Easy fixing and assembly and robustThis type of outdoor stairs is ideal for short lengths 2 step to 4 step. Robust, easy to put together and fix in our case a wooden platform. I shall buying a second 2 step type very soon.

A good value handrail that is suitable for light traffic areasA good value handrail that is suitable for light traffic areas. I would not use in a public or commercial area unless the rail was fixed securely to a vertical wall as well. There are no fittings supplied to do this however. The fixtures that are supplied worked well on our wood decking stairs. The result stands pretty firm and stable for it's intended use. It will help the family negotiate our steps more safely.

High quality, strong and safehave been looking for an extra handrail that can be installed on the other side of the staircase where there is just a plain wall and then a turn 3/4 of the way up. Currently you can only use the existing railing but the railing doesn't start working until after you have passed the bend on the way down so you don't have anything to hold onto. While this is fine for able bodied people it still feels a bit dangerous at times and when relatives come to visit there is simply not enough to hold onto if you get lost etc. This basically solves that problem as it is 6 feet long and can be extended over the bend of the staircase on the other side which gives a point to hold onto and then transition to the main railing The first impression of the handrail is great, it is made from tubular steel and finished in matte black. There are 3 connecting posts with 4 screw holes on each post so you can mount it securely to a brick wall. It comes with the screws and original plugs needed for installation so it's just a matter of aligning, marking and drilling the holes. I recommend screwing in one screw at one end first, adjusting the height to your needs, then raising it to the desired angle, marking the other holes at the other end, screwing in another screw and finally marking the holes in the middle. This ensures that all the holes are aligned. Overall, I am very happy with this armrest, and while it is expensive, it is well made and detailed. Considering it should last a lifetime and may even save a life, I think it is a good deal.

It looks good, but not great.Looks nice, but the screws will be a problem unless you're screwing into wood...they are sharp and designed to be screwed into wood. They have a hard time getting into thin log plugs. Average value for money.

Looks good, but difficult to assemble and installLooks good but was very difficult to line up the wall fittings, mark the wall and then attach to the wall. Just installed it yesterday so my mum can get up the stairs on her own when she comes. It works well as a grab bar for someone with limited mobility though.

Excellent product.This kit is great! The wood is knot-free and has a nice varnish. The brackets are sturdy and stylish, and the matte finish is pleasing to the eye. The screws and plugs are of good quality, and the kit includes an unusual diameter drill bit (2.3mm) for drilling pilot holes for the small screws that secure the rails and brackets. The instructions are clear and concise. It took me about two hours to install, and I'm 77 years old! - First-class work.

Sturdy handrailsI needed to install a handrail so that my wife (who has a broken leg and needs help getting into the house) could be safer. The bolts that hold the handrail to the wall/floor are very strong, and I didn't have enough tools, so I hired a professional to install the handrail.

Great product.ordered this for my mom and it comes as a complete set except for the tools. I noticed that the instructions say you need a 6mm drill bit but you really only need a drill bit that fits a 6mm anchor. Solid construction and easy to install.
