Looks Great, Easy Assembly, Rock SolidWe wanted a tree over 6 feet tall, this one is sturdy enough to remain stable even at the top shelf. My kitten found the cat cave to her liking right away, my old boy prefers the sunny spot up in the sling. The cushions stick onto velcro strips and come off for machine washing. Will look great for years, unlike the cheaper one this one replaced.

Not very cat friendlyOk - the positives first:
-it's very easy to assemble.
- it's an attractive piece of furniture, nice looking wood, definitely not an eyesore in your living room!
- Detachable pads for cleaning and because the structure isn't lined with carpet you don't get shreds of carpet everywhere when your cat claws it.
- Very comfy places for your cat to sleep and hang out.
- seems very stable
Ok now for the negative! It's just one negative but it's so big I'd say it's really worth thinking about looking elsewhere for a cat tree-
It's basically a series of nice beds with attached scratching posts. It's not designed in a way that allows your cat to jump around and do acrobatics like the usual cat tree. I've only seen him go to the top deck once and he hasn't attempted it again as there isn't enough space for him to land on the next level down so he basically crash lands, knocking everything off the coffee table below. The shiny wood surface looks lovely but it's no good for a cat who needs to sink his claws into something to keep from falling. My last tree was carpet lined and, although I was constantly vacuuming up bits of carpet, he had full confidence swinging around jumping from one level to another and decent places to jump from and to. This one seems very badly designed.
Yesterday I tried covering the wood in adhesive carpet tiles so we'll see if that helps my cat feel confident enough to use the top level that he loved so much in the last one.
So, in summary ... very expensive and large for something a cat is partially alarmed by!! But looks good!Posted on

Cute but wobblyI ordered this tree to put in the main bedroom next to another tree we have. My idea was for the cats to jump from one tree to another. It’s not solid like other carpet trees. Whenever they jump to one of the two top beds it wobbles loudly… I hope I can sleep at night.

They love it!Really high quality, very classy and my two kittens love it. Only issues are it’s kind of wiggly and the second platform cup falls out. My kitten fell several times when the cup fell and I had to figure out a way to tie it to the rest of the tree.

The BEST Cat Tree EVER!!This cat tree is the bomb. I used to buy the big and elaborate trees made of cardboard, with quickly failing carpet and sizzle, then the cardboard if I kept it that long. I would have to buy one a year.
This cat tree? I have had it for 14 months, and I have five cats who all use it all of the time. One of my cats is the size of a raccoon.
Why I love this cat tree:
1). Very well made of wood
2). Very sturdy
3). The cats LOVE it
4). It looks really good I think in any space
5). The padding is washable!
6). You can move each sections/platform to reconfigure in a sense, to fit how you want
7). It was pretty easy to put together.
8). I won’t have to purchase a replacement for years
9). While the price may seem high, it isn’t at all when you consider how long it will last
10). All five of our cats love it and spend a lot of time using it
11). It is very sturdy and absolutely will not fall over.
I guarantee you will not regret buying this.
One thing to keep in mind; If your cats don’t use it much, it’s most likely not in the right place. I moved mine into the living room where the humans spend a great deal of time, and all of a sudden they couldn’t get enough. The original location was in an area where we walked by, but did not linger. Your kitty cats want to be where you are.Posted on

My big cats can finally loungeI was able to put it together within an hour. My giant cats can actually sprawl out comfortably. The scratching posts are also very thick, compensating for the build's large height.
The only issue I have is that the wire basket can slip right off if its not fastened with some Velcro stickers. It is just barely wobbly but my cats can comfortably jump around on it without any fear :)Posted on

Best money ever spent!Opened the box and was not intimidated at all! Put together within 1/2 hour. So glad the cubby area came fully intact! Living in a condo was afraid this item would be massive! And it was for about an instant! Then saw my cats loving it and so very happy! They love their views out the window and love to climb! So happy with the structure. Very well made!

Mostly excellent with a bit of minor improvement neededIn the search for a new cat tree, I wanted to find one that was well made, did not have attached carpet since it cannot be removed for cleaning, was sturdy, and would provide several cozy places for the cats. This one fit the bill quite well, especially as the cushions can be removed and washed. The wooden components are really nice and heavy. The assembly hardware is also heavy duty and I have no issues with the quality of those components.
Assembly is pretty straightforward, with two confusing moments. Platform C has three holes in it but only two are used and it took a little extra time to make sure that it was being installed in the correct orientation. Velcro strips are used to attach some of the cushions to platforms. The round cushions need to be inverted to be in the correct orientation for the velcro to stick to them. The way that they arrived, with the side that does not stick to the velcro on what appears to be the bottom, is inverted.
The one thing that I feel really needs to be improved is the round hammock. It sits in a hole supposed by metal rings that are wider than the hole. However, the material is slippery on the wood and it is easy for a cat to make the hammock slip to the side. There should be a way to affix this hammock better, without having to put a hole in the material (if a DIY attempt) as that would speed up the rate of the material wearing out.
The cushions don't seem like they are made all that well, so I don't really expect them to last a long time. This is a bit disappointing. Hopefully the company that makes this cat tree will sell replacement cushions (higher quality) when the time comes for these to be replaced. That said, I LOVE the fact that they can be washed.
One of my cats could not even wait for this tree to be assembled before getting onto it. He because master of the new tree right away, so that bodes well for its initial popularity. I am quite sure that the others will love it too once they see it.Posted on

Beautiful with some caveatsThis thing is so pretty and feels sturdy. The cats took to the first two levels right away. It took them about 3 weeks to get used to the hammock sections which makes sense. It can get a little wobbly when they’re playing on the top 3 levels and the 2nd to top level’s rim hammock has no way of staying secure so cats are a little sketched out with that one still. Overall, it’s a great cat tree.
