Good starter greenhousePerfect gift for a gardening novice. Easy to assemble, sturdy and durable. The shelf has a good load-bearing capacity. It is recommended to use cable ties to secure the shelf to the edge. Reasonable price.

Great little greenhouse!Good value for money, easy to put up and looks like it should do the job but time will tell. I had to use plastic cable ties to secure the metal frame. I may need to add nails to the bottom of the frame to reinforce it due to weather conditions but I have it behind the shed to block the wind. So far I am very happy with it. PS: not suitable for windy climates! Latest news, it blew away but luckily was picked up. Needs stronger tent pegs and it is holding up well.

Great greenhouse, perfect for growing vegetablesWhere to start? This is perfect for any gardener. I start all my veggies here and it gets really warm, over 50 degrees Celsius, and the pepper and chilli plants love it. Easy to assemble, great price and a good size. Put something heavy inside for windy days or nail it down and it looks really nice.

Convenient small cooling bedThis handy little cold bed was delivered quickly. Assembly was simple and the plastic connectors seem sturdy and snap into place. The racks fit well and while narrower than some others there is plenty of room for the seedlings. The extra little cold bed space is great. The clear plastic cover fits well and zips up easily.

Great for beginnersIt's so easy to put together that you don't even need an instruction manual. The poles sometimes fall apart and the metal tray isn't very stable, but for a temporary residence or someone living in a tiny house, this is great.

Fantastic compact greenhouseThis is a great product, easy to assemble and perfect for a small number of plants. The cover is very sturdy and opens easily to roll up and allow the plants to breathe. When it is windy, the cover needs to be secured or weighted at the bottom to keep it stable. Very compact and suitable for small spaces. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent value/qualityI'm very happy with this greenhouse, it was super easy to put together, the frame and lid are very sturdy and fit the space I wanted. I put a bag of compost on the bottom shelf to weigh it down. I like the design and the lid can be scanned and replaced if needed. My tomato seedlings have been growing well in it for only two days! I give it 5 stars

Great, but can get blown over by the wind without weight on itEasy to assemble. Holds a lot of trays and looks nice and neat. My only complaint is that it fell over twice when it was windy. I had to put a heavy bag of compost on the bottom shelf which did take up a lot of space (although it was crowded with some small trays). I did lose a lot of trays. One time it was because it was full and the tray wasn't heavy enough to stay in place.

Large greenhouseThe greenhouse is good quality and has plenty of space, the shelf clips kept falling off so I used cable ties to secure the shelves in place. Assembly was very easy.

Suitable size and easy to useGood size and easy to use. Perfect for growing seedlings that are about to be potted. Quick and easy assembly, can be done by one person. Can be moved to the most suitable location in the garden when empty. Nice appearance and can accommodate multiple seedling trays. Fully functional. The zipper looks strong, will see how long it lasts. But it is great that you can buy a spare cover from the same company if needed. We are also thinking of buying a tomato mini greenhouse.

Easy to assemble and practical designThe design is great, the frame fits snugly and creates a sturdy grow house. Time will tell if the zippers are durable and the cover lasts more than a season or can be replaced, but so far I'm very impressed. I think it needs to be secured to the ground with nails, but I did that by driving 5' stakes into each side of the frame and leaning it against the fence to protect it from storms. I'm keeping the box and will pack it up once the plants have multiplied, but overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

It was difficult to assemble. Definitely needed two people to do it.Assembly was difficult as the nuts and bolts were not easy to remove. Instructions were not very clear but I managed it in the end. Very happy with the end result and the price. Overall quality was reasonable and I was happy with the extra bolts and screws.

Is the work done well? The packaging needed a little more attention, a couple of parts were damaged but costway fixed them quickly. It takes two people to assemble, the spanners provided are cheap and tend to bend easily, the greenhouse itself is fine.

Good value for moneyOverall a very good product, the instructions were not very clear but were easy to follow, sliding the polycarbonate sheets in was a little tricky, as a design improvement I would suggest the manufacturer provide rails that can be fitted to the sheets first so they slide in without getting stuck on the frame when you try to slide them in, I believe this would elevate the product from good to excellent, the window latches are quite flimsy and the gutters are not very good either but I have got it erected and in place and it is very sturdy, I am happy with my purchase

Ok but not great and overpricedOverall, this greenhouse is OK, but I definitely don't think it's worth the £230 I spent. It was very difficult and tiring to assemble. Also, they forgot to drill holes in the aluminium parts so I had to drill them myself to screw it in. 3/5

