Excellent quality and excellent servicewas a little hesitant when ordering this awning, fearing the price and quality might not be great, but I was willing to give it a try. I am very happy with the quality of the product and the customer service from this company. The materials they use are of high quality and the machining, hardware, and paint are spot on. I assembled the awning myself and just needed help attaching the awning to the mounting brackets, which my son came over to help me with later in the week. I had a minor issue with the wall mount bracket missing, and the company was very responsive and fixed it within a few hours. I am very happy with their product and service.

Nice awning but terrible instructionsBeautiful awning that is well made. I was surprised at how thick and sturdy it is considering the price. The fabric is thick and durable and should hold up well to all kinds of weather. To mount it to a building, you would definitely need two people. However, the instructions are awful!! You are supposed to research the components yourself and figure out how to put it together because the instructions are of little help. We ended up just throwing the instructions aside and figuring it out on our own. Also, the instructions say it is for cement, cement blocks, brick, etc., but it says nothing about wood. And the mounting hardware provided is also for cement. If you are not going to mount it on cement, you will need to buy your own mounting hardware. This is annoying because the instructions mention how to mount it on wood, which is the exact opposite of what is stated in the instructions. I only took one star off because of the poor instructions and inconsistent mounting, but once you get over that frustration, it is a beautiful, well made awning. If they would have provided a better instruction manual and mounting hardware for multiple surfaces, I would have given it 5 stars.

Perfectbought this for my small guest bedroom; it has a deck and no shade. The tarp fits perfectly and my husband and I installed it yesterday, I have to say it was a little harder than I expected but it was worth it. The mounting hardware was included and it was very easy to install. The tarp is great quality, thick and durable, it is waterproof and it looks great too.

Great customer service!waited to write a review until I had a chance to install and use this awning. The customer service from this company is great. The reel had a defective part. The company sent a replacement part quickly and without any hassle. You must use their email address and be specific about your needs. I love this awning. I assembled it myself. The instructions are a little confusing but do explain the instructions very well. I had a friend help me roll the fabric onto the reel and then attach the final assembly to the house. Everything went very smoothly. I recommend you be patient and take your time with the assembly. I am very happy with the final result.

Cute! Perfect shade from She ShedFirst of all, thank you to the seller for correcting the color mistake! The customer service is awesome! I ordered an off-white and received an aquamarine. My husband started installing it before I got home to inspect it. Even though it's not the right color, I have to say it turns out beautifully! It took my husband and dad a few tries to figure out how to get the thing straight, but they got it installed with a little tweaking. Be aware though, this thing will sit about 2 feet lower than where you install it. As you can see, it sits lower due to the way my shed is built. Still, it works great for keeping out the hot California sun! Thank you!

Both ends need something to secure to and I do love the product and will purchase another one.I like how sturdy and seemingly durable the fabric is. The retractable feature is necessary and easy to use. * You MUST have something to attach both ends to.* One end of mine is attached to the deck, hand-rail (I included picture) and the side with the handle is mounted to the deck floor. I had a person handy with tools install mine. I would purchase this product again and will probably get one for the other side of my deck.

The prices are very affordable and the customer service is great.really like this, it works great and is perfect for my small patio. My only problem was finding someone to install it, but that wasn't the manufacturer's fault. I hired a handyman and he said the instructions were not easy to understand and he ended up going online and watching videos to figure it out. The next morning it fell off the house because of its weight and the way he had it hung. He then installed it incorrectly and broke the rod on the front. He said he tried to replace it with a replacement but was unsuccessful. While I was waiting for him to get me a new shade I emailed the company myself...they responded immediately and sent me a parts list, replaced the part for free and it was delivered to my house within three days. The company was very helpful. My neighbor and I replaced the part ourselves and it works great now. For the price this is a great little shade. I recently replaced my patio decking with a composite material that gets very hot and this keeps me and my dog cool and also blocks the sun from getting too hot in the kitchen.

Great solutionI bought this to block the sun on my deck. If you are not particularly handy, like us, the directions leave a bit to be desired. I had my handyman install this for us, but it was a quick job. Because of the way ours is being used, the main support side had to have the heavy-duty anchors put into our house, and the post it pulls over to was screwed down onto deck flooring. It needs to be lined up accurately for easy usage. So far, it is serving its purpose well, keeping my deck cooler when it’s pulled across and is attractive as well. Guests this weekend were impressed with this product. It seems to be of good quality, heavy duty. I will say, it also blocks the breeze, not a concern for me, but some might.
