy too. Bonus, a roof box would have made the cost of the ferry higher, but this was low enough to not need to change our ticket. And we'll be able to use this with any car.
Looking forward to trying this on a camping trip, it will greatly increase the amount of equipment we can bring. Definately recommend.Posted on

Q: Please explain how this fits on roof cross-bars. The bottom of the bag is not rigid, is it? How would this work? Thank you.A: The four straps in the front and back need to be used with the crossbar, without the crossbar can't install these four straps in the front and back, the customer can be anti-slip by laying non-slip mat.

Q: Hello, The rubber does not come off on my door seal, can I still use straps? I don't have a Roof rack eitherA: If you don't have a roof rack, you can put non-slip mats, check and clean the roof to avoid sand and gravel.
