Important design error to be aware of.This is a lovely travel cot however the description is very misleading. If you wish to leave the collapsible side up you have three straps hanging down in the cot. A potential choking hazard. None of the photographs or videos display this. All very cleverly hidden. Naughty. This is not entirely the fault of the seller here but bad move where the manufacturer is concerned, who cleverly shot the promotional video and photographs omitting the view of these straps. So do bear this in mind if you wish to use this item with the side up!!! In terms of this seller though cannot fault

Brilliant cot/bedside cotWe bought this for our 8month old who had outgrown the next to me crib and wouldn't settle in his own room, unfortunately his cotbed was too wide to fit in our room. This is a great alternative. I have purchased a mattress to fit it safely as the mattress provided is very thin and wouldn't support the long term use we need of it. We haven't used the changing table attachment but it looks of equally great quality. Would highly recommend.

Not the best but not the worstAttachments are not sturdy they do not stay on the travel cot one bit and the mattress is extremely hard and thin, the straps on the sides feel hazardous but it is a good size assembly is okay and it does get used every week at some point

Great crib, easy to assemble and convert.This is a very pretty crib and toddler bed and is very easy to assemble. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lightweight convertible crib as it will save you a lot of money later. My son had no problems sleeping in it and seemed to be looking forward to sleeping in his own cozy bed. Great value for the price and love the teether stick which looks very pretty too.

Great companyThis review is written 2 years later. This bed was perfect for my son and still is. However, last night he broke the mattress base from jumping too much. I contacted them immediately to see if I could purchase parts to fix the crib and they were awesome and offered to send me a mattress base at no charge. The response was quick and the communication was great.

Have a nice shoppingBought for family vacation stay. Price is reasonable compared to other similar products on the market. Delivery was fast and packaging was quite good. Assembly was a bit of a struggle and I am with an impatient person!!! Once assembled, the crib is sturdy and the size is right. Lightweight and easy to move around the room. I bought a better and thicker mattress though. It is still in crib status and will be replaced with a cot next year to see how it goes. Clean and neat, the white color also looks clean and neat.

Excellent product and design coupled with exceptional deliveryThe cot is of very good quality. Our 10 month old daughter has been sleeping well since the first day. The mattress is very comfortable and comes with a mattress cover. The cot looks very durable, scratch-resistant and fits perfectly in our bedroom. Our daughter has a very good sleep quality and we are very satisfied. The drawers come with rails and are very easy to assemble and save time.

Good cribIt's a beautiful looking crib, but it was a nightmare to install... they sent instructions for different types of cribs, and you have to figure out which type fits what, and there are a lot of parts that don't fit easily.

Excellent value for money, good purchase!This has been a great choice for when my little grandchildren come over for sleepovers. Sturdy, good quality, well designed, has mesh in the hood so can be used outdoors when the weather is nice. Granddaughter is now 5 months old and still has plenty of room for her to sleep. So glad I bought this, it looks beautiful too!

A bit bigIt's well made, easy to set up and relatively easy to fold down. It looks pretty sturdy, which is a plus. It's a little big for a travel cot though, and a little deeper than I'd have liked, so it's not so convenient to use after a C-section, where you're not advised to bend over too much. But overall it looks good and it's nice to be able to see through the mesh when your baby's in it.

AmazingLow but love love - had a c-section but plan to use this once I'm a few weeks into my recovery as I'll be using another taller moses basket downstairs as I'll be sleeping in a recliner for the first few weeks to avoid my c-section scar from opening up. It's light, easy to move, easy to put back down when folded up, and a great space saver for me

Great value for money, baby likes it very muchThis is the best gift I have ever bought for my baby! We have it downstairs and use it every day, moving it from room to room (living room, dining room, kitchen, study). She sleeps much better in it than the £250+ sleeping bag we have in the bedroom, and it is so convenient and portable. We are planning on taking this to hotels when we go travelling, and wish we had bought two. Highly recommended, and it looks beautiful too!

