The package measures approximately 4 feet x 4 feet 5 inches deep (approximately!). It was easy to assemble, requiring no tools; it took me a minute to figure out the clips/straps needed to attach the legs before standing the chair upright. The instructions are very simple, with only three pictures and no text, which honestly doesn't make much sense, but with the chair, two pairs of legs, and a crossbar, even I figured it out without a hitch. Assembly took five minutes, and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the fabric felt and how comfortable the chair was. I assembled it yesterday afternoon and slept soundly in it a few hours later before bed! It feels well-made, sturdy, yet lightweight. I think it's a good value for the price, and I recommend it as a comfortable chair for relaxing in front of the Tele. I do wish I had bought the one with a footstool, so if you like to put your feet up (which you undoubtedly will after sitting in it), I recommend getting one with one.
