The canopy is crafted with anti-aging thick 7-layer PE thatch and waterproof polyester cloth, ensuring durability and protection from sun and water damage (It is recommended to fold the umbrella in harsh weather conditions). More than that, the umbrella can be tilted up to 30° from any direction, perfect for adapting to the sun’s position throughout the day. Supported by a heavy-duty metal pole, secured by a safety latch, our tiki umbrella ensures stability even in breezy conditions (It is recommended to add a weighted base for fixation, not included). Excellent qualityThis umbrella is perfect, very sturdy and well made for a good price, it was very easy to put together, sadly one of the screws that holds the base to the deck was missing, I contacted the seller and they were fantastic and responded straight away and sent me a whole pack of replacement screws and the tool to tighten them

Clearer information on which mount to purchase for this itemThe umbrella arrived shortly after I ordered it. It was fairly simple to set up. However, it is so high that for someone shorter like me, a ladder is needed to get the umbrella up. I recommend two people to set it up. The instructions say "one person and a spanner". The instructions say no base is provided, but it doesn't recommend the several bases provided in the pictures. I chose the right one, which was more luck than judgement, it is very sturdy and holds up well even in strong winds! It has a lot of angles to adjust, but lacks an adjustment to put the umbrella down after it is fully opened. I found the height to be just enough to let the sun shine under the umbrella, and the heavy weight makes it difficult to move around the garden once it is in place. Overall, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Providing privacy and shade!bought this last summer for shade and privacy (I live in a semi-detached house). It works flawlessly. It has no base weights so is naturally unstable. It can sway in the wind but as long as the base weights are stable, it's fine. I recommend it.

Affordable and good quality parasolsThis parasol works really well with weights to keep it in the ground. It also works well even in a light breeze. The cover is over 12 months old and provides good protection for the parasol.

Easy to assemble and effectiveAssembly was very simple. The base weight is not included so that needs to be purchased separately. Although we already secured it with screws ourselves. Not recommended for use in windy weather as it will wobble but definitely good for sun protection and looks great too.

Needs weight and a better locking handleIt was easy to put together, adding weighted sand bags didn't do much, so putting some large paving stones down seemed to fix it, but the locking handle doesn't lock so if it gets caught in the wind it will blow away.

High-quality parasolsA lot of people are looking for a smaller parasol that can cover a few chairs and a bistro table, but many feel that they are too big or look like beach umbrellas. This one is the perfect size. It snaps together easily, much better than my previous parasol that needed to be screwed together. The material of the parasol is also very good.

Good quality merchandise.Everything works well and the mechanical parts all seem solid and functional. It's lightweight at 3.5kg, which makes me a little worried if it's too light, given the thickness of the aluminum. Hopefully it can withstand a bit of wind.

Solar panelsHigh quality parasol, very simple to assemble except for the solar panel on the top. Took me over an hour to figure out the instructions, just flip the umbrella slightly so the solar light goes in. The instructions could be a little clearer. Once assembled it looks beautiful.

Great price and great parasol. Make sure the base is solidA beautiful garden parasol. Great quality, easy to use and great price. What a bargain! It does get a bit messy in a bit of wind but that's normal with this type of parasol. We screwed it to the patio and put a plant pot in it to make it look nice.

Provides good shading effectIt was fairly easy for two of us to put together, the quality seems good, it's large and provides good shade. As with other reviews it does sway in the wind but as it's cantilevered that's to be expected, it doesn't feel too stable though. It's a bit high when folded up though and we needed to climb some stairs to put it up. We may need to find a way to put it up without the stairs.

Excellent garden parasolI've had this parasol for about 10 days now and use it every day in my back garden. We're having a bit of a hot spell in the UK right now and this parasol allows me to sit outside comfortably out of the direct sun. I'm not great at putting things together and have limited mobility but with 'help' from my wife we had this parasol put together in about 40 minutes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and it was easy to put together without any extra tools or equipment. The parasol is about 9 feet tall (I'm 6'3" and can stand under it without having to worry about hitting my head on the top). The diameter of the parasol is quite large (about 9 feet wide) so you need to leave plenty of room when it's open (i.e. don't put it too close to your home). The base is very stable and there's very little sway in the breeze. The crank mechanism is great and it raises and lowers easily in seconds. The canopy is also great when not in use (although if you're tall enough, having the canopy over the top is also useful!). This parasol gives my bark garden some extra enjoyment in the shade outdoors. I love it!

Not as sturdy as one would hopeGood value for money. The material could definitely be thicker. Unfortunately it swayed a lot in the wind. It was a nice sunny day but very windy so it was unusable. We put it in a fairly secluded corner of the garden. We live by the sea though. Otherwise very good. Oh and we didn't use the weights as we had solid weights from somewhere else.

Good quality for the price.It feels and looks nice, although I'm not a big fan of having to put the parasol canvas down in strong winds, and the pole seems to be made of thin aluminum. But we'll see. The pole is 40mm in diameter, so you have to drill holes in the picnic table. I used a 46mm hole saw, so there's enough flexibility to lift the parasol easily. It's top heavy, so if you're short or not very strong, ask for help. There are a few colors to choose from, I chose green.

High-quality productshave always wanted a garden umbrella but never got around to it. Decided to buy it from costway and I am so glad I did. It is a fantastic umbrella and great value for money (compared to what I saw at the garden centre!). Whether it will stand up to summer use in the garden, only time will tell, but I feel very good about it. I am currently waiting for a new base to arrive (again from costway) as the one I had was water and not looking very nice. Regardless, the umbrella keeps the rain off the table and chairs, which is one of the things we expect from these products. A fantastic product. Thank you.

Overall good value for moneybought this to replace one I've had for over 10 years. This one seems to have similar weight and quality. The post is made of powder coated metal. The wind up handle seems sturdy and the tilt button operates well. Everything is very similar to my previous parasol, although I'm not sure if the canopy is of the same quality. The material is a bit thinner from the weave, so not sure if the UV protection is as advertised. That being said, it's not like we're sunbathing on the beach. We're just using it for a barbecue and for shorter periods of time. Also, if I remember correctly, I don't think it's 3 meters in diameter. I'd say 2.1 to 2.2 meters, which is about the same as my previous one. All in all, for the price point, it's probably what I'd expect. It'll stay out for most of the summer, rain or shine, before being put away for the winter. So I think I'll know if it's worth it by around September.

Patio umbrellasFits perfectly on my patio table. Very sturdy and well made. I love that it can be tilted on a well designed hinge so I don't have to carry the whole umbrella around. It doesn't come with a base so I bought a 14 litre plastic base to hold water which fits perfectly. The pole diameter is 20mm so check your base will accommodate it. The umbrella comes with an equally sturdy carrying case which can also be used as a cover when the umbrella is folded up if it's windy or rainy. It was very easy to assemble and the height and angle are easily adjusted for easy sun protection. Excellent value for money.

Mixed feelingsThis parasol has a beautiful colour and is easy to clean. It's simple to set up and quick to put away. My main issue, and the reason I gave it three stars, is that no matter how securely I placed it on the base, it kept swaying when the wind blew. For the price, this parasol is probably decent quality, but given the UK weather, it's not perfect for protection against the elements.

Excellent productam very happy with this garden umbrella. Excellent service and prompt delivery. The umbrella came in a sturdy cardboard packaging and comes in two parts. Easy assembly and ready to use in minutes. It fits the space on my garden table perfectly and I haven't needed to weight the base so far, but I might if it gets windy. The material and overall construction of the umbrella is sturdy and well made. The crank handle makes it easy to raise and lower, which is important for me at 5 feet tall. It provides good shade.