Very good crib, easy to assembleThe crib is great, great quality and very easy to assemble. The rails on the toddler crib are also great, much better than the previous crib with rails I had. It's the right size and not bulky for a small room.

Very sturdy, easy to assemble, perfectThe cot is very sturdy and easy to assemble, but there was one thing that was not clear in the instructions - my tip is to look under the sides of the cot for the larger holes! Everything else was clear and I am very happy with this cot. The slight paint smell will dissipate after a few days if left in a well-ventilated room, so I don't think it will be a problem.

You get what you pay forThis is a nice cot, relatively easy to put together for the two of you and it looks nice too. Yes, there are probably nicer looking cots out there. What annoys me though is that when you put the crib sides on instead of the toddler side, there are some random holes at the end of the cot, and the same goes for the toddler side. I also wish the accessories weren't visible from the outside as they kind of ruin the aesthetic and give away that this is a cheap cot. But if you don't want to spend over £300 on a cot, then this is a nice cot.

Read the crib brochureIt's already a good crib. I saw some reviews saying it wouldn't lock when installed, or wouldn't unlock when removed. There's a step in the instruction manual... When you take it out for the first time, make sure to snap the side rails into place first, then press the base down, and fold it up in the opposite direction, first pull up the middle of the base, then unlock the sides.

ConvenientI bought this for my niece to use when she came to stay over. She loved it and I loved that she wasn't sleeping in my bed. It was easy to put together but a little fiddly to fold up. The fact that it doubles as a playpen was also a bonus. When folded up, it stores up nice and compact.

Lightweight, yet strongWhile it clearly states on the box that the Orland Crib is made in China, there is no place on the box that states that the mattress is included. However, there is a sticker on the box (photo included) that states that the mattress is made in the UK, so I'm guessing the mattress was added to the box after it arrived in the UK. One of the main reasons the crib is cheap is that it (not the mattress) is made in China. Therefore, Chinese labour is cheap. I'm all for buying UK made goods, and if I didn't need this item urgently (my son, wife and grandson unexpectedly returned from Australia today) I would definitely look further for UK made ones. However, China is the manufacturing capital of the world and it would be very difficult to find cheap UK made products like this. Construction and Assembly: The crib was fairly simple to assemble, and I put it together myself. However, some of the bolts were a little skewed when screwed in because the holes didn't line up perfectly, see photos. I was worried that the wood would split when tightening these bolts, but gladly it didn't. Overall the paint is good, although there are a few areas where the paint is missing. In my case, these bolts are near the bottom of the crib, so I really wasn't worried about this issue (added a photo to show). Once the bolts are all tightened it's very sturdy. Before buying any fitted sheets I made sure I knew how thick the mattress was. Many cot sheets are only 12mm thick and would definitely not fit this mattress. I bought a 15mm fitted sheet and it was just the right size. I set the base at the lowest point as my grandson is 18 months old and is ready to try and crawl out if given the chance. With the base set at the bottom there is about 12cm of headroom under the base so you should be able to find some storage boxes that can slide underneath for storage if needed. Not sure if this will ever be used as a bed but I will update this review if it is.

For firm, poor mattressesThe cot feels sturdy and is well priced. It was easy for my partner to fit. I like the simple look of it and the fact that it can be used as a cot later and has three adjustable height levels. My only complaint is the mattress. Although waterproof, it is a little small for the cot and one end does not fit completely, resulting in a gap between the cot and the mattress: the thickness is not suitable for me based on the guidance of the Lullaby Trust. I agree with other reviews and will look for a better quality mattress for my baby.

This is a cute crib.This is a lovely crib, it was easy to assemble and my baby sleeps very comfortably in it. Bought this when he got a little older and he thinks it is a big toy haha. It is sturdy even for his energetic baby. Delivery was on time, the only thing I was not happy with was that one of the guardrails was wobbly, it must have been a calculation error during production, but it didn't really affect anything so we didn't contact the supplier. All in all, we are very happy with the product and I would recommend it.