You get what you pay forBought this a few weeks before Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice were coming, I was glad to have a gust of wind beforehand as a warning! My son decided to start building this, he had built the two end panels but the winds were too strong to continue so he stacked the ends up against the fence along with other metal pieces. He then "secured" it against other things and we waited with bated breath to see if it would survive the two storms that were coming! Nothing moved and a week after the worst of the winds he decided to get stuck in, he is a gardener and doesn't follow instructions very well (or is that just the nature of men?) but he had it built in a few hours. A few things to report; the gutter on the left side was not installed correctly (as you look at the door) but I was able to fix that by just putting in a rain chain, and one of the lower panels just wouldn't go in no matter what we did. However, considering how cheap and functional this greenhouse is, these minor flaws aren't really worth mentioning. Personally, the threshold is a little high for me as I have limited mobility so that might be something to consider. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to latch the windows shut. The windows can be propped open but there is no way to "lock" them shut. There will definitely be ways to fix this later, but it's too early to get into it now. I'm really looking forward to getting everything set up and my seeds and seedling trays almost ready! Take your time, it's definitely worth it!

The price is right, but for those who are careful with their finances.Great little greenhouse. I have tomatoes, spring onions, leeks and a few other herbs growing in my greenhouse right now and it's working just as well as any more expensive greenhouse. It was very easy to build and assemble. I would recommend putting something heavy on it in case of high winds or gusts. It's good value for money, lightweight and your tomato seedlings will grow to a decent size.

Great greenhouse!Really happy with this purchase, easy installation, plenty of space, and convenient shelves. Great value for money! Can't believe the price is so cheap! Looks sturdy, but I used a brick to hold it down. Very happy with the quality, and I like the two windows for ventilation of the plants. The only suggestion is that the instruction manual could be a little bigger! Overall, very happy with this purchase, highly recommended

A sturdy, well-designed small greenhouse. This little greenhouse is really sturdy. I will use it until my greenhouse is finished but I am planning to buy another one so I can use it in my glass greenhouse next year. It is very sturdy, great value for money and very easy to set up. It has just enough space to hold two seedling trays side by side. My greenhouse is currently indoors as we have been having frost recently and I am not sure how well it will hold frost but I am sure if it was covered in a layer of bubble wrap it would be completely frost proof.

Excellent productThis thing is so cute! A premium, two-story compact grow house. It has metal poles and shelves. It also has a draw cord with a plastic tensioner. I had to google how to tie it. The lid is very sturdy and I use the outside pockets to hold it down with some sand because it is very windy where I live. It holds four seedling trays. I have two in my pictures. Great value for money, very easy assembly, no flaws in the product. You do need to cut the side near the zipper to get the lid on. That is not a flaw.

Double greenhouseItem arrived on time and well packaged. Assembly took 15 minutes and was very easy. Instructions are simple and to be honest all pictures but that's all you need. This is a solid small greenhouse and does exactly what I needed. I deducted one star because one of the eyelet panels on the bottom almost fell off but considering the price I'm very happy with it. I'm keeping this box for the winter so I'm sure it will last a few more years. After about 4 weeks the zipper fell off on one side and couldn't be put back on so now with this bin sometimes you get what you pay for.

Ignore the product title – this greenhouse doesn’t have a steel frame – but it’s worth buying anywayThis is a practical addition to any small garden. Although the product name says it has a steel frame, as you can see from all the photos, it does not. The frame is made of plastic. It comes flat-packed as a series of tubes, brackets and shelves, but it is very easy to assemble. It is very intuitive and takes only a few minutes to put together. I can't comment on its durability because I have only had it for a few weeks, although plastic will age relatively quickly when exposed to the elements, but this is to be expected. However, you have to consider the price when assessing value, and even if it only lasted a few years, I would be very happy with it as it is sold at a very low price. The plastic material has some obvious advantages. Firstly, it is very light and easy to move around the garden. Secondly, if you need to dismantle it - for example, because you are moving house - it seems to be a breeze to do so. As several other buyers have highlighted, due to its light weight and the fact that it is much taller than it is wide, it may blow over in high winds. I think the simple way to solve this problem is to place it in a sheltered area and put something heavier on the lower shelf to weigh it down a little. Another user note I'd like to add is that the lightweight wire shelves are only held in place by gravity, so they can be knocked over when moved. It would be easy to tie them to the frame with rope or twine, but that's not included. The capacity looks great, and I'm looking forward to planting lots of seedlings in it over the next few months. As a keen gardener, I think it will be very popular in the years to come!

