Super comfortableAs a bigger person it is important to feel supported, especially when working at your desk all day. This chair fits the bill. Really solid base. Seat supports in all the right places, and no worries it will collapse

It's big and sturdy, but I overlooked the non-adjustable backrestThis is a large, solid chair, perfect for the larger person. Of course, I'm not large height-wise (more of a ball), and I was worried at first, as my feet didn't comfortably reach the floor, and I thought I may need to return the chair. It turned out the centre pillar wasn't inserted in the base quite far enough, and once it dropped properly into place, that resolved the short-legs issue.
The other problem for me is tricker to resolve. I have the kind of bad back that makes it difficult to sit in any other position than bolt upright as if I'm on a throne, and I hadn't realised the backrest was non-adjustable (is attached to the armrests). It means I'll need to get a back-support cushion of some kind, which is fine. This chair was £100 less than my previous one, and it's so much more comfortable.
I assembled the chair on my own, and it was straightforward, but anyone struggling with dexterity might need a second pair of hands to hold pieces in place.Posted on

The most comfortable chair ever in the history of goat herding!What an amazingly comfortable chair. It's solid, stable, and ever so comfortable. More comfortable than I can express in words. Expressing it in interpretive dance might well be a better way of achieving this, but the chair is so comfortable I would rather not get up out of it. It was easy to assemble, even two left-handed me managed to do it with no problems. I did have the assistance of a gay man holding the back in place whilst I put the screws in. I don't think a gay man is necessary, so don't worry if you haven't got access to one.
Now you might be wondering what this chair has to do with goat herding, allow me to explain. Before I bought this chair, I had another chair. It was pink. It was wobbly. The gas lift would raise or lower as it saw fit. It might have been haunted, and that's where the confusion started. My daughter said, “has it got ghosts?” I misheard and thought she said goats. So from that time on it was the goats that did it.Posted on

Good size, comfy.Easy to assemble, looks good, nice wide seat, back is high enough.
Tested by my 20 stone 6'3" male companion, says it's well padded and very comfy.
Casters supplied look like the "standard" type, used the heavy duty castors we bought for the old chair, he likes to lean well back and standard castors don't tend to last long!Posted on
