Love the storage size, price, and it works wellGreat price; love how compact it is. I made the round shape with baking paper, leaving enough space inside and outside for air circulation, and it worked well for "aubergine bacon" and drying banana slices. So far, so good. And it's not as noisy as I would have liked for a machine of this size. All in all, I'm very happy with it - especially the small size, which is a real plus.

Great budget choice.For the price, I have nothing to complain about this dehydrator. It works as advertised and is relatively quiet when running. The trays are a little flimsy but as long as you don't use them as ninja darts, they should last a long time, haha. My only complaint is that the beeping is super loud when you adjust the time/temperature, so don't try to start it when the baby is sleeping in the same room, otherwise it's a great product and deserves 5 stars! Value for money: I found this to be one of the cheapest options as I only need it on occasion and it works great. Ease of use: You don't even need a manual to use it, everything is self-explanatory. (There are guides for different foods in the manual which is handy) Speed: This is my first dehydrator but it works great, that being said, it doesn't seem to be as fast as other options but as one of the cheaper options you shouldn't expect it to be fast. The fan seems to be weak but the temperature seems to stay steady.

Spacious 12 Tray Food Dehydrator!!!This is a very nice food dehydrator with a spacious interior and 12 trays for drying fruits and food. This was our first time trying dehydration so the 10 digital presets were very useful for beginners like us. It also comes with a surprisingly clear instruction manual in English and a recipe book covering a variety of fruits and meats. We just tried dehydrating strawberries and the results were as expected. See the attached photos. One thing to note: don't cut the fruits too thinly as they will easily stick to the tray mesh after drying and will be difficult to remove.

Great dehydrator for beginnersused this compact space-saving dehydrator to make meat jerky and found it easy to use, the buttons are clear at a glance, the shelves rotate easily, the drying process is even, and there are two adjustable heights depending on the ingredients being dried. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the shelves are wire, which makes cleaning a bit more convenient. I ended up buying silicone mats and cutting them to size, which makes cleaning quicker and easier. I like that it has a good drying capacity and is lightweight.

Very fresh and healthyThis dehydrator is lightweight and durable. I like the smooth texture and the easy opening and closing of the door. The stainless steel layer is very sturdy and easy to clean. This dehydrator is perfect for dehydrating fruit and all kinds of food. I like the digital screen display so I can see the temperature and keep track. It is really efficient and works well, especially for dehydrating fruit, which is very fresh, smells good, and is healthy without any added ingredients. This dehydrator can also be used for many other products. Using natural air drying to dehydrate can save a lot of time. I like that there are places on both sides to safely take the dehydrator. This is a great device for home cooks.It is particularly suitable for cutting very thin slices of fruits and vegetables. It is suitable for small amounts of family food, but not suitable for cutting large amounts of food at one time.

Love it! Very easy to use and clean. Very quiet considering it's just a "kitchen appliance". I bought some dryer sheets and cut them to size for dehydrating fresh herbs. Otherwise the herbs would fall out of the trays as they dry. I used this tray to dehydrate lemons directly. Very easy to clean. All 5 trays can be stacked. Plenty of space for air circulation. This is my first purchase from this brand and I'm very satisfied. I've only used it a few times so I can't comment on durability.

I like to use it to make yogurtStreamlined design, long heat retention, low noise. I use it primarily for making yogurt. I remove all but the bottom rack and make a yogurt that needs to ferment for 36 hours at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Most yogurt makers can't get that low, but this one is easy to operate. It easily fits two one-quart mason jars and a couple of smaller ones. I'm sure it would fit four one-quart mason jars with plenty of room for air circulation.

Say goodbye to microplasticsI bought this because we currently make our own jerky and most oven racks I could find had plastic grates. The stainless steel grates that come with this oven are easy to clean and I just threw them in the dishwasher when I was done and they came out clean. The machine itself runs very efficiently, can close the door to keep the temperature consistent throughout the cooking process, and is fairly quiet when running. We just made our second batch of jerky with it and it has done exactly what we expected.

Absolutely stunningWow, this dehydrator is amazing! I have been dehydrating herbs and apples for years and have always used a small plastic dehydrator. However, I am now looking to get rid of the plastic dehydrators and this one has replaced the three I had previously used. It is amazing, easy to operate, easy to set up, and performs well. It has a large capacity and the temperature control is very intuitive. I highly recommend it.

Love it!love it! I've only used it to dry herbs so far, but I love it! It's small and fits nicely on the countertop, and since it's black and grey, it looks pretty on the countertop. I still tuck it away when not in use, but at least it's not that cheap gaudy white. It's quiet and dries things pretty fast in my opinion. Only minor complaint is that I wish it would fit better when unfolded. It's a little tricky to get the tray in the right position. But all in all, I think it's definitely worth the money.

Good size and I like the metal rackNot sure how good this one will be yet. Instructions and recipes need more detailed information. I washed and ran it for 30 minutes as instructed. Used it for jerky for the first time. Recipe doesn't say what setting you should use. Raw or fast. When you try to set a specific time for fast, the dehydrator will only run for 10 hours. Raw then 24 hours. No alarm. So you have to set it for fast 10 hours or raw 24 hours and then keep checking the food. I want something with more options but many dehydrators don't have metal racks. This one does. It's fairly quiet. You can hear the fan. Recipes look good. Good size for countertop and storage, not heavy. 7 metal racks plus tray for special ingredients. I've used this dehydrator once to make chicken dog treats. The fast setting took about 4 hours. Worked great. I think the biggest issue with this product is the lack of detailed instructions on how to use the settings and no setting information in the recipes. Otherwise, I think we would use the dehydrator a lot.

