Did not collapse.Has a tendency to fold up on you if you lean forward, but otherwise a serviceable and comfortable rocking chair which is indeed more portable than a non-folding option. The awning is a nice feature!

Repeat Purchase!This is my second one! I got this same chair as a gift for my birthday 4 years ago and loved it! I used it all the time and it took a beating and finally gave up and I had to order a new one. I didn't hesitate to order the exact same one in a different color. The chair is well made and sturdy, it's very comfortable for my aching back and it rocks, which is always a plus! There will always be one of these chairs on my patio now that I've found these!

NiceGreat chair but just a tad short in the seat. It ALMOST feels like sitting on the edge instead of completely in the seat. Rocks well, the canopy can be up or laying down the back and works pretty well to keep the sun off the upper body depending on the way the chair is facing.

Perfect value for us in size and shape.Love the chair and the canopy. It's fairly comfortable and keeps the sun off the top of of my head. I wish there were a tray table to attach to it for a beverage and my phone.

Good quality chair but awkward rocking motionVery nice chair. Seat sits slanted alittle too far back (similar to aderondak (sp?), but not as bad. Seat is just a little low, but added a 2 inch cushion and it is good. Rocks forward instead of backward. In order to rock, you actually have to pull your body forward. Not a relaxing feelinf. Canvas is high quality.

Easy to set up and easy to store rocking chair for the front porch.I've been trying to decide between a wooden and a folding rocking chair. Our house has a wraparound porch and my wife wanted a rocking chair for the front section. I knew that if I got a wooden one, I would have to be refinishing it every year because we would never put it away for the winter. This one you just lift up and fold, and I can throw it in the garage or shed for storage during the cold season. The chair is quite comfortable with a pillow incorporated into the back. It has a foldaway sunshade which is unnecessary on our porch since it's covered, but will be very useful when we take the chair to the beach or the park. The fabric of the chair is suspended on the frame using bungee cord type material which gives it some motion and "give" when you sit in it. Obviously it's always fun to rock in a rocking chair, and this one's no exception. It's very lightweight so moving it from place to place is easy. It'll fit in the trunk of the car if we want to take it out with us. The construction and materials seem high quality and I would expect this chair is going to last quite some time if properly cared for.

Comfortable chairsUsed for sitting outside for hours on gravel the high back of the this support my head and the slight recline is extremely comfortable for long hour of siting the rocking feature works amazing on concrete and actually work well on gravel as well unlike most the rockers I looked at this one does not have the bar under you leg to cause any issues which make this chair even more comfortable over all

Definitely 5 starsI Absolutely love this new chair, so comfortable and nice to rock in while I am having a cigarette and playing my games, there's only one tiny issue I have with it but it's no biggie, the plastic clamps on the back of the chair does not hold the sun shade locked in place but like I said "No Biggie", I would recommend this to anyone I know that is looking for this kind of chair..
