Need to go out to buy hardwareNice porch swing! The only downside is that it doesn't come with all the necessary hanging accessories. You'll need to buy the heavy duty accessories and make sure the chain will fit on it.

RobustnessIt's durable, super comfortable, and the cushions dried quickly after being caught in the rain. Everything is color matched (the pillows don't). The only downside is that the seat itself is much taller than most swings, which might be a problem for shorter people, but not for my family. As for laying the swing flat on the bed, it wouldn't lock because one of the clips was a different size, so we couldn't use the bed.

The porch swing is very sturdy and durable. It's greatThis thing is a great value for the money. Everyone loves it. Even the cat on the back porch sits on it. It was a little hard to put together myself with the pole and drill, but doable for a man. The instructions were easy. Just followed the instructions and it was put together in no time. We love it.

Misleading load capacityThe picture says 750 lb max but the canopy visor says 400 lb. Otherwise I love my swing. The cushions could be better but that's easily fixed.

My whole summer just got better!Perfect!! My pup and I spend every afternoon in this swing. I have a glass of wine while he sleeps in his little bed on the side of the swing and we rock together, listen to the birds chirping and think about dinner!

Good Customer Service RecoveryReceived item with many scratches, exposed wood, and some cracks in the wood. Most of these issues are cosmetic. I didn't want to stuff everything back into the box for a return because that would be too time consuming. The packaging was also large and heavy. I refinished the exposed wood with tung oil to weatherproof it, assembled it, and am now using the swing chair. It still doesn't look right. I like the functionality but am still not happy with the poor quality control. The box and shipping packaging were in mint condition. I think the quality issues were likely present before shipping. I contacted the manufacturer and sent them the costway order information. They told me there was nothing they could do and that I should contact costway. I contacted costway customer service, which is automated and menu driven. I didn't get anywhere this way and don't want to waste any more time on this. To be honest. Poor quality control and post-retail service. Very disappointing. Update 6/18/2025: After some back and forth emails with the manufacturer, they did eventually send a replacement swing chair. I really don't need two, and the original one is already assembled and in use. I plan to sell the new unassembled swing chair to offset part of the original price of the swing chair. Although I would prefer a partial refund for convenience, I am very happy with the results and have updated my rating to 4 stars accordingly. The customer service response was great. Overall, this chair is great looking and fully functional.

Relaxing outdoor sleep swingI have been looking for a sleep swing and this one was the perfect price I could afford. It came in a large box and I assembled it myself very quickly without any problems as the instructions and labels were very clear. I loved it all last season. Not recommended for people taller than 5'10"My wife and I both love it, it's very comfortable, but we are both quite tall so the swing doesn't swing as smoothly back and forth as we would like (maybe it would make a difference if the cushions were a little thicker) but it looks great, very sturdy, was easy to set up, I would recommend it to anyone who isn't a very tall person

The quality of the swing is better than some other swings.I only gave it 4 stars because we just assembled it today so we're not sure how durable it will be. It was relatively easy to assemble. The swing looks sturdy. The fabric is better than some swings I've seen.

Perfect and comfortable behind the kneeExcellent product. Only 50% assembled. I used a Phillips screwdriver as an alignment tool when installing the side chain hooks. Works great. I had to buy two short extension chains (6 more links each) with two small shackles to add to the long chain. Great Mother's Day gift! Thank you

Very strongThis porch swing is so solid! I was surprised at how sturdy it is. It does have some large scratches that were probably from shipping, and the swing's pads are separate so they are not connected or secured. All in all, a great porch swing!

AffordableSo far so good, have ridden out one thunderstorm already and all seems well. We removed the sunshade during the thunderstorm for safety reasons but it proved to be easy to put on and take off. All materials seem good quality and tolerances were good, the only thing that needed adjusting was a small plastic cover that I needed to file down. It was easy to put together with the tools included and the lightweight (but sturdy!) construction, although the pictures on the instructions could be a bit bigger. I love the small ratcheting allen key it comes with, although for anyone wanting to buy it with their own tools, it requires a 4mm allen key and I believe a pair of 11mm and 13mm wrenches? That needs to be confirmed. It holds up for me, partner and our dog with ease and provides comfortable sun protection. Turns out it is a bit darker red than the pictures on the page, but that's a good thing! Overall a solid, good looking thing and great value for money. Recommended.

In a place without shadowshave no complaints, the design is great. Only takes two people to assemble. I have used it for three seasons now, and for windy weather or seasons when it is not being used, I recommend removing and storing the canopy as it can be used as a wind sail. I used the wind hooks to keep it upright and it worked really well. Even when it was swaying in the wind, it was still sturdy and fully functional. After assembly I treated the fabric with a waterproof spray and it worked really well! It still looks great. I love that it turns into a bed and that I can adjust the angle of the sun canopy. You can lock the bench in place or let it swing. Good value for money.

A small question...There was only one minor issue though and that was the handrails didn't line up with the eyebolts correctly so it took a few hits with a hammer to get them into place. One other issue I didn't expect though was the length of the chain. As you can see from the pictures the swing is about 4 feet off the ground and not accessible at all. I ordered 2 foot chain extensions from the same company and they worked great. You'd better check the ceiling height before installing to make sure the chain is long enough. Other than that it's very comfortable and looks well made and even came with a can of touch up paint. It was easy to put together and now we'll see how long it lasts.
