Compact with useful features.This is a very small stove. The original photos that advertise this were shot at a depth of view in my opinion that makes it look rather large. Yes they include measurements but I didn’t look at these. But saying that it is sturdy, well built and it’s good you have a window to see where the flames are up to. I found I had to continue blowing to keep it going on a non windy day. You do have two places to cook, but only the top one will fit the bigger pans, but if you want to boil some water it took me twenty minutes. The bottom pan hatch is easily removed with a stick to add more small wood through there and it has slots that I found useful in doing this. Have your kindling at hand to keep feeding it or you will have to try and lift it again. Could have had a lever to regulate the airflow and might have been better a little bit bigger to allow bigger pans and bigger wood to be used. Anyway a quite useful addition to a camping night away.

A great little stove for canoe camping.A great product to cook on with two cooking options for those who like to do more than boil water at camp. Perfect size for kindling, so gets going quickly. Make sure the wood is bone dry or the glass spots up quickly. Looking forward to using this on winter camps but also a great way to control your fire and environmental impact. Love it!

Rugged and Reliable: A Portable Camping Wood Burner StoveThis portable camping wood burner stove is sturdy, though I did tighten some screws during assembly. It's easy to put together and fits nicely in the back of my pickup without falling apart. It's just the right size for cooking or boiling water. I've noticed that if the fire dies down, it can be tricky to reignite with the pan on top, so I remove it until the fire gets going again. Kindling works well, especially when cut into smaller pieces for cooking. I had planned to add a flue on top for a hot tent setup, but I'm unsure as some smoke tends to escape around the door if it will be safe. It retains alot of the heat so great to just sit next to it on a cold night. Overall extremely happy with it considering the cost, I think it is really good value.

Tiny, tiny stoveThis is a well-made little thing, but you need to understand is really tiny. The kettle in my photo holds 1 litre (1.5 pints) . You'll need to cut your 'logs' to around 20cm (8in) lengths and split them - more like large pieces of kindling. It gives out a decent heat and will boil a kettle but the small size and the fact that it has no flu damper or other means to manage the draft means you have to feed it more or less continuously to keep the fire going - if you leave it alone for 15m it will be out. But if you treat it like a superior version of one of those lightweight twig stoves for backpackers it's fine. So overall a nice little extra for car camping trips (too heavy to backpack) - nice for sitting outside the tent watching the flames through the window. Easy to clean too.
