Good quality with styleThe armchair is as described. Also comfortable to sit on. However, the protective pad on the legs are made with slippery materials. Maybe it can be improved by using other materials.overall, I am very pleased with the armchair!

Surprisingly comfortable chair, for the priceI finally got around to assembling this chair yesterday. In general, I am quite pleased with the result, with only a couple of minor niggles.
Niggle one: the kit did NOT include screw hole covers, meaning we are left with some rough, ugly holes with screws showing. I've just ordered a set of caps to hopefully fix this issue, but it seems sensible for these to have been included. They don't add much to the price, but would save bother.
Niggle two: some areas of the wood (especially the edges of the arms) is rough, and sanding it down isn't really an option when it's been painted—as it is.
Overall—raw screw holes aside—the chair looks good when finished, and is quite comfortable to sit in, despite having a short back. It forces a person to sit up straight, so it's a good chair for posture. A cushion at the back makes it even more comfortable. I'm quite happy with this aspect of the chair, and it feels reasonably sturdy as well—although I suspect it's not meant for constant use. Size (width and height) is perfect for just about anybody, and sits low enough to the floor so nobody's legs will be dangling, but the fixed chair arms mean it's easy to rise from as well.
There were a couple of problems getting it put together from the pictorial instructions.
Although an L-shaped 'spanner' is included, which works very well for turning the screws, unfortunately a rather sturdy normal flathead screwdriver is required to get the four nuts positioned in place inside the crossbar at the front. That was really tricky to accompiish, and the instructions didn't even show which way the nut should go in. Trial and error got the job done, but that was the most difficult part for me.
The right and left arms were mislabeled, mixing up the two! And yes, it made a difference. It was fairly obvious from the angle of the arms that a mistake was made, but still....
I'm buying a seat cover for the seat, because this is fabric, and likely to get worn and stained without a cover. But I knew this was the case before I bought it, so no problem.
All in all, I'm very happy with the product, but due to the niggles regarding finish and assembly I couldn't give it 5 stars. But it's still worth buying. And the colour (blue) is very nice and subdued, without being 'grey!' It has a slightly tweedy look, which means it should not show lint, which is a plus.Posted on

MehThere is some good and bad with this. I still gave it 4 stars though,I wasnt expecting a $500 chair for $118.
The good: chair is fairly comfortable and it was easy to put together. Took about 20 minutes to put together.
The bad: the nuts, bolts and washers came in a bag all together. (Here is a hint to assemble quicker. Group the hardware together and label them according to the assembly sheet. That will make the assembly go smooth). There are some scratches on the wood. Easily covered with a dark brown marker. Some areas of the wood did not have a radius on the edge.
For what you're paying dont expect top quality, for what you are paying its definitely ok! Would I buy it knowing this, yes I think so.Posted on

Carve out a whole afternoon......Wasn’t easy to assemble and you will need a pillow for extra cushioning but the way it looks in my living room. It gets a thumbs up.

Lovely Mid-century Modern ChairI was really drawn mid-century modern chair. The look, style, and color were on point. The wood is a rubber wood, which is probably why it's so affordable. The fabric is really nice and easy to clean. Has a nice higher back that's comfortable to sit in. Slightly firm, but that's what I needed for hubby. He broke his back like 6 months ago. He's fine, but he likes to hang out with the kiddos in their playroom and currently can't get on the floor. Having this chair in there gives him the interaction with the kiddos and he can stay comfortable. I like it in there, so once he is healed, we will probably use it in the playroom of our new home. I assembled it myself in about 30 to 40 minutes.

Good for the priceChairs were easy to put together and seem sturdy. The color is more cream than beige, in my opinion. As others have said, the cushions are quite firm, maybe not great for long sitting, but totally fine for visiting with someone for an bit. Packaging was great, deveining came in good condition. Happy with my purchase.

Great chairs but, need the cushions to be less rigid.Well made chairs! Pretty easy to assemble and look great! The seat cushion is too firm and doesn’t provide enough comfort. A little less rigidity for the old bum and these chairs would totally rate 5 Stars!!

Nice chair, instructions a little unclearDecent chair. Cushion is firm but comfortable. Looks great in my foyer. Dark gray fabric. The chair looks short once assembled but while sitting you can't tell any difference. There was a tag on the top right side of the back of the chair that looked odd, I cut it off. Only thing I didn't like is that the packaging of the hardware does not differentiate the screws. There are long and short ones and it's not clear from the drawing which screws are to be used.

Good chair with firm and big seatThe chair is well made with thick materials. Nice color to match my cherry wood floor, a little dark for the gray carpet. I put some padding stickers under the chair legs to prevent scratches on the floor because I move chairs quite Ogden. The seat is very firm, providing enough support. If using the same measure as mattresses, I think the firmness is at somewhere between firm and extra firm. The size of the seat is a little larger than I thought. I uploaded a picture to show how big it was compared to a piece of A4 paper. I was amazed by the fast delivery. It arrived before the estimated date.