A very happy kid!It's a bit thin, so it might not be comfortable on hard floors, but it's fine on soft carpet. My baby said his bed was "fluffy and soft", and the bedside was comfortable and secure. It can be folded up for storage when traveling, which is a big plus! It's very easy to fold and reassemble. I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's so thin, I'm not sure how breathable it is (I suspect it's not very good), and the folding part could use an additional fixing device, such as a zipper or clip. It's not perfect, but overall I'm very satisfied!

The bed was great, even for a kidused this product when I took my baby camping. He was technically too young to sleep in the bed, but I knew I would be next to him and able to keep an eye on him. I wanted something that would stop me rolling over him in the night. He is 7 months old and on our first night sleeping under the canvas he slept soundly from 6pm to 6am and didn't even wake up for a feed! I love this bed and apparently so does he. He can crawl over the sides so this isn't ideal for unsupervised use but as he gets older this will be great for sleepovers etc. The base is thick and honestly would be comfortable enough for an adult (I tried!) but unfortunately too short. Folds up like a suitcase which is huge but easy to carry and very practical. It comes compressed and I was worried it would take a while to unzip but I was using it within 4 hours of receiving it. 5 stars.

The best value bed I've foundEasy to assemble and good quality. My daughter loves it. She likes the sides and thinks it will be comfortable. The sides also block drafts. The mattress is OK...I think it might be a little uncomfortable for two or three nights in a row, but I haven't tried it yet. It's a bit bulky and takes up a lot of space in the trunk. We use it for weekends away and when we go to friends' houses. My daughter is 2 and a half, so I think it should be fine until she's about 4 years old, it's quite long.

Very convenient, safe and comfortableWe bought this to put downstairs so that our baby has a safe sleeping space during the day. It gets regular use and looks great. There is plenty of room inside and it easily accommodates our baby and will last a long time. It is soft and our baby sleeps well in it and is definitely comfortable. It is easy to transport if you need a cot for a sleepover elsewhere. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend.

Big and simple.Bought to replace our previous travel cot which was so dirty it couldn't be put together - this replacement cot is so cute! The elephant design on the travel cot is so adorable and not only is it cute but it's also practical. It's a little bigger than we thought but it turned out all the better - plenty of room for baby to play and get baby to sleep when we're out at night. It's a long travel cot with plenty of room for baby to play and play comfortably and comes with a temporary mattress which saves you the expense of buying a whole new mattress for a travel cot when you're running low on funds - our baby never liked a cot or travel cot - but he loves this one as both a playpen and a place to sleep. It's easy to store and fold up when not in use and comes with a bag to store the travel cot - a thoughtful touch too as many other cots don't come with a bag and just a way to fold and stay closed. It's super easy to clean and from my baby's reaction it looks really cosy and warm. It was easy to put together too as the instructions are right on the bottom of the travel cot – travel cots can sometimes be tricky to put together but this one comes with all the necessary instructions and it’s easy to do by just pulling the sides first and then the middle.

Affordable price and excellent quality.I ordered this for a guest traveling with a young child. When it arrived, we thought it would be of little use considering how small the box was. We were totally wrong! It's the perfect size, very sturdy, easy to load and unload, and packs into a very neat and convenient bag. We were so impressed that we are considering buying another one for my daughter's home.

Follow the instructionsGreat product, takes seconds to attach and detach (just follow the instructions!) - on the back of the mattress. We didn't follow the instructions at first and the sides wouldn't hold up! Then we tried it again according to the instructions and voila... perfect! The mattress wasn't meant to be used long term, but we decided to buy the one recommended to go with the crib and are very happy with the result. Our grandson slept in it for the first time - no complaints, the crib feels very sturdy and secure
