Easy to assemble, tools not neededEasy to put together and looks great. Not the best quality but definitely functional and can't complain for the price paid. I don't think it is sturdy enough to stand alone in bad weather but I bought it to attach to a bench to hang lights on, so quite happy.

Looks better than expected, but has a weak pointI wasn't expecting this to be amazing, it was bought as a temporary fix. However, when covered in plants, it looks very good indeed. There is one minor weakness in the vertical stanchions, where they flex in the middle at the joint. I am considering strengthening this with a brace.

Assembly instructions lost it a starFor the money paid it is OK. Better than the round steel tube often used, this is a square cross section. Assembled on my own but found that I couldn’t get arc shaped braces to line up to uprights if built according to the instructions. This resulted in a gap between upright cross member and the lengthwise stretchers being the thickness of the square tube member. Overcome by putting braces between the cross members and the stretchers.
Will need to devise a better anchoring system as not enough metal in the ground so will use steel rods driven in the ground through the length of the ground anchors, resin them firm and continue steel rod up into legs of the arch.
Overall it is better than expected.Posted on

Perfect - exactly what I wanted !Firstly the assembly diagram was hard to see but took a photo to enlarge to make it easier to see. All the pieces were there and nothing missing. I made sure I was close to where it was going to placed for assembly as it's quite weighty. I did manage to place it insitu on my own but would have been easier with someone else. It is everything I was hoping it would be and goes well with a 2 seater metal bench I already had and I have created an arbour and already the climbing plants that were planted in June when I had fencing replaced are now twining around the bars after 2 days. The quality of The paint is good and should last for a good while. I feel this has been a good value purchase and I would easily recommend this !

Rust.Fairly easy to assemble but once done I found after a short rain fall, (two weeks on), that the screws had started to rust. I have also purchased a wax-oil spray for the inside of the box sections.

Worth the priceThis Arch is just right for where we wanted to place it in our yard. It is very light weight, but that is fine for what we want. If you want a heavier type arch, this is not the arch you would like. The Arch came packed very well and in perfect condition. It has a delicate design which I really like.

Nice item, lousy directions.Really beautiful arbor, seems sturdy. I like the anchors. The directions consist of a few tiny drawings, good luck with that, had to take it apart during assembly because it was not going together correctly. Not a great assembly experience, but would probably do it again just because it was a decent buy & is nice.

Beautiful and a nice support for the plantsI feel like you can never have enough arches or trellises for garden plants. I chose this to go over my cherry tomato area. It did take a little time to assemble as there are a lot of pieces. I had someone help me put it in place as that would be hard to do alone. It looks really nice and completely transforms the space, lending an air of elegance and sophistication. It won't take long for the tomato vines to climb up and really look like a magazine cut out.

Garden Trellis IffyInitially looked beautiful but the quality is flimsy and cheap. Paint was already flaking off and sides didn’t line up properly. Covered with flowers and made it through. Unfortunately it will not last.

RecommendI love the shape of this shelf. Came with good condition. It took me 25 minutes to install it by myself. It's easy to lay it flat when installing. Because our yard is the neighbor's wall, there is no very good decoration, we can only install a shelf, waiting for my beautiful climbing roses and clematis to grow on the shelf, which is also a good view. Good quality and reasonable price.

For me it's perfect.This is a great arbor for the price. It is very easy to assemble. It is tall (8ft). It's wide (8ft.) Stability could be improved on; Going to stake it down to stable it.

Nice! Worthy the money!I think It is better not to use as a freestanding unit. A little flimsy for that, unless you can really get the legs deep into the dirt. But it’s damn nice and BIG! I’m anchoring it to a shadowbox fence so it doesn’t go anywhere.

Beautiful looking archMy wife wanted this for our side gate entrance. She wanted to grow climbing roses on each side to create a flowery entrance. This arch turned out prettier than the pictures. She loves the design on the side panels. The assembly took me about 30 minutes. The instructions were tiny and could use a lot of work. But I enjoy putting together stuff and it was generally pretty straightforward. The top horizontal support bars were the tricky ones. There are two that are different than the rest. They connect to the side panels and he top ladder. I took photos of it so zoom if you need to see where the pieces go. One other tip is to Hand screw everything first. It’s generally pretty easy to tighten the bolt and nut with hand. This allows for some flexibility when you fit in other pieces. Once all the bolts are in, then tighten all the way. Overall it wasn’t too bad of an install. It stands tall and looks great. I’ll share most photos of the roses when they climb to the top.

Sturdy and lovely.FYI top cross bars are installed on top of the long bars. Otherwise it was a very easy assembly. It’s a great addition to our garden and I can’t wait for our wisteria to grow on it.

Good low priced archThe arch is not as sturdy as we expected. It said to read and follow all directions, but there were no written directions. The sketch for parts was so tiny it was very difficult to read. Not all the pieces were included.

The drawings showing how to assemble are very small but I worked it out with a little logic.Since I ordered this in the dead of winter I assembled the three sections on my living room floor and then carried the pieces down to the basement. The final assembly and install will happen when the ground thaws. I really like the style but the long legs on each side panel have a wobbly bit where they are joined halfway up. I intend to reinforce these with steel strips to brace the joint.

Very NICE arbor for the price!We bought two for our climbing roses. They seem to be a little less sturdy than we would like, but very nice product nonetheless. Price was great compared to similar items.you may wish to cross brace it in the back if you have heavy vines.Would definitely recommend this.

perfectPerfect! I am using as a entrance to my flower garden and bird sanctuary and my concrete squirrel bench. The price is fantastic! It was easy to put together, very sturdy and already I have roses climbing on mine! After I put it in my yard I went to the local hardware store and spotted several arbors a few dollars cheaper and a few dollars more that looked as sturdy as a coat hanger!

I really love this garden archThis garden arch is easy to assemble, I am not a young lady,but I was able to assemble and anchor this arch with no problems,I read the instructions and followed the picture tips,theb I used the screws to put them together, and used 4 ground Hole-Maker to be driven deep enough into the ground. They made the arch more sturdy. When I was trying to shake it hard, It was reasonably sturdy and steady.It only took me about 1 hour to finish it.The arch is well made. It has delicate lines and elegant scrollwork,The black arch perfectly matches my backyard.Also I think it has a perfect size and height. I am sure it is the perfect arch for my climbing roses and clematis. The design is simple but elegant.I especially like its lines and scrollwork，I can train them to grow through the arbor by weaving them in and out of the scrollwork as my climbing roses and clematis grow.This garden arch look great in my backyard,I look forward to the return of Spring,and watching roses and clematis climb to the arch and many flowers bloom.

GT3260I ordered this trellis from another online retailer and paid $30 more. Unfortunately, the trellis arrived missing several key pieces. I have contacted the company and am awaiting a response. In the future I will definitely buy directly from Costway. The trellis is really beautiful. Hopefully, it will soon be functional as well...once the company sends the missing pieces.
