so cute!I've been wanting to buy my two-year-old grandson a toy kitchen. He especially loves playing with toy food and pots and pans, so I thought it was time to get him one. I looked at a lot of plastic ones, but the reviews weren't very good, and to be honest, I was getting a bit tired of the plastic feel. I also looked at all the reviews I could find for wooden kitchens, but most of them were quite expensive, and some were for older children (and he's only two and quite small). Finally, I decided to try this one, and it was such a pleasant surprise! First of all, it was super easy to assemble. The instructions were very clear, and all the parts were neatly packaged. All the parts were wrapped in packaging paper to prevent damage during shipping, and the screws were in small, labeled bags. The only place you need an extra screwdriver is to open the battery compartment. Secondly, although it's made of lightweight wood, it's very sturdy and durable. It comes with accessories to attach it to the wall (which is great because I was a little worried his little brother might pull it and knock the whole toy over). And, it's just so cute (see picture). Seriously, it's even cuter in person than in the photos. The little apron and hat were an extra bonus. It also comes with some realistic food (we had plenty, so I didn't pay much attention), cutlery, pots and pans, ice cubes for the ice maker, plates…it's just too cute! My favorite thing is that it's height-adjustable. You can remove the legs (which we did because it's so small), or you can attach the legs and adjust it to two different heights. I love that it can grow with him so we can use it for a long time. The only downside for us is that we placed it between our wooden and slate floors, so the surface is a little uneven, which is why you see a white foam pad underneath one side. This is a problem with where we placed it. The product itself is not flat at all!! We have limited wall space in our kitchen/dining area. This kitchen is super cute, highly recommended!
