Heavy Duty DehumidifierHeavy Duty Dehumidifier - I am using this to keep a shop (900 sq ft) dry and it works well. The ceilings are 20 ft and I was concerned that it didn't have the capacity, but I was wrong. This has kept the shop (metal building) dry with no inside condensation. It is large enough to not run constantly and is right sized for the area. Been working perfectly.

Solid, Sturdy, Capable. It's a Great Solution for Long-term Moisture Removal.We are happy with Costway 250 Pints Commercial Dehumidifier. Our basement is approximately 1500 sq ft and was finished by the previous owner - there was a dehumidifier by Quality 1st that worked until it didn't. Since then we had gone from machine to machine and none would dehumidify fast enough or last long enough. When we finally got this one, we were so excited - finally a machine powerful enough while affordable. Even though at 250 pints it's considered oversized for our basement, in reality, it effortlessly reached the target RH% level and was mostly on stand-by mode. So, we're saving more on power costs. Although heavy, the unit comes with four sets of wheels, so as long as you can lift it down to the basement with your spouse, you're good to go the rest of the way.

Great Dehumidifier for large spaceExtremely impressed with this unit. First off it was well packaged for delivery. It appears to be well built. I recieved unit and unpacked it and allowed to sit 24 hours per the instructions. Turn the unit on in the automatic mode (turns on and off when desired humidity level is achieved). The humidity in my 2500sqft crawlspace was 80%. I set my desired level at 60% which was achieved within 12 hours. This unit is on casters so it can easily be moved. The unit is very quiet when running.Extremely happy with my purchase.

Hoping for the Best Looking Good So FarI have only had this dehumidifier for a couple weeks now. Everything seems to be running fine, its doing what its supposed to do. Runs relatively quiet, no strange noises from the fan. I have been keeping my basement at 48% and its been keeping up with no problems. Pump works as stated, no issues with moving water to a floor drain. I am only giving it 4-stars for now, I will revisit this review after 6mnths.

Top class dehumidifierI purchased this to dehumidify a photographic studio space in my basement. Many other dehumidifiers that I have tried are poorly built and do not last long. In contrast, the Costway unit is very well constructed and heavy duty. I recommend this unit for applications where you need an efficient and reliable environmental control solution.

Powerful dehumidification function, but the operating cost is not lowIt runs quietly and dehumidifies quickly, but seems expensive to run. I calculated the running cost by looking at the meter and it was £0.30 per hour.

Excellent multi-purpose device.Fast delivery and easy installation, but the wire only runs from the plug inside the bedroom to the outside door. Lay clothes on the rails and drying rack in the upstairs hall to dry overnight or until lunchtime the next day. No odor. Not quiet, can hear the wind blowing, but not unpleasant. When the bedding, towels and clothes are dried overnight, the tank is full by morning. Turning clothes is better. Laying towels on the rails to dry the body after a shower is a great way to use it longer. Filling the tank halfway every day when there is no clothes drying keeps my house from being damp. Very addictive device to see so much water in the tank. Clears condensation in the bathroom. Feels like the air in the house is drier, but can't explain why. Just feels good. Enough to manage 3 beds and bathroom upstairs and toilet. 12 liter tank. Very good purchase, highly recommended.

ExcellentBought from costway warehouse. Box was as described, slightly damaged, but brand new inside. Great value for money. Easy to use. Heavy, but on wheels, might need to be lifted to move on hard floors, carpets. In a confined space, it generates a small amount of heat, warming up the room. Not too noisy, I didn't leave it on overnight in my bedroom, but it was fine to leave it on while watching TV. Night mode is much quieter, though. Great performance. Caught in a torrential downpour: jeans, sneakers, jumper all soaked. Probably 7pm. Tossed everything in the bathroom, turned on continuous mode, and it was completely dry the next morning. Honestly, you'd be surprised at how much water it removes!

very good.This has completely changed the way I dry my clothes and I wish I had bought one years ago. Not only does it speed up drying, it also stops the house filling up with condensation. It's small, fits in a corner, isn't noisy and costs little to run.

Moisture control.Excellent humidity control, we set it to 55 for consistent draining, full of features, easy to use, comes with ready to install plumbing to drain directly into a large container, unit is placed high to facilitate gravity draining, planning on getting another one to put upstairs in the winter.

Excellent!This dehumidifier is easy to use and is a great addition to the washing and drying cycles. When used, it significantly reduces condensation in the room and most importantly, it helps with the drying of washed clothes. I don't have a way to hang my clothes outdoors, so I have always put my clothes on hangers or in the dryer. My dryer is too expensive to use often, so I bought this dehumidifier to help with drying clothes. In my house, clothes on the clothes hanger usually take several days to dry. But when I use this dehumidifier, it can dry clothes in 24 hours. Sometimes it can dry clothes overnight. It is always amazing how efficient it is and how well it collects moisture. To be clear, the clothes are still on the hangers, but I will turn on the dehumidifier in the room where the clothes are, close the doors and windows of the room, and leave the dehumidifier on all the time. This dehumidifier is cheap to run. I hope to buy another one in the future and put it in the upstairs bedroom while I use another dehumidifier to dry clothes.

Compact and effective as long as the space is not too largeBought this to dehumidify a room where I hang clothes, as it's more energy efficient than a lot of other options (it's smaller after all). Works pretty well, the wash mode runs at full speed, and the normal mode uses about half the power. It helps prevent the air from being saturated, which can dry out clothes. It's also fairly quiet to use. The container is a little small, but that's not a big deal, it just needs to be emptied more often. There's a lid on the bin to minimize spilling when you remove it, but it still leaks a little sometimes. To be honest, it's hard to get 2 liters of water out of any device without it shaking, so I don't think it's a big deal. It's never leaked on its own.

