Soft wood. Not sure they are going to last.Bought two. Were a bit fiddly to put together. Unfortunately wood doesn’t seem treated so I gave them a coat of teak oil before adding any compost. Also added some black woven membrane to the boxes before filling.

The wood isn't very good regarding damp.Initially no problems, but just a couple of weeks afterwards tge rear of the bottom planter has started warping and coming away from the base. Am dubious about trying to screw it back as it'll probably split. Plus I'll need to remove everything to start with.

Very poor..When we assembled this & painted it to the desired colours,& planting out plants along with the soil, with everything in it, after a couple of days, my husband noticed that the bottom had fallen out of it.. so we unloaded everything to put more screws in it.. after a couple of weeks, again the bottom fell off a 2nd time. This time breaking my plants in there & the vegetables I was growing in there. The wood is very cheap & thin. I reckon it should have more screws than what was supplied. The other thing is, it wasn't cheap neither..

So cute and so easyI was looking for planter to help block the fence a bit more for privacy reasons. This one was so easy to put together (highly recommend using a drill as it will make it sooo much faster- but it can be assembled screwing everything in by hand) and it really does look so nice. I'm definitely going to be buying a couple more of these to plant flowers and herbs.

Nice planterNice raised double planter. Was expecting it to be more a coffee brown (as it looks in pictures) but it's more a reddish brown. Quality of the wood is good. Assembled within 1 hour using just a screwdriver. There are no pre drilled indicator holes on the legs - and no diagram on the instructions showing how the legs should be flushed. I made the small mistake of screwing legs to be flush with the outside rather than tucked in flushed on the inner - this caused small gaps on either side of inner planter where the slats slot in, not a major issue, but legs should have indicator holes to prevent "guessing". Overall, pleased with planter.

Perfect planter for climbing plants.The garden flower box with trellis was very easy to assemble. It looks nice. And it is perfect for my two climbing plants. I left them in their containers and it was a tight fit, but I got them in. You could plant them directly in the planter, but I need to move the planter inside during the winter and though it would be less messy.

Looks nice, but terrible qualityBought this in June & looks lovely but has formed a huge split on the bottom tier. Its not over packed with soil so really should not be coming apart after a few months.
