Didn't do muchIt didn't seem to be working. After using it for several weeks, in different locations, it only collected half a tray of water. I selected the option to automatically shut off when the humidity dropped below 50%, and it never shut off. I put a humidity sensor next to it that shows the current humidity - it was 40% twice, and closer to 70% other times. Also, the humidity didn't change after turning it off. So, I concluded that this humidifier was useless and returned it.

Small but powerful dehumidifierJust what I needed. Small but powerful. Stylish and durable/good quality. Good size, easy to carry and doesn't take up space. Light and sound are separated and don't disturb sleep or ambience. The timer is convenient when I want to let it run for a while without monitoring, or when I'm away from home. It displays the room humidity. This is very useful in the winter because the humidity in our bedroom is high. My little ones sometimes spill things on the carpet or wet the bed. It's not a dryer, but it does help remove moisture. Especially in the winter, the humidity in the bedroom is high and we are worried. This is really useful. Very satisfied

There's nothing to envyam very impressed with this dehumidifier! It is small, quiet, and extremely efficient. After only a few days of use, I have noticed a significant improvement in the air quality and less moisture in the room. We live in a not-so-new house and have noticed mold behind the bed/nightstand that needs to be dealt with. (In addition to the naturally ventilated room) The tank is easy to empty and simple to operate. It has completely changed the way mold and humidity are controlled. I would really recommend this to anyone with moisture issues in their home.

Efficient and user-friendly dehumidifierThis 12-litre dehumidifier has been a real help in my home. It easily removes excess moisture and prevents mould and damp from growing. The humidity display is one of my favourite features - it's clear and easy to understand, and you can adjust the humidity to your personal preference. The smart control feature is great too. You can set the humidity you want and the unit automatically adjusts, saving you a lot of hassle. I also love the timer feature, which lets you run it only when you need it, making it very energy efficient. Running it at full speed costs around 6p per hour. This dehumidifier is surprisingly quiet, and even running it in my bedroom at night, it's quiet enough not to disturb my sleep (it even has a night mode to reduce the noise). The water tank is easy to remove and empty. I have to empty it at least once or twice a day, as humidity and moisture can build up in my home (especially during this time of winter). Excellent dehumidifier!!!I bought this after returning a cheap, underpowered dehumidifier. This machine is amazing - I'm really impressed with the results. It dried towels, jeans, and other items overnight, and it did a great job reducing heavy condensation and mold on my windows! It's compact and quiet compared to other dehumidifiers. We left it running overnight in our bedroom, and it was surprisingly relaxing. The night mode is even quieter, which is great for a good night's sleep. It's also super easy to install and empty the tank! If you're thinking about buying this machine like I was, get it now! I'm so happy with my purchase and I wish I had bought it sooner!

Fall and winter essentialsEvery home needs a dehumidifier like this! Like many people this time of year, I woke up to my windows fogging up from condensation. Knowing that mold would soon set in, I needed to get the humidity in my home under control, fast. I looked at a variety of different dehumidifiers on costway, and this one looked like the perfect tool for the job, and it had great reviews. The humidity was 95 degrees when I turned it on (no wonder my windows fogged up every morning!), and an hour later, this great tool had brought the humidity down to 77 degrees. The dehumidifier is not silent when it's on. In normal mode, it's a little louder than a fan, and like all new sounds, you slowly get used to it running in the background. As for the mobility of the unit, I'm a single woman and can easily move it around my home using the casters. It's not too heavy, and it's pretty compact. You can easily tuck it into the corner of a couch or a room. Even if you can't, this machine looks pretty good. The downside? Fair warning: After receiving the humidifier, you need to leave it in for 6-12 hours before first use (just like a new refrigerator). This is to let the gases settle. I think this could be rated better (and the only reason I took off a star). Just to check how long I should leave it on for, I sent the company an email and got a prompt response within 12 hours, so impeccable customer service. Also, I recommend skipping the front section of the manual. There were so many warnings that I was even scared to open it! All in all, if you are struggling with condensation issues, definitely try this. In the past, I made the mistake of buying a cheaper, smaller machine and learned the hard way that when it comes to dehumidifiers, you really do need to spend the money on a quality machine. I personally feel that if this dehumidifier can reduce humidity and prevent mold growth, it will be worth the money. It's just a small addition and makes my house feel a little warmer and cozier. (PS: please excuse the bare floors in the photos, I just moved in)

It works great!This dehumidifier is a great performer, small and portable so it won't get in the way - but it's powerful and can effectively remove a lot of moisture. It's portable and even has wheels so you can easily move it to different rooms. It's beautiful, with a simple design and a clear, easy to read color interface. There are many automatic functions on the top panel for easy operation, and a slot on the back so you can see how much water is inside. It's easy to empty and has a tube so you can connect it to a sink or drain, making it even more convenient. We are very happy with this product and it's a great value for the price. Recommended!!!

