Great but not perfectThis is a new Amazon account for me and my first purchase and first review but it is a genuine review. I couldn't decide on 4 or 5 stars, I chose five based on how much I paid for the chair.
Firstly it's not a big chair, it's compact but I'm six foot and slim and it's fine for me. I actually needed a recliner chair first and foremost, I've always wanted a massage chair so I decided to combine both needs with this chair. I've owned recliner chairs which cost more than this chair which were premium, this is a more basic level in terms of comfort, quality of leather etc. but it's a decent chair for sitting in.
Unfortunately this chair cannot be used as a recliner chair for TV watching, the footrest only fully inclines when the back is fully reclined. At present I use it for playing the Xbox with my feet on the floor, for feet up TV watching I will have to buy a footstool. Overall I'm still satisfied with this chair for normal use.
As for massage functionality I believe that this is a seriously good chair. I've only previously owned back massagers which fit onto an office chair and this is a proper upgrade. You can use each of the six massage functions manually and I'm very impressed and happy with the quality of massage. To be honest most of the pre programmed massages are a bit on the soft side for me (they are described as either soft or gentle and I still haven't worked out which is firmer). The 'Sport' setting is really the only firm one. However, they are all very pleasant and each one does feels different.
Again, overall I'm satisfied with the massage aspect of this chair. So I'm very happy with the price that I paid and the chair has more than met (most) of my needs and therefore it is a genuine five star purchase for me, thanks.Posted on

Excellent massage chair, good value for money!I was a bit worried that the cost of this chair was low in comparison with other massage chairs, however, we are absolutely blown away with the quality and capability of this chair. We have owned a massage chair for over 15 years, which at the time cost £3000, and I can confidently say that this massage chair is far superior to what we had previously. The range and sensitivity of the programs, the synchronisation with leg pressure pads, and the overall finish make this a massage chair that I would heartily recommend to anyone. Having said that, myself and my wife fit into it well, but if you are more than 18 stone or have partially wide hips you may find it’s a bit narrow. Please note, obviously having just received the chair I have no idea how long it’ll last. It does appear well-made.
Finally, the chair width of 73cm makes it relatively easy to get into most houses which is an issue with other, more commercial chairs.Posted on
