The rustic brown finish has brought a warm industrial feel to my hallway, and the seat cushion is surprisingly comfortable for a quick shoe change. I like the look of it, very neat, can hold a lot of shoes and has a small compartment for letters and keys. Be careful when assembling it as bamboo is fragile but once assembled it is sturdy.

Modified review: Customer service contacted me and admitted that the product received was faulty. They sent another one, but despite that, I decided to try it again. It works better, but still has some flaws. It is sturdier than the last version they sent me, and there are fewer parts falling off after assembly. I recommend this product if it is to be placed in a storage room instead of a hall. It is convenient, but there is potential for improvement. Thank you to customer service for working hard to correct the shipping error and handle customer feedback. Old review: The quality, material and thickness of the bamboo is not as advertised. From the photos, it has many flaws. The sturdiness is questionable. It is now completing assembly and will be disassembled and returned tomorrow. Really disappointing furniture. Same price as the steel version...don't waste your time on the shoe rack. Some of the bamboo parts fell apart as soon as you opened the box. Not worth the price.