You need to tie it up in high windsSurprisingly sturdy and perfect for a small garden. The lid is thick and durable. The frame is sturdy. The only minor complaint is that the shelf is too thin and doesn't fit well, but that was fixed with cable ties.

-
Easy to assemble but poor/inconsistent build qualityIt was fairly easy to put together on my own, but one of the poles was bent and wouldn't fit into the tube, so I had to use a hammer to bend it. The wire shelf wasn't the right size so it wouldn't fit, and the clips holding it in place came off with a slight push. And that's without the pots. It's very light and easy to move around even when fully assembled. I can't comment on the growth and stability of the plants yet as I've only just put it up.

Very disappointed with the cover - it got ripped off after a few monthsI bought this in the early fall and was very happy with the size and ease of assembly. Like other reviews, it does need to be weighted down and the shelves aren't very secure, so cable ties were recommended. Everything was going great until the first winter storm and the cover cracked...and cracked and cracked. I'm now searching costway for a replacement cover and I found one from another company that has great reviews. Overall, this greenhouse is inexpensive and works well, just be prepared to need to replace the cover in the future.

Updated - Not durableUpdate - Customer service was great and friendly and even replaced the cover on this product! Been using it for over a year. It works fine but it just doesn't last very long! The plastic cover is getting brittle and gets holes easily, some of the straps are breaking, the zipper broke a long time ago and now one of the zippers is completely broken! It needs to be replaced now and I may consider a different brand.

Do this workThe greenhouse frame is not very strong. I am worried about strong winds and don't know how to deal with them. The shelves are of poor quality and cannot be fixed to the frame at all, and the load-bearing capacity is very poor. I used cable ties and now it looks like it is about to fall off. The metal material is thin and cheap. However, it is sufficient and very cost-effective, and the plants are growing well!

6x8 Grey GreenhouseIt took me 12 hours (1 and a half days) to build it myself The instructions are terrible, at first I thought why did I spend £300 on this as it didn't look sturdy but when I started to assemble it it was actually very sturdy. Just make sure you seal the windows well with silicone as the wind can blow them off. Tools I used (you will need) Angle grinder, socket wrench, proper screwdriver, tape measure and silicone gun The instructions have no words, only very poor quality pictures, it's all about common sense and building knowledge, if you don't have that you need to find someone/friend who does before you attempt to build

Easy and straight forward assemblyAfter unboxing, I looked at the assembly instructions and thought they could be more detailed, but I found the assembly quality to be quite good. It took about an hour from unboxing to complete assembly. I assembled it myself, and if I can do it, anyone can. However, I also asked my husband to help put the lid on the frame for convenience. It is a good size and easy to move. The lid is thick enough and the door zips up smoothly. It looks very delicate next to my small garden. The shelves are removable and have clips on them to secure them. I am very happy that I chose this model.

Impressive in every wayCouldn't be happier with it. I bought it more as a potting shed than a greenhouse. It was easy for me to put up. It's in a relatively sheltered spot and the cover fits the frame well, but I'm not sure it would hold up in a spring storm. There are no tears or holes in the shed and the zippers are still intact!

Better than expectedDespite the warnings about the fragility of this product, the price is reasonable and it is worth a try. Once you get going, it is actually quite simple, but the instructions could use some work. Once the frame is up, check around each frame pole to make sure they are fully inserted into the connectors. This will greatly increase the sturdiness of the greenhouse. However, the frame is very light and, apart from the included shelving units (which are great), it is not load-bearing and can easily collapse. Putting the cover on the greenhouse was probably the hardest part, as it needs to be placed next to the fence and put the cover on alone despite my height of 6'4" (if you are taller than 5' (you will have to bend over to get in after the door is set up). Once the cover is put on, I recommend folding up the clips on the bottom of the frame and securing the frame with some spare tent pegs and preferably some bricks, otherwise it will quickly become an expensive kite. For added wind protection, I tied the greenhouse up with some paracord tied to the top of the frame. It has survived the high winds and the first winter and still looks like new. Overall I think this is a decent product. I wish the door frames were a little taller and the plastic connections were more resistant to twisting as they break easily.

Affordable greenhouse!I have owned this greenhouse since February and it is the best greenhouse I have ever purchased. It has worked throughout the late winter and early spring which means I can start sowing seeds earlier. The shelves inside can handle a fair amount of weight but I wouldn't put too much on them. That said, it doesn't let the plants grow too large. A lot of people complimented it on how beautiful it looks in the garden without looking like a fancy permanent greenhouse. Even in strong winds the greenhouse stayed upright with no movement. I did not use any tie ties to ensure the greenhouse did not shift in bad weather. However, I found that putting a few bags of compost on the bottom frame did the trick. This is a great greenhouse for those who want quality without spending too much money. Highly recommended.

