This item calls itself an overbed table. However it is not an overbed table. I doubt it is even an oversofa table. The tabletop just doesn't stretch far enough. I read through the previous reviews and measured before buying, but still unfortunately this is not as marketed and doesn't work for me.;Bought for working from home while lying flat, recovering from spinal problems. It would hold a laptop to the side of my bed, but I would have to twist my body to be able to type so not ideal or fit for purpose.;Very fiddly to set up. Lots of lifting and holding parts in place so get a friend to help if you have reduced mobility. The sad part is that it is actually a very steady table and moves easily on hard floor. Looks like a versatile product with good height for a standing desk. However, it is absolutely not an overbed table!

It's straightforward but fiddly to assemble (you need four arms). I like the compact size of the base compared to alternatives, and love the fact that the top folds away easily, and is v easy to adjust the tilt (but secure enough that it doesn't move about in use). I would prefer if the min height was slightly lower (for use with sofa). Not sure how robust the plastic castors and brakes will be over time. I use it for art in front of the TV (only used twice so far), and overall a great little compact table at reasonable price in sale. I might add a non-slip mat for when I use it on the tilt.
