Perfect for doubling up your storage spaceThis is the perfect solution for what I was looking for...very sturdy (toe box doesn't fall off). My goal was to be able to put my flats and sandals (not as high as heels) under my pants at twice the height (see photo) so they are easier to store. I measured the available space and looked at the dimensions carefully and this is exactly what I needed!

Nice horizontal shelf.It is much more convenient than the previous tilted shoe rack. Shoes can slide off the rack easily. This shoe rack is horizontal and can hold all types of shoes. Each layer can hold about 4 pairs of shoes.

Good for usThese shoes are very sturdy. We winter in our RV in Arizona and shoes take up too much space. We keep 8 pairs of shoes outside. 8 pairs is tight but ok. Keep in mind that shoes come in men's and women's sizes so how many pairs you can fit in will vary.

Great little shoe rackMany reviewers complained about damaged bits and holes that don’t line up… I didn’t have this problem. All seemed to be fine for me. One piece of advice to avoid misalignment of holes is to put the screws in but leave them all loose to allow for some flexibility as you put it together. Then when all the screws are in, go around and tighten up all the screws.
The instructions were in picture form, easy to follow and it didn’t take long to put it together… probably about 10 -15 mins.
I think the quality is very good and it is sturdy. It fits 6 pairs of my size 7 trainers with space underneath for flat shoes like slippers or flip flips. It is sturdy enough for me to sit on so I guess the max weight in the description is accurate.
For ages I had a reasonably neat, pile of shoes in the corner of my room, now I have the shoe rack it is so much tidier.
I’m pretty impressed with it overall and I would recommend it for anyone wanting a small shoe rack.Posted on

OK, could be improvedThis is an OK shoe rack. Some points to be aware of:
1. I paid £30 and it turns out you can get it for £21 from other sellers
2. The last few screws towards the bottom were really hard to put in because the holes on the shelf didn't line up well with the vertical support - I had to loosen some of the other screws and then use a lot of brute force to get them in. I considered sending it back but couldn't face dismantling it, so forced it to work
3. The varnished finish is very shiny - I guess this will make it easier to clean but would have preferred it to be more of a satin than a gloss
4. It wobbles. I will have to put something under one of the legs to make it stable
5. There isn't much space between the shelves, which means ankle boots won't fit, only shoes. Other shoe racks I've had in the past have had more height between the shelves - I didn't think about this before buying. I'm having to put boots on the top which I was planning to use for bags and now can't

Negatives: Couple of rough areas, which I found out when I got a splinter taking it out of the package.

Average/Poor QualityOrdered white but looks like it was painted one coat only, You can see bare wood through.
It would be good if they supply screw caps which would make it look better in my opinion.

Not a sturdy bench!The shoe bench is not sturdy due to thin / slim 4 legs, even after taking care to tighten all the nuts as one of the reviewer had suggested, it simply does not work with slim piece of wood for legs; wish the manufacturer had provided square thick wooden legs as this would have better stabilised the bench for sitting on it, otherwise its OK for the price

great .Love my bamboo shoe rack! It was easy to install , The three shelves are roomy enough for several pairs of shoes, and the top can double as a handy seat while putting on or taking off shoes.. The bamboo looks cool and keeps my shoes organized. The bamboo material looks nice and adds a touch of nature to my space. It's sturdy, and the slatted design allows for air circulation, keeping my shoes fresh. Plus, it's lightweight, so I can easily move it around.

Not suitable for a heavy loadI fitted my old wine racks to this and it will hold 8 bottles of wine plus me (65kg) but its not super sturdy, just an occasional seat while waiting for something to be ready in the kitchen

Fairly Priced, Easy to Assemble, Light Weight, Good Quality and Holds PlentyI have many different types of shoes, sneakers or sandals to wear, depending on the outfit or where I might be going. I typically would leave them under the bed or my dresser for easy accessibility, however my fiancé was getting tired of moving them whenever she cleaned our bedroom. Since I didn't want to run up and down the steps each time I needed to go out, I decided that this might be a good alternative.

Its a decent bench.This product was purchased with the intention of getting shoes up off the floor. It works well for that. I gave it 4 stars because all the screws for this of which are exposed are all gold so it looks a bit tacky with the bench being black, black would make it look better. But it does its job, I just wouldnt suggest this bench if you are going to have it out in open.