Fast and efficientThis dehumidifier works well and quickly clears moisture from windows on cold days while reducing humidity levels in the room. It is quiet and not irritating when in operation. I like the sleek design and easy-to-use controls. The only downside is that it would be easier to operate if there were a push-down handle on the back of the unit, one on each side. However, given the current design, I admit that this might be difficult to achieve. After purchasing my first unit, I was so impressed with its performance that I quickly purchased a second unit. My family and friends have also purchased one and have been very happy with its performance. I highly recommend this dehumidifier.

Great value package, good sized dehumidifierhave been having condensation, damp and mould in my bedroom and I recently had to clean parts of the walls and inside cupboards to get rid of the horrible black mould. I already have an electric dehumidifier but it is expensive to run. I have another in the wardrobe which needs to be topped up but I think these smaller 500ml ones would be more suitable for the cupboards and in front of the windows where the condensation is very high and spreads across the floor of the room and above the skirting boards where there is constant damp and mould. So far I am very happy with how well they work in conjunction with my other dehumidifiers, I have been using them for a few weeks now and can see the desiccant absorbing the moisture and so far there is no water in the bottom of the chamber so hopefully they will last a while. So far so good!

Compact, colorful, and quiet dehumidifierI already have two dehumidifiers but needed another for my attic room. This one is the most stylish of the three and has a larger 1.5 litre water tank. The coloured lights are a plus and it dehumidifies quite quickly. Unlike other dehumidifiers this one is much quieter and has a timer so I don't forget to turn it off. Overall I find this dehumidifier very useful. It adds a nice touch to the room and is good value for money.

Too much noise and not good enough.The bedroom is too noisy! I have a room temperature and humidity monitor at home. Before I turned on the dehumidifier in the morning, the humidity was only 70%. I let it run overnight (12 hours) in night mode, and a little water accumulated. The monitor showed that the humidity was 65%. The video shows the amount of water accumulated after 12 hours of continuous operation.

Very efficient and compact machine.It's small and was a pleasant surprise. The instructions were clear and informative. It works quickly, is quiet, and absorbs moisture very quickly. I'm thinking of getting another one to put near my fully tiled bathroom, which creates a lot of condensation that clings to the tiles and then dissipates upstairs, and I have some portable units that reduce condensation. I recommend this machine because it works incredibly efficiently. It also comes with a small hose that can be connected to a larger container if the humidity is high, or to the drain in my shower. Highly recommended.

JYMIPA Dehumidifier ExcellentThe predecessor of this dehumidifier lasted over 15 years before it broke down; it didn't have wheels, but this one does, which makes it very easy to move around. It's quieter than I expected on the lower speeds, and it's simple to use as the digital control panel is easy to understand. I usually have to empty the tank when it's half full after about 3 hours, which is good too because you need some patience to get it out; you have to kneel down and use both hands. If the 2-liter tank is full, it can overflow and it's a bit of a hassle to put it back in as it's tight, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Great dehumidifierwish I had known earlier that old buildings in the UK almost always need a dehumidifier, especially in the autumn and winter. If in doubt, buy a humidity monitor and see if your room/rooms are staying above 60%. I bought this one and also bought a slightly cheaper one (around £100). This one is worth the extra money, easier to empty and has more features/more target humidity levels. The only downside is that it is a bit noisy, so if you plan on using it while you sleep, even on low, it's not ideal. Make sure you buy a dehumidifier with a high-level float switch, which will automatically shut off before it overflows. This one is great if you dry clothes on the radiator. I'm a bit obsessed with keeping the humidity "just right". Of course, still open the windows from time to time because you need fresh air. Next time I might consider buying a dehumidifier with an air purifier. All in all, this dehumidifier is definitely worth the money. Don't let mold be the first sign of a problem. I've kind of gone down the rabbit hole and started to develop a fear of mold spores... Also, don't spray tons of mold remover everywhere, because it turns out that's not good for your health either...

Very effectiveI have never used a dehumidifier before. I bought it to solve the problem of permeable dampness in my kitchen. I have been running it every day since I received it nine days ago. It took me a while to figure out what controls I should use to solve the dampness problem. I hesitated, but I emptied the tank every day, sometimes more than once. The amount of water that is pumped out is incredible. The downside is that the continuous drain hose is about 2-3 mm larger than the opening, so it is useless. I contacted costway to try to get in touch with the seller. The only option on their system is to return the product. Hopefully the seller will see these reviews and fix the problem. The machine sounds an alarm when the tank is full, and if removed carefully, the water will not overflow. A great device. Lightweight and has wheels.

Effective but loudThis is the second dehumidifier of this type I've bought. It works slightly better than the other one because it has a more powerful fan that circulates air faster to purify the room, but it's also noisier. Also, while the other dehumidifier would go a few percentage points below the set point and wouldn't turn on until it was a few percentage points above the set point, this one drops the humidity down to exactly the set point and turns on/off as the set point fluctuates. So it's effective, but probably not a good fit if you want to share a room with other people.

Great product.We had a bad case of mold in our bedroom and tried everything. After using this machine for two days, the air quality has improved significantly and there is no more damp smell. It also monitors the humidity after 48 hours so it can self-regulate.