A fairly solid and fairly spacious grow house. My previous walk-in nursery needed two new covers and was half the size of this one, finally giving up this year because the metal pipes started to rust. That's the downside to this grow house design: the covers start to fall off after about three years, and the frame only has one coat of paint. This one is twice as big as my previous one, and there's room inside for a chair, which I need because I have back problems and can't stand for long periods of time. There are built-in shelves on both sides, but the shelves are removable. I like this because I can use the shelves on both sides when I need to transplant plants in the early spring, and then remove one side for easy access when I want to start greenhouse crops such as tomatoes. I'm a little disappointed that this cover isn't a little more transparent, but it's much better than my previous grow house with a green cover. I found the instructions easy to follow, but I think that's partly because the previous one I put together was very similar in design. I made some adjustments because I wanted to place the greenhouse along the wall of our house. This meant I couldn't use the guy cords on that side. I also didn't want the guy cords sticking out into the lawn, but putting them next to the greenhouse also helped to keep it in place. I also made some loops in the wall for extra lines that run from the top to the same nails as the side fences. I decided to tuck the skirting back under the frame instead of outward, and if the skirting is concrete, I will use screws instead of nails to attach it. I think the little skirting parts on either side of the door also need mounting holes so they can be screwed or nailed, so I will install those myself. This greenhouse will serve us well this year, but my long-term plan is still to build a real greenhouse.

Happy seedlingsPerfect. I'm running out of room for all my seedlings and I don't have a greenhouse yet. So hopefully this will help. It's easy to build and can be done with one hand. The cover fits perfectly. I built the gables at one end first, then put the cover on, then built the middle roof supports, then pulled the cover up, then put the ends on and finished the final cover, and it worked great. I have two carts for onions and garlic so I put them on the skirts on each side without the need for anchors. It's beautiful and very sturdy. Just wish it had a vent on the top to keep the flies out and the heat out. Now thinking of buying another one and converting it into a cat house with mesh. Great product, thank you.

OK, but needs more support for the roof sectionGood size greenhouse and cover that looks durable, but it seems like replacements can be purchased as needed. Fairly easy to set up, and would be easier with two people. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that in my opinion, it needs extra support for the roof. It only has one support front, back and center, so the plastic sheeting acts like a sail in the wind. Four supports are needed.

Good value for moneyWe were looking for a small, budget greenhouse that would fit on an allotment and this seemed to be the best we could find. It came in two separate boxes, very well packaged: a long narrow box containing most of the aluminium sections and a square box containing the glazing and other accessories. The instructions are graphic and the assembly sequence is straightforward, but it is easy to make mistakes and on a couple of occasions we had to go back and dismantle things and then reassemble them. The greenhouse is built from the base up and you have to get the base in place and square and level to ensure that everything fits into place and forms a square structure. So before you start assembling it prepare the area where the greenhouse will be placed and make sure it is secure and level. Assemble the base and then check the diagonals to make sure it is square. We have a 1200mm long level which was very useful for both the base frame and the corner posts. Most of the fixings are 6mm bolts and the greenhouse comes with a 10mm spanner to tighten the hexagonal heads of the bolts and nuts. However, a 10mm socket on a power drill is very handy and speeds up assembly. It is important to follow the instructions carefully and be patient to ensure that the installation is done correctly, as there are places where you need to insert the bolts into the notches that will be used later in the assembly. If you miss or forget these steps, you will have to reinstall them. The glass panels have a protective film on both sides, but only one side is UV-resistant, which is indicated by the white film. When installing the glass panels, always put the UV-resistant side facing outwards! The wall panels help to keep the structure square, and once the walls are installed and glazed, the whole structure is very solid. When building the roof, the steps are very useful, although the ridge is not very high, so there are no steps. It is much easier to build the whole roof with two people, while one person will have a harder time in some places. When completed, the structure is surprisingly solid. Even a storm hit the day after it was built, but the greenhouse withstood the test without any damage. I was very impressed with its design and workmanship: all the aluminum profiles fit together perfectly, the glass windows are installed in an orderly manner, and the door can be used normally with just a few adjustments. I would say that getting these pieces to fit properly requires some manual dexterity, and those who aren't used to IKEA furniture might have a hard time doing it, but the end result exceeded our expectations and should last for many years.
