It can be quite hard to put pin in hole if you have weak musselsIts very well made and heavy good size and does its job l use it as a screen.for.my classic car which is under a car port and acts as a barrier against sea sand wind blown dust on 2 sides l had a single one for many years but finally gave up the ghost. This one is much better in strength and higher the only thing for me as l have arthritus in my hands its hard to get the pole into the pin to connect but for my son its easy. Good.product.

lovely, long side does not stay tight on the topI love it as it protects my adult trike and hot sun from side of house. It also blocks out the water, PG&E 'stuff' from the neighbors view. Great for both of us accept for the buckling. the company was very patient with me when I could not open the package and did not know if it would work for me.
This the the first they know about this problem. It happened within 1 month after being installed.Posted on

Privacy for our patio/driveway!Our driveway is our patio in the summertime. In order to fit both of our cars in the driveway in the winter, we cannot install a fence. We did not want to drill anything into our driveway/fence post. We needed this to be portable so we could remove in the winter. Using other people’s reviews somehow we came up with this. It is not perfect! Materials needed: Saw, Gorilla Max Strength Construction Adhesive, pavers, wood, drill, wrench. We cut the wood & then glued together and next drilled the holes. Hammered the nails it came with into the wood, sometimes we had to use the wrench to screw them in. Next, we glued the wood piece to the concrete. The issue we have is our driveway is not level but somehow it is working. This likely would not withstand heavy wind. We live in a coastal city with a lot of wind, so we will close when we aren’t using it. There were a lot of hiccups with the project (we aren’t very handy people) but somehow it is working! Eventually we will paint the wood!

Happy about the purchasePurchased this shade for my patio because I need privacy from my neighbors. I purchased 2 shades to enclose my patio and mounted them into 2x4 studs. I painted them gray to match the aluminum. I am satisfied thus far.

We love it!Works great for our patio to hide out hot tub from neighbor’s view when we are in it. We did as others have done and attached them to stone instead of in to it concrete patio so that it is less permanent.

This screen saved our summerOur neighbor's house is being torn down and a huge new house is going up. We put up this screen so that we wouldn't be looking at that mess (the view from our family room looks right out at the patio, the backyard, and that property) and wouldn't have the construction workers looking at us all summer long. The screen went up quickly and does exactly what we wanted. And the fact that it retracts easily is great for when its windy or when the construction halts.

So far so goodFeels very sturdy. We've held it up and opened it up. Not bad.Will update once we have it installed. We are installing it into soil and i'll update if thats possible. May have to go with the paving stone idea in the top review.Holes are 10mm (milimeters) wide on the base plates. I tried asking this question and nobody answered so there it is :)

Great privacy screen made movableI thought I'd share how I took this item and made it movable so that it wasn't permanently fixed in one location. I bought slightly shorter lag screws to use in heavy patio paver blocks that are 2-7/8" thick. The main screen unit is affixed to a 16x24 block and the two end posts are affixed to 16x16 blocks. It's sturdy enough for winds up to 10 mph, but I wouldn't use it in anything stronger than that. We're very happy with the setup, and now we can lay out next to the pool with as much or as little as we care to wear without the neighbors watching on.

Keeps my creepy neighbor from getting a good look at my deck!Where has this been all my life!?!? Finally I can go outside and enjoy my deck without my creep neighbor staring at us. Easy to open and close. Make sure you install with the bolts provided.

It blocked the view of the street and neighbors off..It was easy to install. We installed it at a right angel on a deck blocking off the street..We installed the corner post, then the right side. It worked great, just pulled it to the center at an angle and then locked it in place. When we install the left side post and got ready to pull the screen out. I noticed the screen was installed upside down making it a little harder to pull out. Since it was a short side and we were going to leave it out , we just took care on pulling it out and locked it in place... It all worked great and did what we wanted...

I switched screws. Went with smaller ones for the sake of the deck.Loved it ! Really good material only wished it was a little longer but it did its job for wanting privacy from the neighbors.You might want some help putting it up. I did mines all by myself but it took so much time balancing it off right. I recommend you to keep it closed for when your not using it or needing the privacy only because of the height and material it could pick up some wind and you dont want to chance that.
