For my cats in the sunI have two cats, a Main Coone and a British Shorthair and wanted to give them another option to shelter from sun in the garden and get them off the floor too, making hopefully a more pleasant environment for them. They are house cats but we let them in the garden. I put this together in my lunch hour and it was fairly straight forward though I did struggle a couple of times as the instructions as usual aren't super clear, but maybe that's me. Once up the next question is are they going to use it. The Main Coone was on it within 12 hours and also stretches out underneath it. My British Shorthair took a few more days but with new things he usually takes ages, like months to 'discover' them., so the fact he was using it in a few days is a bit impressive. I guess it depends on the angle and the positioning as to how effective it is to shade from the sun but it's easy enough to move around the garden. Happy to recommend this for cats :-)

Great for big catsBought this for our Mainecoon as he loves to lie in the garden, but gets too hot!;The roof isn’t as deep as the last one we had, but we can peg his blanket to the top.;Great pet bed, and has Reggie’s approval.

Very comfortable for your poochWe didn't actually get this for outside. We just wanted something larger for our little Cairn terrier to rest on. He absolutely loves it. We call it his penthouse suite as it's off the floor. Will obviously use it outside next summer. I can fully recommend this.

DOG DOESN'T LIKE IT.Sadly my daft dog doesn't like this. I keep hoping he will get on it. I've even removed the canopy but he eyes it with suspicion. Maybe one day!

Comfy waterproof and stableWas fun and quite simple to assemble without instructions, being blind and not able to read them.
Wouldn't take it to beach or anything as takes too long to assemble and doesn't fold

GreatMy dogs love sitting outside on this bed and it’s fits my other dog too, so 3 pups in total.
The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because one of the pups has managed to chew all 4 corners so that the sun shield is now completely loose. I wish that the hooks for the sun shield were made of something a little stronger or built in to the bed. Obviously it’s not the sellers fault that my dogs have managed to chew the bed, I’m just disappointed that it hasn’t last that long in its original condition.Posted on

Does not give enough shadeOnly thing going for this is that it's easy to put together, very sturdy and the dog loves it. When it comes to shading not fit for purpose unless your using it for a kitten. The canopy does not come down low enough to shade the whole base, so the sun gets in on all four sides, only a small amount in the middle is shaded. We have resorted to covering it over with a white single sheet which does the trick. We purchased the largest size for a Bishon which has ample space for him to sprawl out on. Would have returned it had it if I could get him out of it. Bit pricy considering we have had to make alterations to it, so that it fits it's purpose.

Good qualityAs you can see by the pics my dog loves it, and it will go out in the garden during the day, as Biscuit does like too lay outside, so hopefully this will keep him cool, nice n sturdy, easy enough to put together, great value for your money

Good Value butGood price, the sun/rain shade is hard to connect, really beeds 2 people and within 2 days the connector had become slack. But for the money it is decent. Wehn not in use it has a tendency to twist out of shape, but seems to go back ok and once on its feet it seems to stay in shape.

Keep pet off hot groundI like the size and sturdiness of the base. The canopy was not easy to follow the directions on how to put it together and it was hard to pull the corners down. Doesn’t really give the dog much shade depending on where the sun is but my pet enjoys it very much

Not enough shadeThe product was described as an XL dog bed and I thought the bed was ok but my dog is a Golden Retriever and she barely fits on the bed. As far as the canopy goes, it really is worthless. It doesn't really keep out much of the sun and it's very low, so a big dog would have trouble getting in and out of the bed; my dog does have trouble. She has to keep her head down both getting in and out of the bed.

Perfect for Dachshund!It was way bigger then I was expecting, so it’s a bit of a hassle moving from place to place because I don’t like to break it all down. BUT my miniature dachshund absolutely loves this thing. It’s perfect for her to lay out in the sun without getting all dirty in the mud or uncomfortable in the dry grass. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made!

East to assemble and a good size , the canopy gives some shelter from rain and shade from the sun . Many time I’ve looked in the garden and there he is lounging the day away.

A must have for a pampered pooch!Surprised by the quality of this product! Fabric is very sturdy. Especially love the way the canopy is firmly secured to the bed frame. Very impressed. I use this basically during the summer months for shade for my Cavalier King Charles. I also use a cooling pad for additional comfort.

Great outdoor dog bed for my labrador retrieverI bought this elevated dog bed at the beginning of summer for my labrador retriever. I needed something with a canopy so that she is shaded from the sun when it is warm outside. This dog bed has served us well these past few months. It still looks brand new, even though it has been heavily used by our dog all summer. It is made of a heavy mesh material which is made for your dog's comfort, and has sturdy iron tubes for the base of the bed. The bed is elevated and can accommodate large dogs without any problems. My dog is over 60lbs, and it holds her very well. The breathable mesh material keeps her nice and cool, and the removable canopy keeps her out of the sun. I recently found out during a rainstorm that it also blocks my dog from getting wet in the rain and the bed itself is also completely waterproof. This elevated dog bed was very easy to assemble within a few minutes without any tools. The feet are anti-skid, so it doesn't slide on whatever surface it sits on. This dog bed would also work well indoors, since it is very lightweight and easy to move from room to room. It is very easy to clean, since we just wash it with our outdoor garden hose. We have two labrador retrievers, and since they both fight over this elevated bed...it looks like I will be purchasing another one soon. Great quality dog bed that is worth every penny!

Love this indoors and outdoors!!Our dogs love this bed! We actually bought two. We use it in the house but love that it has a canopy so we can use it by the pool so they can get out of the sun and also able to get their feet off the hot decking.

easy set upMy daughter and I set this up in about 5 minutes! I have a mini golden doodle and this is the perfect size for her. The legs do sink in the sand when I take it to the beach but I put a small blanket underneath and it helps.

Get the biggest size for your dog,If she s a pit bull.It was a breeze in putting it together. My dog loves it,the only down side to it is,its very light weight and the lines that connects to the base pops off alot and your dog may even chew on it and it won t be any gd to use anymore. But over all it's cute an comfy for her. She always on it.

Love the bed but wish it provided more shade.I got this for our elderly cat so he can nap on our deck. He does use it but the canopy is smaller than the bed so it does not provide adequate shade or keep the rain out. He likes to go out even if it is sprinkling but the canopy does not provide enough shelter. THe bed it great, do not get me wrong just wish it was designed a little better

Is light weight, easy to put togetherIs light weight, easy to put together and take apart for traveling. We have 2 dogs,a German Shepherd and a English bulldog and the aee noth able to lay on the cot together at the same time. Also easy to clean and disinfect when needed.

Enjoying it so far!I was very happy with this product. It was easy to put together- easier than I thought it would be - and the canopy can be on or off. I have the bed on the patio but will move it out to the pool deck if we’re sitting out there so the dog has his own space. For that reason I don’t have the canopy on all the time but it’s a nice option if it’s out in the sun. I haven’t had it for a long time yet but so far it seems durable and cleans easily.

Very sturdy and usefulI was surprised by the quality of this product. Fabric is very sturdy and cool. I don’t need to worry about this under the rain because it dries super quick. I put this in my backyard so my dog can play with his toys under the canopy. This is mainly use during the summer time as shade of my little boy. Quality is great.
