Good productThis cabinet was easy to put together on my own. Only downfall was the breadboard was broken but with the help of gorilla glue mended it. Won't be using it for cutting food due to the small gap but good for hiding bits under it. Just got to find some bins to put in it for household and recycling rubbish

Good piece after builtThis is a good piece to add to our kitchen/dining area. However, it was overly complex to build and a rather painful process to just get the thing together. Also, as it does not come with bins included, it has been almost impossible to find ones that actually go with this unit. Would be better if they were included in the unit deal.

Easy to put up and usefulFirst time putting up a flatpck and was surprisingly easy considering reviews saying it would be difficult (ended up not following the instructions that straightforward). Had to sand the back of one of the baseboards to fit it but other than that which is minor, easy to put up and very useful

Love it - Some effort & patience required but definitley worth it.Absolutely love this item. We have just moved house and have a long unforgiving kitchen and the only place for the bin was by french doors which was partially blocking the ease of getting out and well it wasn't too pretty either. This cabinet however fits subtly onto a wall fitting in perfectly with the decor and hides the bins discretely - win win. Use one for recycling and one for rubbish.
Was a bit weary after seeing the video where it was hardly stable. You need to make sure you're paying attention. Where the runners are you can affix the screws so that the runner would actually fit over the screwhead if pulled, so you need to make sure you're screwing down the right holes (there's like a set of 3 x 3 holes and only one set of holes is the right one - god knows why the other 2 are there).
Assembly was fine if you like DIY until we got to the last bit of assembling the part where the bins sit in. The base layer slotted into the 3 sides fine but then when afixing the back it just seemed off kilter - didn't seem to fit in and when squaring off of the base it just seemed to be on a bit of a wonk. We were a bit worried that the bin would go through the bottom at one point, but we managed to screw it tight and a couple of taps with the hammer (with a towel underneath to avoid damage) seemed to make it do. It's a good job that bit isn't on display because it would annoy me. The bins fit in without any issue on the base.
Anyhoo, long story short, have some common sense, a decent philips head screwdriver and a tap hammer.
We followed the instructions to the tee - and sometimes it was a little unclear towards the end (i.e. when attaching the hinges onto the bin cupboards for where they pull out- but it turned out fine
I think the hinges are labeled J and K - my husband and I think that they have mislabelled the hinges - so those who are having difficultes with them, try switching them round, that's what we did and they pull out fine. Probably took us about 3-4 hours to assembly with 2.
When it was finishued I stood back and looked at the assembly. It was solid (yay) - no wobbliness but my heart sank a little when I thought the side gaps of where the doors were was a little skewy / uneven. I gave a gentle pull no the door handle to the left to offset said gap-page and it adjusted without breaking anything so all is right with the world.
I absolutely love it. All parts pressent and correct with a couple of spare bits and bobs left over. We were assembling on a tile floor.so had loads of towels down to protect it. A couple of times I caught the odd piece with a tool and was holding my breath thinking I would have marked it. Cheaper versions may have but this was a trooper and wasn't marked. no scuff marks or chips along the way of construction so I do think that goes to the quality of the product - I am the clumsiest person alive so it's passed the test with me ha ha. I grouped the various parts of wood that were together prior to the construction - ad it made it a little easier down the way. This is one of my fave bits of furniture.
THE BINS ARE NOT INCLUDED - DO NOT BE DISAPPOINTED - THIS IS ADVERTISED - We bought 2 x 40 litre bins in B&M - about £7 each. Rectangular (as opposed to square) and they fit perfect.
I don't always review - but given some of the shaky ones (literally) on here - I thought I would let it be known it can be a sturdy success.Posted on

Good cabinet with some buts...Firstly it looks nice and seems quite sturdy. It does take a long time to assemble but it's not too difficult as my 14yr old assembled it for me. It does take about 3 hours to do.
Some provisos to the instructions. Firstly the components aren't too size. The draw rails are bigger than in the diagram. The none roller end should be near the edge. Second the base of the bin sections is too thick for the slot of the back piece. We solved this by sanding down the edge of the base until it slotted in. Finally the hinges for the bin. Make sure the base one matches the diagram. The side ones did seem a bit stiff and we thought knackered. But now think its by design so you have to put some slight effort into along with it not falling open on its own. Once you get used to the opening and shutting it's not an issue.
Finally as they say it doesn't come with bins. We got £7 ones from Dunelm Mill. If you do want to buy some the max dimensions in my opinion is 55x40x28Posted on

Fiddly but okPossibly worse to put together than IKEA but that’s because of all the fittings. It’s ok once fully assembled and you will need to take a bit of care with the two pullout doors by not working them hard or letting the kids rip them open. Once in place a fixed they work great. Side hinges lock open and need a little pressure to close but that’s the way the hinges are designed. I would say put a little wood glue on the parts when assembling if you plan to keep it for a long time

Not very impressedOverall product looks good, however the base of each door cabinet didn’t fit in to the routed groove and the screws supplied for the door hinges and side hinges are too small so they come out every time you open the cabinet - not impressed

PerfectI wasn’t able to put it together but my partner did it in under 3hours, think it could be done in two hours , doesn’t come with the inside so I had to get two 55L bins and get rid of lids, the chopping bored sis a nice touch I wrapped mine to match the kitchen as can’t look after wood to save my life, if you hate the look of your bins it’s worth it

Good unit.DONT ATTACH THE BACK BEFORE FITTING BOTH UNIT DOORS. Great unit really sturdy. Needs 2 people to assemble its bit fiddly attaching parts. Hinges we're a nightmare, only fitted one on each door. Still works ok. I purchased laundry bags which fit perfectly.
