Nice sound and feelMy son loves his piano and it being so portable has been great. It has a good sound and he says the keys feel nice too. Easy to put in the boot and take away with us.

Great sound and key weighting really helpsWe had ordered a different model which folds smaller but the sound was dreadful and keys weren’t weighted.
This product was totally different, daughter loves it and it came on holiday in the car, so she could still practice. Great sound and quality.Posted on

Piano keyboardOrdered the GYmax keyboard however received another brand, Costway. As I am a beginner it is fine for what I want. Sound quality could be better when pressing keys also the digital screen could do with being bigger to make it easier to find and use all the other sounds, tones etc.

Great for beginnersThere are a few negative comments around the sound quality, which I noticed the first time I used it. However on subsequent uses this was not evident so you get used to a slightly different sound to a traditional piano. You are not going to get grand piano sound at this price. Fully satisfied except for one aspect. This (as with all similar folding keyboards) is powered by a rechargeable battery, and it could do with some sort of gauge in the small window to show how much charge remains at any time. That is my only negative. Overall good value and ideal for learning to play.

bluetooth midi not working great, but you can connect via usblove how the piano can be played wirelessly, doesn't require to be plugged in and works - folds so it's portable, the keys feel great to touch. it has midi connector, it said bluetooth, but this doesn't work with my laptop to wirelessly input midi for some reason, I can use a USB to cover it, but wireless working would have been awesome.
still, it works and I can use it like I intended to, so thanks for a great priced piano.Posted on

The only thing that annoys me is the sustain: it does not fade away gradually, but you can hear how it cuts the sound after a while, if you let a key or the pedal pressed. But it is fairly good, overall.

Him indoors was happyPurchased this for my partner as a Christmas present as he wanted a roll up keyboard due to the lack of space in the house for a piano. After many hours of research of the roll ups, I came across this which I felt was more in keeping with a full keyboard. It is sturdy and easy to carry around. The only downside is the flimsy mains cable that is far too short and broke after the 2nd use. Would still recommend.

It's okaySo, today I got this device and I'm going to write a review that I wished I had before getting it.
My expectations and what it actually is:
1) Decent quality of the sound (I'm playing piano for years so I could easily feel the difference in an electronic piano). ---> The deeper sound (left side keys) sounds very bad (very electronic and not like actual piano at all). But! if you use very good headphones ( mine are : Audio-Technica M40x Professional Studio Headphones) or I guess better speakers than the ones that the device already has, the sound is waaay better...it becomes decent.
2) Texture and keys feel like (almost) real piano. I didn't want very soft ones. ----> The keys are actually pretty good, the texture is great and they feel almost like actual piano's ones.
3) To have good sensitivity --> It has.
4) To sound good with the pedal. ---> It sounds okay but after a point the pedal distorts the sound very much and sometimes (depends how much you press the keys), it makes the sound very loud and distorted.
5) Lastly, I was worried for the keys' dimensions (as they are by 0,2cm smaller than an actual piano's). -->That's not problem at all.
6) Portability. ----> it's very easy to take it wherever you want as it's very light.
Overall: I wasn't looking for the perfect portable/foldable piano as there are not many with this price (or at least their quality doesn't differ much), but I was trying to find the best. That's my first one so I can't tell if it's the best.... I can say that it's okay but I would really recommend to get good headphones or speakers as the sound quality is not the best because of the device's speakers.
(one more thing to mention..the cable provided is very short - around 80cm.. so wherever you plug it, you have to have the device very close to the plug)Posted on