Impressively quiet!Heavier than I thought, mostly because of the trays, which are very sturdy. Comes with a silicone tray mat and "heat pad". Looking through the owner's manual now, but I can't wait to use it. It's quiet (and not at all like the hair dryers I used to use - you know, the $39 ones!). Heats up very quickly, went from 12 hours to 30 minutes! (Need to turn it off to get it back on, and can't find a way to get it back on after it's past target time. I have 20+ pounds of apples and have to preheat it a few times to get it "acclimated" before putting them in. Can't wait!

This is more for some small hobbiesThis machine is great if you are dealing with small batches, like 3 trays or less. If you want a dehydrator for a small hobby like crafting, this machine is a good choice. If you want it to deal with medium to large batches of items, then choose something else. It seems too small for the number of trays it comes with.

A great tool for preserving fruits and vegetablesVery good machine, especially for gardeners. The problem is that persimmons ripen at the same time as other tree fruits. Drying them is nice, but not possible outdoors in the sun. I have dried apples, persimmons and some other fruits, easy and efficient. The instructions for using the machine are simple, including how to set it up, etc. Not loud, just like the air filter is running. The trays are easy to clean, especially with high sugar fruits. Not messy at all. The airflow is very even from the top to the bottom and from the front to the back of the tray. All the fruit dries at the same speed, no need for a lot of rotation like some plastic round dryers. In the case of persimmons, just cut into 3/8 to 1/2 thick slices, package them like tubes and put them in the refrigerator after drying. Have been using persimmons for bread or just snacking.

Very good dehydrator.The first one arrived with a dent in the door. It wasn't a big dent, but since it was going to be on the counter, my wife decided to return it for a new one. The whole process went very smoothly and we received a brand new, undamaged dehydrator the next day. We immediately cleaned the racks and started dehydrating fruit. It has been dehydrating for 4 days straight with no issues. This dehydrator has been great so far. It's quiet and holds a lot of fruit. We sliced and dried 16 good sized apples and still have room to spare. Hopefully this dehydrator will last a long time. We'll see.

I recommend, great product!had never used a dehydrator before purchasing this, but I wish I had known about them sooner! I mainly use it to make treats for my dog because I noticed that most of the healthier treats only had one ingredient: chicken, salmon, or beef, so I wanted to try making them at home, which is both delicious and super easy. Plus, you can't really complain about it not having any fancy features, especially since it's so inexpensive compared to other dehydrators on the market. I'll probably upgrade eventually because one thing I wish it had was a timer feature (which can be easily fixed if you have an outlet timer). I think all in all, this dehydrator is a great addition for someone who only needs to dehydrate occasionally.

Homemade delicious mealsThis has been such a positive change! Never used a dehydrator before but now highly recommend it to every family. I'm a jerky lover and I've used this one for my jerky so far. It's quiet, light, easy to use, and oh my goodness, it turns out delicious. Why spend so much money on store bought jerky when you can make your own with your favorite spices? And don't just buy jerky, be sure to buy some low fat hamburger meat and make your own strips. Just let your imagination run wild. Remember to bring a towel or napkin to wipe your mouth and think about the deliciousness of your own handmade food!

Very worth it!This is my favorite new appliance. I have made at least 10 batches of apple, pineapple, mango, and strawberry slices. The first batch was my experiment with temperature, time, and how thin to slice the fruit. I found that apples sliced 1/8" thick and set to the fruit function for 1 hour worked best. I could eat a whole batch in a day, they were so delicious! Pineapple I sliced into slightly thicker 1/4" half rounds and used the fruit function for 2 hours. They were chewier and not like chips, but I think they are even better than fresh cut fruit. Mango I sliced very thin and accidentally over-dehydrated on the regular fruit function without making any adjustments. I think I will grind them into powder. Strawberries I sliced into 1/8" slices and cooked on the regular fruit function. They were also very crisp, but also made a great strawberry powder. Update June 20: My herbs are growing crazy, so it's time to use the dehydrator!!! Basil: set to 115F and dehydrate for 18 hours. Yes, it's a long time, but once dehydrated they are perfect for grinding. I made another batch to use in my own spice blend! Chives: Same as basil, just pull them a few hours ahead of time depending on how big you cut them. I cut my chives into 2 inch segments. Oregano: Also set to 115 degrees Fahrenheit, but only dehydrated for 6-8 hours and it was perfect. I'll be testing the dehydration process with a lot of veggies from my garden this summer. I'll update with results after some trial and error!

little more filling please!The packaging could be improved. There is foam on the top and bottom of the machine, but not on the sides. The box looked nice, but after unpacking it, there was a large dent on the entire side of the right front door of the machine, and the glass had fallen off from the impact. We wanted to use it immediately, and the rest of the packaging was intact and well assembled, so we would not return it. So, we used a mallet, some clamps, and food grade epoxy. In less than an hour, everything was back to normal, and the electronics were unharmed. I would still recommend this machine, as it is by far the best size and power for the price.