Compact, quiet, powerfulThis dehumidifier is great value for money. The compact size is a big plus - not only does it fit easily into any room, it's also easy to put away when not in use. In normal mode, it runs quietly, which is great for everyday use, but it can get a little noisy in laundry mode. Even so, I was able to use it in the same room without too much disruption. The package comes with three items: the dehumidifier, instructions, and a hose for continuous draining, which is handy if you don't want to empty the tank manually. The app control works well and is simple to use. Pairing the device to the app is easy - you just hold the timer button for 3 seconds to enable pairing mode. Performance-wise, I found it particularly useful in laundry mode. Running for 9 hours, it dried a full load of laundry that would normally take nearly 36 hours to air dry, and often leaves a damp smell behind. With the dehumidifier, the clothes dried much quicker and smelled fresher. In terms of energy usage, I monitored the costs and found that on my current electricity rate, it averaged out to about 5p per hour, which I think is a fair price considering the convenience it provides. Overall, this is a useful and efficient device. It may not be a groundbreaking innovation, but it does a great job and makes drying clothes and controlling indoor humidity much easier.

Highly recommend this product, it's greatGreat product, I used to have a dehumidifier that was big, noisy and hard to move around, but this one is small, quiet, easy to use and much more efficient. I was really surprised at how much moisture it pulled out of the air. The water tank is 2 liters, which is not big, but it is easy to pour, I got into the habit of pouring it once a day and it really is not a problem. The price is great, and even better, it was on sale when I bought it, so it was even cheaper. If you are looking for a small portable dehumidifier, get this one. It is easy to use, has a child lock to prevent children from pressing the buttons, and a night mode that makes it run quieter if you need to run it late at night. The power cord is also very good and long. And it has wheels to push around

Very good, solid dehumidifierLooks good (1 week of use.) Relatively quiet (but I personally couldn't sleep with it on) but would be fine to use on a landing area outside the bedroom. Very sturdy unit...but easy to move around on wheels...not too heavy. The plug on the unit is adequate but not very long. I have the black unit and it looks stylish. Has all the controls needed (touch controls) Very user friendly. Works well so far...does the job I wanted it to do..so far preventing condensation from forming on the windows in a room prone to condensation...(average small size bedroom). The unit itself is about knee high (I'm 5:4) The water collection unit is large enough to collect water well. I would recommend using a handful of kitchen paper or similar when pulling out to empty the water tray to catch the drips from the top right after pulling out the water collection drawer. Don't leave the water collection drawer on the floor, it can easily tip over...So far I am very happy with this dehumidifier...(I recently returned a cheap £70 dehumidifier I received from somewhere else...it was useless.) Better to buy something that actually works...(I found it) I recommend this dehumidifier.

Excellent dehumidifierThis is the third dehumidifier I've bought. The first two didn't work very well. This one is awesome. It's not quiet, but it's not too loud either - although I wouldn't want it on when I sleep. But it does remove the humidity. Definitely recommend!

The effect is significant, but it doesn’t look prettyI've been using these dehumidifiers for over a year now, trying to solve a condensation problem in my sunroom, and they've helped a lot but haven't completely solved the problem. I now have them in each bedroom. Pros: * Effective: Successfully combats condensation and moisture. * Visible results: You can see the water collecting, proving they're working. * Long-lasting: A pack of 10 provides months of good coverage. Cons: * Unattractive: Not the most visually appealing. * Annoying stickers: The logo stickers are difficult to remove. * Requires monitoring: Requires regular inspection and replacement. If you're looking for a replacement, you might consider a dehumidifier with a more aesthetically pleasing design, or one that's reusable with an emptyable collection bin. Some options even come with an indicator that shows when they're full. Ultimately, whether these are right for you depends on your priorities. If effectiveness outweighs the aesthetics and the slight inconvenience of replacement, then they seem like a decent solution.

Excellent machineIf you have a damp house or condensation problem, this is the perfect product to help. Not noisy at all (there is a sleep mode but we never use it) and the dry air really does reduce heating costs significantly. Bought this for my dry cleaning. In the winter and fall, it usually takes 2-3 days to dry a load of laundry on an electric drying rack. With this, it's down to 5-8 hours. It's very efficient and compact so it doesn't take up any space at all. Highly recommended

I was impressedwanted to try it out before leaving a review. So far I'm impressed. I live in a 3 bedroom terraced house and the humidity seems to love it, you can feel the moisture in the air even with the windows open. This dehumidifier is expensive but works amazingly well. I was shocked at how much moisture it collects. My son always wakes up with a sniffle and since using it for a few hours at night his stuffy nose is gone when he wakes up. The air is warmer too. It's a little noisy but it's like white noise to us now. I removed the tank cap when I noticed there was standing water and it worked great. I didn't use the hose because I empty it daily. I also didn't notice much of a change in my bill. As for clothes drying I put it under a freshly washed coat and it was dry in a little over half an hour, not on laundry mode though. It's a little heavy but it has wheels.

Good choiceThere are a number of these dehumidifiers on the market and I spent a few weeks looking at which one would suit our needs best, with a price tag of around £150, you can always be a bit adventurous with reviews on performance and accuracy but I am pleased to say that this machine has performed beyond my expectations, I bought it to help dry out my garage and although the new house is quite damp, all I can say is that it works like a sponge and filled up the tank in 12 hours, the running costs are negligible, it is very quiet when running, the compressor is barely audible, the fan has two speeds so it isn't too noisy, and on low speed I can leave it in the bedroom on those damp nights, this model has castors for easy movement, as well as a handle, the display is clear and easy to use, in my opinion anyone who buys this dehumidifier will not be disappointed
