East Oak Tabletop StoveExcellent workmanship and reliable quality. It will smoke at first and get very hot when the fire is at full power, but you will need to add more firewood soon. The bottom stays cool, so it's safe to place on a table.

The grill temperature is too high to cook.It's very lightweight, and the grill is too far from the heat source to cook anything properly. It might be better if it were filled with firewood/coal, but that would require a lot of firewood/coal and take a long time.

Great for starting a fire and cooking!This is such a great deal! It was easy to put together and is versatile enough to make a fire for cooking or use it as a fireside for roasting marshmallows. The fire is just right and there is very little smoke. There are no parts missing and I received extra screws and bolts. Great quality. Definitely recommend!

It's perfect!I ordered this on March 23, 2021 and it works great! It's easy to use, gives off nice localized heat, makes delicious toasted marshmallows, and it's very portable! We picked up a 20 lb propane tank from the exchange and it lasted at least 20 hours. (Maybe longer? We don't track!) We also bought a separate carrying case to protect it when traveling.

Works greatI've had it for 3 years now with no issues, it works great in the fire zone, no sparks and keeps you warm. Not like a 5 foot fire of course. Wife has the same as ours and it fits just right and is safe which is the part I like.

Very sturdy and attractiveGreat fire pit for a fire. Wide sides for your feet or plates when not burning. Comes with a heavy duty lid. Still a little smoky at times but that could be the type of wood I burn, but don't expect it to be smokeless (I haven't seen one yet!).

Love itIt took about an hour and a half to assemble, but I'm a super slow worker. It looks awesome and I really enjoyed it. One hole was difficult to align and I had to screw it in crookedly, so that's why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

The price was great and the fire pit was great.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that no matter how hard I tried I could not get everything to line up, but that's purely aesthetic. It's well made and pretty sturdy for flimsy metal. It was simple to assemble other than having to get it to line up. The metal cover allows it to be used as a table, which was a selling point for me. We haven't tried the grill yet, but it would definitely be a great feature! It's nice to be able to cook over a fire late at night instead of grilling it myself. I highly recommend it, especially for the $100 price tag.

Perfect for an outdoor evening with a fire pit!We're loving this 42" fire pit so far - it fits perfectly on our patio and would look great in the yard. The octagonal design adds a touch of style, and it comes with everything you need, including a fire tong. We've had a few cozy campfires, and it's been great for roasting marshmallows and relaxing with friends. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the base feels a little flimsy compared to the rest of the structure, and the weight limit is a little lower than I would have expected for a product advertised as "heavy duty." Just be aware of that if you plan on using it a lot or using it to roast larger logs. All in all, this fire pit is a great value for the money and a great addition to our outdoor setup!

Safe, no need to worry about sparks or embers causing a deck fire.I absolutely love this fire pit ball...in fact, it's the third or fourth one I've purchased in the last six years. We have a large two story, partially covered patio that we put this on and it works perfect for our needs. I always worry about a random ember starting a patio or house fire, but not with this design. We put a fire mat under it for obvious reasons, safety first. We simply fill it with fire, light it, and then put the lid on. It's the perfect size for what we need. When not in use, we cover it with a thick fire pit cover once it's cooled. I've bought several as gifts.

Great product, but if you have OCD the grate won't align.We just bought this today and it was working great until we were assembling it and noticed some of the side grilles were not aligned so they were not level with each other. Other than that I have no complaints. If you are elderly or have trouble lifting it I would recommend getting someone to help you assemble it. It takes a lot of flipping during assembly and it is a bit heavy but overall it is a good size.

Enjoy a warm fire. Easy to set up and use.Oh, what a joy and comfort it is to bask in the warmth of a campfire on a cold night! I am lucky enough to live about an hour from the ocean. This means we enjoy the cool to cold Pacific Ocean marine layer that is so unique to the Bay Area. Where I live is cooler than most other places in the Bay Area. From November to February, nighttime temperatures can range from 55 degrees Fahrenheit to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. In the summer, it stays warmer longer here, too. Most summer nights average between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit, with the occasional dip to 55 degrees. This means that I can only enjoy this fire pit through a smaller window. When it’s 43 degrees outside, it’s not comfortable at all, and sitting outside watching the flames dance on the lava rocks isn’t exactly ideal. But I still do it. This fire pit does put out quite a bit of heat. On a cold 43 degree night, I feel like a rotisserie chicken spinning on a spit. It’s so pleasant to stand next to the warm flames and watch the flames in the metal bowl burn up with the hiss of the gas. Yellow light illuminates the walls of my home, wisps of heat embrace me warmly. My back feels cold. I turn my back to the fire and let the warmth of the flames envelop me. Watching the yellow light dance and jump across the dark sky and cold night air is calming and contemplative. While the day is loud, with the air filled with the sound of dogs barking, the rumble of cars 100 yards away, and the noise of power tools, the night is quiet. Everything is quiet. Everything is peaceful. The warmth of the fire brings a moment of respite from a busy day filled with unfair demands, the pressure of deadlines, the emotional ups and downs of interacting with family, and the hustle and bustle of commuter traffic. The fire hisses, and blue flames burst from the nozzle of the burner into pieces of fiery red leaves. The warm air dances, changing direction as the breeze blows. I circle the fire pit, looking for the hot air from time to time. A sense of peaceful, tranquil immersion envelops me. All the troubles of the world seem to disappear.

MoreOnly assembled, not used in fire pit yet. Will write a review later. So far: As expected, the instructions are less than perfect. I screwed the brackets in as shown, then realized I should have screwed them in the opposite direction - this makes it easier to clean the pit. The guard rails have to be installed from the bottom of the pit, not the top - and it would be easier to install if all four parts weren't screwed together in the first place. Still, I think this fire pit is much better than our previous one. Will update this review after I've used it in fire pit.

Beautiful fireplaceThis fireplace is perfect for a patio, but there is one thing that is easily fixed: I drilled a few small holes in the bottom to allow for drainage when it rains. I found that the center hole was not very useful and blocked easily. Other than that, this little fireplace is great.

Portable fire pit, great value for money. Simple and practical.Our new fire pit arrived on time, well packaged, and with all the parts. I've used it about 5 times now, and it works great. The included ash screen blocks any embers that are slightly less than 1/4" in opening, so even if there's a strong wind, those about 1/8" thick embers are extinguished before they fly 2 feet out of the fire pit. I'm very wary of fire hazards, and this is a real relief. I also have a water hose ready just in case, but that's just my personal opinion. The cutouts in the main body of the fire pit, the moon and star pattern, are also lined with the same wire mesh. Some companies forget this part. It's very important for fire safety. The black paint burns off almost immediately, so it gives it a worn-in look. I personally like this look, so it's not a problem at all. You can repaint the fire pit with high-temperature automotive engine block paint or similar paint to make it look brand new. I wouldn't bother with that though. I also bought a fire pit cover, which fits perfectly. Of course, you need to wait for it to cool down before you put the cover on. There is also a small drainage hole in the bottom to drain rainwater or other liquids, and a corrugated metal bottom to allow air to circulate under the wood fuel. It doesn't look tall enough for this purpose, but it seems to provide good ventilation. Good value for money, I like it.
