Great wooden food bag!bought my grandson a wooden shopping cart for his 2nd birthday because he loves to go shopping for food. Then I had to find some wooden food to put in the cart. I stumbled across this package on costway and I thought it looked great because it covers the four main food categories and I thought it would be helpful to teach him about each. Each food category is in its own little wooden box and the packaging is beautiful. Great quality, very reasonable price, and fast shipping, it arrived in a few days... great service!

Great toy food, kids love itMy kids had so much fun playing with these food toys and they are definitely an investment that will last them many years. They are very durable, made of solid wood and are the right size. They are much better than the plastic and cardboard that you often see in store/kitchen sets, which only last a few weeks before getting squashed! However, some fruits, like apples and tomatoes, are very hard, which can be a problem if your child is at the throwing stage! These food toys are bright and colorful, and all the pieces we received have retained their original colors. They have a lot of details on them, so the kids can tell what food they are at a glance. The little boxes are also sturdy and make it easy for kids to sort the food. My kids have played with these toys a lot in their play kitchen and often use them to "set up shop". Of all the food toys we have, they are their favorite.

The plastic is harder than I thought it would be.I thought this product would be a softer plastic, but it was hard and brittle. For the price, I couldn't buy many, and I kept the chips and Pringles because of the choking hazard.

Very cute set, although a little sparseThis is a great set of paper cutout toys for all the little ones who love to "imitate mom and dad". A wide variety of plastic fruits and vegetables come in a small basket similar to those in an American supermarket, and all the fruits can be cut, except for the bananas - which you need to peel - which you don't expect. The plastic fruits are brightly coloured, the same size as the basket, and are a perfect size for little hands. There are lots of opportunities to learn the names of the fruits, such as avocado, sweet corn, onion, carrot, tomato, pepper, grape, kiwi, banana, watermelon... I can't remember the others, and these fruits have been left at my nephew's house because he loves this toy so much. I have never pretended to eat so many slices of fake plastic fruit in one afternoon! Each piece of fruit has a beautiful transfer art pattern on the surface, and it seems very sturdy, and it didn't break despite many knocks. I have to admit that I still prefer wooden ones in general, but at least these are easy to clean and much lighter, and can be thrown to siblings without breaking or bruising! As others have mentioned, this set is very small, with only ten fruits in it, as well as a small plate, a very dull plastic knife and a basket. Everything is well made and brightly coloured, but even considering this, the price is a little expensive. It's really cute though.

Any child who loves pretend play or role playing!I bought a food cutting set for my son, who has special needs and loves role play, and this set is amazing! It comes with a variety of brightly colored fruits and vegetables, a shopping basket, a plastic cutting board, and a knife. The pieces are easy for little hands to grab and hold together with Velcro, so he loves "cutting" them apart and sticking them back together. Not only does this set inspire his imagination, it also helps him improve his fine motor skills and coordination. It's durable, safe, and provides hours of fun. Highly recommend for any child who loves role play or pretend play!

Small and expensivebought this for my toddler, she's been into role play lately and thought this would be a nice addition. To be honest, this set is a lot smaller than I expected, but there are quite a few pieces in the basket, a 'knife' for cutting up the fruit (except for the bananas, which need to be peeled), and a very small chopping board, but just the right size for small pieces of fruit. My toddler seemed to enjoy this set and the Velcro wasn't too hard for her to cut. The price is a bit high too, currently £13.98, and I wouldn't recommend it at this price point. Good quality though, just needs some improvements to give it a 10/10 rating.

My two year old son loves these.Colorful, easy to hold in his two year old hands, and so many different kinds. When he plays with the food sets, I give him lots of different spices, and now he can tell me what a lot of things are. He always gets excited to open the box and take them out one by one until he gets bored and makes that noise every parent dreads, and the contents of the box spill all over the floor... :)

AverageI'm surprised these are rated so highly. They were good, but like plastic toy food and were small. The whole pizza was the size of a toy plate. The fries were cool and the nuggets looked like nuggets, but I've had better quality toy food.

Excellent quality – if a little more expensiveYou can get other toy food for cheaper, but this is really good quality and very durable. It's fun to play with (because the kids are always playing "shopping"). There's a lot of selection and the tray that comes with it is so easy to clean up (which I always do because the kids always leave stuff on the floor and ask me to clean it up... just like their dad!). All kidding aside, it was a great deal and the quality was great. We sold it when the kids outgrew it, so we made some money afterwards. Great shopping experience and product!

All products cannot be combined correctlyAs others have said, there was a good variety of products. I was a little disappointed though as I thought the burgers would fit together but I didn't so everything slid around. Also the sausage rolls didn't fit and the ice cream cones tended to fall out.

Great fast food fun setordered this for my two youngest children to have in their play kitchen. It's a lovely set of food and accessories. The set comes with a large pizza (which breaks into 6 pieces), a hot dog, a round burger, a submarine sandwich, a tart, corn on the cob, french fries, chicken drumsticks, waffles, ketchup, cups, cutlery and a tray to hold everything. It's all plastic but well made and feels sturdy. It's brightly coloured and looks really bright. I love the fact that you can serve the pizza slices and the burgers and subs come apart so you can pretend to order and add toppings etc. It's great for encouraging cooperative play and sharing, and if you put some play money in it, it's a great way to teach simple maths and basic financial concepts like saving, spending and making change. The kids can count, add and even budget as they practice ordering, which is a fun and hands-on way that feels more like a game than a lesson, and it all happens in an engaging and restaurant themed way. Overall, although it feels a little plasticky, it's a nice toy and my kids really enjoyed it. At £9.99 at the time of review, it's excellent value for money. Recommended.

Good choiceThis bag has a lot of different foods in it. My little boy loved playing with it in the kitchen. The quality is OK, but it would be better if the plastic was a little softer. He got his cake stuck in the cup and broke it trying to get it out. If the plastic was a little softer, it would leave a dent instead of a hole when you take it out. Overall, we like it.

Sturdy and good value toy foodI ordered these for my two daughters (2 and 1) to play with in their new kitchen from Santa. They come in a hard plastic shopping bag for easy carrying. The fruits/veggies/meats etc look very realistic and the plastic is sturdy and durable. The girls enjoyed cutting them with the plastic knife and then sticking them back together with the velcro. Very happy with them. Highly recommend!

Hours of funGreat product. There is a great variety of food in there to talk to the kids about. Well made and fun to play with. The bag is cute but my kids like to stuff teddy bears and toys in there instead of food so I would recommend getting a small plastic box. I would buy again if I have to.
