Slam DunkMy sons are still using this as of December, which is almost a year now. With four kids, I think it's a great buy. The only downside is that the net breaks easily, but other than that, it's a great value. We don't put water or sand in it. But it's on the lowest setting.

Well worth it!It's much bigger than I expected. It's very durable, looks official, and is even better than I expected. It's a great value, and my daughter loves it! I took a picture before I realized I didn't have any batteries, but it worked perfectly and the sensor was spot on.

My son likes it very muchGet ready for banging noises all day long. My 12-year-old loves it, and it drives me crazy, haha. He actually put it on the wall, and when he took it off, the paint peeled off, so be careful, especially if you have cheap paint. Then he put it on the door and banged on it all day long. Sometimes I have to calm him down for a bit, haha, but he loves it, and so do his guests. And I have to say, his dog loves it too. He even thinks the ball is his and tries to sneak it away.

Keeping my son away from screensAfter some research, I bought this for my 10-year-old son, and he absolutely loves it. He says it's the best basketball hoop he's ever used! It has three game modes, so he can play alone or with his family. It's perfect for inclement weather or school holidays, and it keeps him away from video games. It's great value for money and the quality is excellent. The only downside is that the volume is a bit loud. However, I'd definitely buy this again as a gift!

Get the kids off the couchI bought this for my 6-year-old son, and his 15-year-old brother loves it, too. He dunks hard with it, and it still hasn't broken. It's incredibly durable! The only downside is that the electronic scoreboard isn't very accurate, and misses are counted even when the basket hits the rim, so I took a star off. I'd recommend this to anyone with kids to get them off the couch.

The nine year old loved it!His only favorite thing to do is play video games, but he's so energetic he's always throwing things around the living room, slapping the ball, and even kicking things while he's playing. I bought him this for Christmas, but he didn't seem all that excited. However, once we set it up, he couldn't stop playing in it and had a blast. He even played with his sister. It's much sturdier than other door knockers we've used before, and it comes with three balls, so there's no arguing over who gets to shoot! It's so easy to set up (my 13-year-old daughter did it herself), and we love that it keeps score. Occasionally, it'll miss a shot or over-count depending on the angle or whether the net bounces. My 9-year-old, 11-year-old, and 13-year-old play with it constantly. It's perfect for all ages, because who doesn't love shooting hoops while watching TV?! Absolutely the best door knocker we've ever used. Highly recommended!

Good value for moneybought this for my 10-year-old. You get what you pay for. Ultimately, it was worth it for my child. The instruction manual is useless! So, if you need clear instructions, don't buy it. We followed the pictures on the box almost exactly. We took a few pieces apart and tried a few times. But it took about 20 minutes in total. No tools were required. It's a bit flimsy. So, if you're buying this for a toddler who likes to climb...don't buy it. Note: This is too small for my 4'11" 10-year-old. However, we bought it because we live in an apartment, and it wouldn't make sense for him to be hanging on the door all day (it's quieter). He loves it, though. His 4-year-old sister loves it; it's the perfect height for her. So, I think it's more suitable for 4-6 year-olds. If you're looking for a cheaper, temporary solution for a small space or for a toddler, this is your best bet.

Great but not sturdyMy kids and husband love this. It sets up perfectly and isn't too large to take up our entire play area. The construction is entirely plastic. The instructions, while not very good, are manageable. The biggest drawback is that it's not very sturdy. My two-year-old once leaned on it and severely bent one of the top bars, so it now tilts quite a bit. My kids still play with it, but I was disappointed by the experience.