Very NiceA little smaller than expected but very nice. My living room looks more organized. I don't allow shoes in the house so usually everyone's shoes were sitting on the living room entrance making it messy. This is great for that. Could be a little less expensive for the size though.

Entryway Shoe BenchSmall size perfect for our needs. We can fit 4 pairs of shoes comfortably leaving the top shelf empty for guests' shoes. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the material as I have never bought bamboo before. If you want to use bench for boots, however, you must use top of bench as boots will not fit on bottom or middle shelves.

Nice looking shoe rack for a reasonable priceIt's a nice looking, simply designed shoe rack. That's about it. And quite frankly, that's all you need. Just don't attempt to sit on it. I didn't, but if you've actually purchased and assembled this product, you will see that it isn't the greatest quality. The wood is thin and dry. One of the legs split a little bit as I was driving one of the screws in. Not much and hopefully it doesn't spread (but I don't think it will). I'm seeing people talk about how they can sit on it. I wouldn't. But do so at your own risk. Just put your shoes on it, and don't abuse it. Don't knock into it, and don't sit on it. Should do the job you need it to do.

This bench is easy to assembleThis bench is easy to assemble. Everything was nicely packaged. It looks very nice right when I walk into my apartment. I can take my shoes off and store them in the 2 racks. Boots probably won't fit in there. I live in Florida so I don't really use boots so not a problem. It's a very light bench but it feels sturdy. I'm very happy with it. Nice way to keep your shoes off your carpets and apartment flooring right when you walk in the door.

Solid value for the money. You get what you pay forI think this is a solid value for the money. It didn't get 5 stars, because it didn't really delight me.My general observations are:1. Assembly was very easy. Though I do recommend using a drill or impact wrench or something to drive all the screws. There's a lot of them and you're going to have to turn them a long way. It would take a long time using the supplied allen wrench.2. Fit and Finish were acceptable, but fit was probably less than what I'd consider "good". Again, be realistic about what to expect at this price range.3. The hardware was rough. Some had rust. Others had some burs. I got a nasty cut on one of my fingers from the course threading on the screws. One of the tops of one of the screws broke off. (Half my fault. Had i just used the allen wrench, it's possible it would not have.)4. The size? I was expecting something on the smallish side, but these were even a bit smaller than my expectations. (I measured with a tape measure before ordering so I'd have an idea of what I'd be up against.) Also, in the little racks below, they can comfortably hold 2 pair of tennis shoes per. But cannot hold a boot of any kind, not even a low cut one. You can TRY and jam 3 pair of shoes on a shelf and it will kinda work, but it will look disheveled.5. How sturdy are the benches? If you're looking for something to sit on while you take off or put on your shoes, these work. If you are anticipating heavy, sturdy furniture you can just flop yourself down on, these are not up to the task. I weigh 225 at the moment (much to my shame). But I feel fine if I gently sit down on the benches to deal with my shoes. But as I said, if I just flopped down on them like I might do on a park bench, I wouldn't expect these to hold up.6.. Overall, am I happy with them? Yes, absolutely. They're very inexpensive, but they work. I needed something like this by each of the 2 main entryways to my home and these fit the bill at a very inexpensive price. Just be very realistic about what to expect at this price point and you probably won't be disappointed. I don't regret buying 2 of these at all.

Great bench for the priceI bought this to go by the front door so we can sit down and take our boots off after we get in from the snow or the rain. It wasn't mentally hard to put together but physically I have carpal tunnel and it was a little hard on my hands.

great lightweight shelfThis is perfect for what I needed - to put all the pet foods etc on. Fairly easy to put together also. Hats off to whoever decided to use the little nut-type thing to thread the screws into.

Excellent product. Well made, sturdy, attractive.Well made, handsome, easy assembly (about 15 minutes) and an all-around winner. Very pleased with the quality and construction of the bench. Will not be using for shoes, but as an indoor plant stand, for small, lightweight plants and seedlings. Going to add LED strip lighting, under top portion for seedlings.May purchase another and actually use one for shoes! :)

Great!This is just what I was trying to find for my entrance. I live in the top apartment and I have ALL my visitors take their shoes off, because of my toddler. Usually, it is a hot mess with all the shoes and people are terrified of falling down the stairs while trying to put their shoes on. This not only gives them a safe place to sit, but a place to put their shoes. As you can see from my picture, it fits perfectly I'm my tiny entrance.
