Such a fun toy for an active toddler! We bought this for our toddler for Christmas from Santa, and they love it. They frequently ask to get it out and love to create all sorts of different routes. It’s improved their balance through lots of practice. It’s also a super flexible toy for imaginative toddlers, it has been a race track, a swimming pool, a mote for a castle, anything! And importantly for me it packs away and can be stored in a cupboard easily. A great “big toy” for active toddlers or gymnasts that is flexible and storable. Good to note that it is quite bulky even when stored so if you don’t have a lot of storage this might not be the right option. The colours are lovely and a nice pale shade of pastels.

Got this for our son’s 4th birthday as he’s a huge fan of ‘floor is lava’ type games and they’ve been a huge success with both 4yo and his 1yo sibling.
There are so many pieces you can make a really big course using all of them or a couple of ‘islands’, as we have, with some still left over!
Love the primary colours as they’ve been great for colour recognition games as well as the mix between straight and curved pieces for shape recognition games. So many ways to use them and perfect to get them moving when they’re climbing the walls on a rainy day.
We haven’t used them outside yet but I definitely would in the summer. They’re plastic so pretty tough and I’m fairly sure mud would wipe right off.
We did have apprehensions about the grip as we have tile and wooden floors in the areas of intended use, but so far (after a month of use) we’ve had no slipping at all on either floor which has really exceeded our expectations.
The only two things worth noting:
1. They come without grippers attached. So make sure when you’re planning your set up you allow 20 minutes to stick all the grippy feet in. This only needs doing once. They’re pretty secure once in but could be removed if needed.
2. It’s massive. Seems obvious but seriously a consider a place to store it. It takes up a huge drawer and our biggest toy basket.