Useful and effective.Absorbs amazing amounts of water and works amazingly well. Useful for any damp laundry or for drying clothes quickly (without a dryer). Solidly constructed but a little heavy, especially when going downstairs. It has multiple settings and a timer. The light might be a little too bright if used while sleeping. Haven't calculated the energy efficiency yet, but I'm sure it's still better than a dryer.

Colorful, compact and portableThis is a great little device for keeping small spaces dry. It collects up to 14 ounces of water per day and is quiet so it won't bother you. It uses very little power so it's very energy efficient. It automatically shuts off when the water tank is full which is very convenient. It's small, colorful, and portable and is a great value for the money because it removes moisture so effectively :)

Works wellWe previously had a large and expensive dehumidifier that was heavy to carry around and suddenly stopped working after about six months of use, so we didn't want to spend too much money to replace it, and this one seemed to have good reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. We have a cold, damp wall at the back of our house, so I thought I'd try this one in my bedroom. It's compact and smaller than I expected, so it's very easy to carry around. It started to accumulate quite a bit of water almost immediately, and it seems to work well. Compared to our previous dehumidifier, I found this one quiet and comfortable, even when placed next to my bed while sleeping. It's simple to use, with only an on/off button and a second light button. There are no other functions to display or adjust the humidity, but that wasn't a bother for me. I do like the light feature, although it has no effect on the function of the machine. If it keeps working well, I might buy another one for another room.

Small, economical dehumidifierThe product works well and I'm very happy with it. It collects a fair amount of water each day; it seems to have reduced the humidity in my bedroom, where previously there was a lot of water beading up on the windows and puddling at the bottom of the window frames, now there's usually just a thin layer of condensation on cold nights. Of course, the higher powered models are more powerful, but for the price it's a steal. The fan could be a little quieter. It's noisier than a computer fan, but quieter than a floor fan. As for the size of the machine, it takes up very little space and can be easily moved between rooms, which is great - but beware of the risk of accidentally kicking it over (which has happened to me a few times) as this will cause a lot of the collected water to leak out.

Work is a bit slow and not quiet.Update: From my previous review, I had to drop 2 stars because the unit was too slow to dehumidify. Even in a small room, it worked, but I had to leave it on all day. I later bought a larger, more efficient unit to cover more area. Previous Review: Shortly after we moved in, the humidity in our home was very high and condensation was causing nasty black mold. We decided to look into ways to lower the air temperature and avoid humidity issues. We purchased a window vacuum to remove condensation from the windows and shower. We purchased hygrometers for each room and 2 dehumidifiers for the 2 bedrooms. The unit worked great and the humidity dropped to healthy levels according to the hygrometers. Since using the dehumidifier, we have also noticed that the air smells fresher, my allergy symptoms have improved, and I sleep more comfortably. The unit is designed to last and is a great value for the money.

Very efficientIt's really impressive how quickly it pulls moisture out of the air! It filled up in 5 days, not to mention the hours it was closed every day when I opened the windows. This is exactly what I needed as I have quite a bad damp problem in my bedroom, the mould would grow back almost every day, although I still have to spray a few places here and there with the bleach sprayer, this dehumidifier really does keep the mould at bay. You can even hear it reducing the dampness by the smell and feel of the room, before it had a musty smell and really felt damp!! I'm really happy and impressed with this product, I will most likely buy more for other parts of my home, not as bad as my bedroom but now that I know how well it works I will definitely buy more. It's also very simple and efficient to empty, overall it's lightweight which means it's easy to move around and not too bulky so can fit in most places. I love the multi-colour light feature, usually have it on as an ambient light but can be easily turned off, it also changes to a solid red light when it needs to be emptied which is very handy and easy to spot. As for the sound, it is a bit loud if you have it next to your bed, and I have only tried turning it on 'full loud' at night as I find that sweating during the night can exacerbate the dampness problem, so I'm not sure how much quieter it would be if I used the night function. However, I have it about a metre from the foot of my bed and it is barely audible. I paid £33 for this product, which I think is excellent value for money as I have another similar dehumidifier in my kitchen that cost £50 and I think this is more efficient - I would pay £50 for this if I had to, so for me £33 is a steal. Overall, a very efficient, low profile product that has made a huge difference to my home.

Works fine until the timer ends and then it makes 3 loud beeps, even in sleep modeThe small machine works great and the air in the bedroom feels really fresh. The only problem is that while the night mode is quiet, when the timer ends it beeps about 3 loud times before it goes off which definitely wakes me up.

Reliable dehumidifierI've had this dehumidifier for a while now and it really does make a big difference in keeping the air fresh and comfortable. It's quiet, energy efficient, and doesn't take up a lot of space, which is a big plus. The controls are simple to operate, though I often have to empty the tank on particularly humid days. Small but mightyAfter using it for a while, I noticed that the air quality in my living room has improved significantly, especially when I'm doing laundry.
