Furniture saver!Bought this for our rescue cat who was using our sofa as a scratch post despite having a scratch post. It was a little tricky to put together as not all of the fixing would tighten up. She absolutely loves this for scratching on and sleeping on. She took a little while to be happy sitting and sleeping on it so we put her favourite blanket on it for a while. We have had it for 9 months now and apart from one area of the scratch post it looks good as new.

Good size for large cat breedsOur 8 month and 5 month old Maine Coon kittens fit in it nicely (one at a time!) and it’ll probably be ok when they’re fully grown too. It’s sturdy but still feels soft and cosy. They love it.

Cat bedSturdy cat bed I've bought two my cats love it and suitable for larger cats my ragdolls have plenty room in this bed and being able to wash the cover is a bonus whish you could buy spare covers for when one is being washed.

Very happyI have a large cat so perfect for him because other beds purchased previously advertised for large cats but we're always too small. He is still getting used to it but I'm confident he will love it.
Easy to assemble but not that comfortable so put extra blanket under the bed.
As mentioned I have a large cat and this is will hold his weight with no problem so don't have to add additional support like I did with other similar products. Very satisfied customer.Posted on

The Best EverOur boy is a year old ,extremely fussy not just food his sleeping place as well ,this is his third bed ,before buying it thinking to myself if he refuses to sleep on it ,I can't even sit on it let alone sleep on it ,so may be after few days I will take it to the recycle,made up mind about how to dispose it even before ordering it,bed delivered ,when my hubby assembled it and we sprinkled some cat nip on it ,bingo he slept through the day and after that he just comes straight after eating, jumps on it, groom himself and off he goes to sleep,sometimes it feels like I am running a bed and breakfast for him but he is happy with the bed ,it is sturdy ,comfy ,looks good ,on top of it all Mr Fussy boy likes it.

ChuffedThis is one of the bigger beds I have seen on a cat scratch post. It's not high off the ground but the size of the soft furry bed makes up for that. Also the scratch post is a large area for two ragdoll brothers to do there thing . Very happy customer, and Purring ragdolls when snuggled in the bed.

A good size bed for big catsI needed a big cat bed for my cat because most cat trees are far too small. This low height cat tree comes in 3 parts, along with screws, an Alan key and instructions. It’s pretty easy to put together but….. it was a bit of a nightmare when it came to fixing the top section because the screw holes were too big for the screws, and so wouldn’t tighten up. Rather than just return it, I used some large raw plugs that I had handy and then I was able to tighten up the screws. I’m not sure if this was a fault in just this particular one, but it was quite annoying because you expect them to fit( hence the 4 star rating) . I like the idea of the block scratch post rather than the pole ones, and my car went straight to it for a good scratch. I love the idea of the removable bed so that it can be washed, but it’s quite a snug fit. I’m not sure it’s worth the almost £40, but all in all, my cat seems to like it so far.

Good for larger cats too.Our cat needed a new scratch post, preferably with a sleep spot. However most had small round sleeping spots on the posts which was no good for our large cat. Then I found this one and she took to it straight away. She loved the space on top and seemed to like the fact it was a rectangle rather than round. She also has a good scratch on the post below. The only negative and I would knock half a star off for, is the fact that the cushion on top whilst plush when new, soon compacts and our cat found it uncomfortable lying on the hard base. We then placed her plush self heating sleeping mat on it and she loves this post once more and is her 'go to' bed.

Superb bed, and very sturdy too.I have a large cat, normally stuff does not fit, but my Humbug sure loves this. I put new and old window bed side by side, and we have a clear new favourite. Just to see her stretch out is a joy to see, she is 14 and I think past curling into a ball. It was easy to put together, (5 mins with tool provided, 4 screws, 4 bolts). I was worried it looked unstable, but feels very solid to me. :) I am happy, Humbug looks happy. Thank you

Easy to assemble following enclosed instructions. Tool to assemble included but found a Philips screwdriver easier then tool.
Cats using scratching post and can’t rip the sisal rope off like other cat trees.
Like that cover comes off to wash.

Big and sturdyI have two cats that like to sit an watch the world. Most of the cat pillers with a perch are so small a cat can only just get on it. This is big. More than enough room for both cats, and probably another one.
Very sturdy, solid strach area. Sags a little at the sides of the bed, but that's probably because that like to hang over the edge.

It's okay for large catRead many reviews before I purchased. It arrived with a little damage. It would be sturdier if the bed board was 1 solid piece. But to ship all pieces in one box the opted to make it a smaller box. So they compromised the sturdiness of the bed. I followed what others did and propped it up from below w a 2x4. Old big kitty needed a low bed to perch on. This did the trick. Won't purchase again unless they fix design.
