Better for smaller yard or areaSimple enough product to assemble and use. It's not that heavy so getting down into the dirt doesn't really do well. more scratching of the surface unless you really push down on the roller. So using this on a smaller area makes more sense. Garden side area vs having for an entire yard (I have a smaller yard of only 7,100 sq ft) and this didn't really do that well.

digging deep is most important to meThis areator is light and the handle is not very rigid, but as you can see in the picture i removed the quard and slipped a 10# rubber plate so that it could dig deeper. Works like a champ now. I should give myself 5 stars!!!

Nice little aeratorIt's well made and a bargain at the price. Easy to assemble. It's a good follow-up step to the plug aerator.. another great tool for working the soil. I plan to use it in the Spring and Fall prior to fertilizing or seeding so it will pay for itself in just a couple of years. I think it will help during our drought times and improve the health and beauty of our lawn. The convenience of having an aerator that is easily stored and always available is well worth the price.

Great tool for soilThis is an effective product which is of sturdy construction and was delivered very quickly. This is a nice little aerator. It assembles in about 1/2 hour. I appreciate the fact that I can pull it behind the tractor while mowing. I have used it for about 6h now and it seems to work really well. Avoid going over rocks and thick three roots.
