Portable Steam Sauna for Home with 3L Steam Generator

I usually dont leave long reviews but this steam / sauna was a good buy & I would have liked to have read something a little more in depth while I was looking for one, would have saved me time.;I spent about 2 weeks looking/researching for one of these portable Steam/Sauna baths & picked this one due to them saying how hot it gets. People complained about the other Saunsas chairs not being good, steam not that hot and the last thing I wanted to do was order the thing, put it up and only to have to box it back up and send it back to the seller.;So I watched a few tutorials online of other products and read quite a few reviews, hardly worth my time or money;but I hate sending back these packages especially when they are so large.;It does get very hot but you can make it hotter with a few adjustments. I have not measured it in terms of degrees using a thermometer (I will do so in the week) - my barometer is;1. Does it totally relax me;2. Do I have to leave the room due to it being too hot - and yes to both of those but remember, with heat you will get used heat and it may in time not feel as hot as your body adjusts to it.;Few tips to feel warmer/ hotter in the tent;I place it in the garden & have it on a large 1x1 meter mat. Its against a back wall. If you can manage to put it outside;out of any major wind or where there is a wind break, it will get hotter.;When it is not windy and mild outside it will be hotter and get hotter for obvious reasons.;When it is windy and cold outside, if you angle the chair that it comes with and put it in the corner where;the steam comes out of, position the steamer between the backside of the chair, you will feel 15-20 degrees;warmer as the steam comes up your back, and if you lean back with your head it will heat up your body a lot faster, with the back, neck and head getting the steam it heats your entire body up so much faster.;I sat like this for 30 mins & could not sit in it for longer but everyone will be different and have diff temperature tolerances. I would not sit in the Steamer during the winter months while it is heating up, have the steamer on for 20 mins before getting into it and I only put warm water in it to - so heat it up for 20 mins before getting in and use warm water and then I would position the chair in the right place (as mentioned below) for the first 10 mins when I get in.;To get the tent warmer, position the chair in the right place;Position the chair between the two corners, position the steamer between the chair legs & when you sit in the chair, the steam will come heat your lower back all the way up to your head. I thought it would burn me but it was quite fine if you position the steamer properly and if you position the steamer while its on, dont use your hands, I use the yoga blacks in the tent to do do - you can use a plastic spatula or tool to do that, its very simple.;The chair should be positioned where the corners meet & where it makes a V shape - if the steamer is positioned in the right spot between the back chair legs, you will notice a real difference in heat. I use a yoga black thats about 2 inches thick and 12 inches wide as a head rest positioning it between the angles of the tent when doing this.;Put warm water in the steamer to get it hot faster & wait 20 mins for the steam to fill the room. If it warm outside, I dont mind actually sitting in the steamer as its warming up.; Also run the steamer for an hour with water first without actually sitting in the sauna/steamer, I found that it had a newish/plastic smell - nothing to be worried about but I would have done this or wash out the steamer with hot water first.; When filling the steamer, fill it up to about 85%, as the water level drops to about the 50% mark the steam is hotter but if you fill it up to 100% of the device becarful, the water will come out of it, so only fill it to max 90% for safety;In terms of heat, the 1st time I used it (Was a mild day in the UK - about 15-16 degrees) it was very hot, comparable to a gym I used to go to & if on a mildish day you sit with it under the chair as mentioned above, it will be very, very hot.;I find that when I fill the steamer up to the brim, when the steam comes out it is not as hot as when the water level is lower. If you fill it up to about 85% you can sit in the steam / sauna for about 90 minutes before you need to add more water and if you fill it to the brim, I think you could easily get to 2 hrs - the remote will come in handy at this point as I noticed mine switched off and the remote would have been great without the need to get out.;There is a fog light, if you put the fog light on you can see it light up when using it outside or in a dark room which is handy.;If you have it in a garage or in your house in some room, it will get hot. I am looking forward to a hot summers day;with the sun on and steamer going full blast - looking forward to that.;Its very relaxing. Sleep it better, lowers stress. .;It does get hot, I would put it up there with a commercial gym. I used to go to a gym that had a steam bath and it was the main reason for going to that gym. When they got rid of their steam bath I didnt bother renewing my contract. I would not go to a gym without a steam bath, its one of the best things about a gym but these portable ones change everything.;Sitting in it for 40-60 mins after its already been heated up for 20 mins is very relaxing. I wish I had bought one years ago. It feels like you have been on holiday when you feel the heat on and in you.;A lot of people complained about the chair with the other Sauna/Steam baths. I find it quite fine. I suggest if you use it, buy a pair of flip flops to wear as the floor will be colder as the steam hits the floor. You can use 2 small yoga blocks for each foot also. I always have used flip flops in Saunas/steam rooms at the gym so it was normal for me.;You can also put essential oils in the steam contraption where the steam comes out of in the actual steam tent - do so before putting it on and dont touch the steam contraption when on, it gets very hot. Its very easy, put some on a cotton pad and it works, will try herbs later but the oils seem fine.;I would have given it 5* review but;1. The remote didnt come with the battery. I still dont use the remote but it would have been nice, you can look up - LiCB CR2032 Battery 3V Lithium 5PCS on Amazon - I bought 4 of them for under £5, I dont think you need the remote at all, once the steamer is on, you can sit in it for 90 minutes before it goes off.;I was a steam room junkie at the gym I used to go to and would make it very, very hot and in this steamer, on a cold/windy day I usually use it for 60 mins and on warmer days for only 40 mins.;2. The position of the steamer on the outside/going on the inside (the actual outside pipe attached to the steam device that goes into the tent and where the steamer on the inside connects). Its not a deal breaker but its positioned on the back and if its on the back, you cant lean against a wall, you have to move or shift the tent around. Its really not a big deal;I would have liked (perhaps in the future) they will make them with...;The ability to add additional steamers - I mean, it would be nice to be able to plug in another steamer into the tent;if need be without having to somehow make your own holes. Again, you could do it if you wanted to but;the option would have been nice - All tents lack this feature, just something I was thinking about while in the steam tent.;I hope in the future they come up with stronger steamers and also perhaps something similar for a sauna compatible where dry heat gets blasted into a tent.;For cold countries, the UK especially I think its something everyone should have.;I dont think you can put a price tag on an item that you can use multiple times and that gives you so much relaxation. People drink wine and buy vapes/smoke and the cost of those things adds up. For a £100 (I got this one on special for £98) there is no comparison. A Gym membership that comes with a steam bath is going to cost you £40-£60 per month and then you have to put up with noisy, stinky, dirty people and breathe in their toxic prana/breath.;No the days of me going to a gym for a sauna are over thank goodness and I hope these products only get better going forward.;Highly recommend it, use the tips above and you can enjoy multiple sessions. I plan on using it 3x per week & look forward to the days when the sun is beating down on it and I have the steam bath running. I am a steam bath junkie, so the heat doesnt bother me, I enjoyed the days at my old gym where I would throw water onto the devide to get it smoking hot to chase the noise makers out of the sauna, I used to get a kick out of getting them hot and bothered.;So its a good overall buy, I would buy it in a heart beat and maybe buy a 2nd one just in case this seller stops selling these.;Good luck, hope this helps.

