Nice looking shades.Good quality shades and easy to fit. These come with the pendants and so you will need to be able to swap these over. They are not too big and the pendant length is adjustable; we have low ceilings (bungalow) so we shortened them right up.

Great bamboo light shadeAfter looking for a long time for the right light for this room, I took a chance on this one knowing it had the free return option. Super happy with it. Looks great in the space and emits such a lovely pattern and glow on a night. I didn't use the black fitting that came with it as already had this aged brass one from Dunhelm mill which I preferred.

Best lamps - absolute value for moneyAfter spending countless hours online trying to find the bamboo lamp shades which works for my living room, I finally managed to get these and I am absolutely ecstatic with the purchase. Just these lamp alone have added so much character to the living room and now it all comes together.
BTW I had similar challenges which others have mentioned in their reviews. The light fitting that comes with it; doesn't fit / work on UK electric fixtures. To get around it, I just bought bigger size pendant light with a thick diameter for £3 and used as just lamp shades without the electric fittings. Standard pendant fitting was a bit too small so had to get bigger mouth for the the bigger hole :) A bit of hassle but it's totally worth it.Posted on

appealingit really looks fancy! when i bought this, i bought a different pendant lamp from IKEA also but this looks 10 times better than that. i want to buy another one but it's a bit pricey, i'll wait to see if it goes on sale. :)

Lovely shade but mechanism doesn’t fitI am returning this product, although the shade is very lovely and well made. Unfortunately it comes with a hanging mechanism which does not sit standard U.K. pendant lights which I find somewhat ridiculous.
They include a new oversized ceiling pendant with the shade so you can remove your existing pendant and wire the new (black) one in. This requires an electrician if you are not familiar with wiring.
I just wanted a shade, not an electrical project.Posted on