Great steam tent! Gets up to hot temperatures and easy to assemble and dissemble! Would defo recommend.;Only con is that the pipe fitting is behind the door so can’t push up against a wall.

The product quality is very good, however the only bad thing I would say is, be very careful as the lid does not lock on the water tank, so if a toddler or pet get behind, they could be scolded. Major design flaw but could and should be fixed easily

Purchased this portable steam room , as I couldn't be bothered going the gym everyday, greatly surprised at how effective it was , it's really good value for money, I use it all the time.

This is surprisingly good. My only problem was my own making because I assembled it in an outside room which was only just a bit wider than the sauna. Assembly otherwise was easy although it would have helped having a second person to help me with putting the cover over the frame (and a bigger room!). Important that you order a cr2025 battery at the same time as you order the sauna, this is for the remote which, annoyingly, does not include a battery. The cable to the steam generator could do with being a bit longer, and the tube from that into the pod could be longer, but minor details, this portable steam room is very good, especially at the current price of £114. Just allow more space around it than I did, you need to be-able to get to the back easily to put the water in the steam generator. Three colours to choose from, I chose the coffee which looks good, just like the picture.

I was honestly sceptical, however I am really happy with this product. It gets to the said heats and very easy to assemble. My only complaint is no battery with the remote, bit annoying. Other than that I really do recommend!

I was honestly a bit sceptical about the sauna with it being so cheap. But it’s honestly worth every penny. And the great thing is you can put it anywhere. I have mine in the garage. I heat it up for 15 minutes then jump in. Works exactly as a sauna should. Very pleased
