After a day or two it lay flat.Too early to tell how durable it is (it's only been in the awning for less than two weeks and used for two days). Reasonably priced and seems to "just work". It has been threaded through the eyelets and secured, and seems to be durable enough so far.

Excellent quality, adding privacy to your gardenReally like this side awning. We bought it for wind protection and also for privacy on the patio. We fixed it to the house wall with two good quality grommets on the bracket, which "catch" the frame of the telescopic unit. The posts are of good quality. However, if you are going to install it on patio slabs, you must use good quality lavash plugs. Our slabs are very thin, so I bought several different plugs to make sure the posts don't move. I am very happy with this purchase. The telescopic unit is very strong. You need to let it retract slowly inside the unit to prevent the fabric from wrinkling. After a few weeks, it works very well.

Great for temporary privacyGood quality stuff, mount the screen on a 4x4" post, the latch end is drilled and bolted to the appropriate paving block. Basically, this is done so that the angle of the screen can be changed by moving the paving block. The neighbors are nosy and this problem is almost OCD, so I can have some privacy while I work on the car.

Excellent workmanship.I am very happy with this screen. The instructions were very clearly written instead of just looking at pictures which was a breath of fresh air. The installation process was very easy. It looks very solid and well made. Only had it installed for a day but so far I am very happy with it.

Summer awningsInstallation is relatively simple, you will need power tools to drill holes, a hammer and a level to ensure both buckles are level so they connect to the main unit. The awning works well as a privacy barrier, but be careful in windy weather, in which case put it safely back into the unit. Retractable awnings are recommended.

Deck side awningI bought this to screen off my patio and make it a more private night time space. It does get blown by the wind but I don't sit in the garden in the wind so I don't mind. Everyone who has seen this in my garden has asked me where I got it from and I send them the link so they can buy it for themselves. It's great quality and looks more expensive than I paid for it. I would definitely buy this again. I did have to find someone to install it as it is quite heavy and cumbersome.

Patio door sunshadesExcellent value for money, fairly easy to install but best done with two people. I don't have a roof to tuck it into, instead I put two plastic water pipes on the wall and stuck the pipes in and that worked great. It gets a bit messy with the wind as it doesn't lock tight but if it's really windy I just roll it up. Why would you choose this product over others? : Provides shade on sunny days.

Bring me sunshineThe box arrived slightly damaged and upon opening it the main metal pole that runs through the canopy was broken in two. I decided to tape it back together as I needed the canopy for the day. The rest of the piece came together easily and it got a lot of compliments and I have shared the link to purchase it several times. Bought it to protect the food we distribute from the school food bank but everyone knows that as long as the canopy is open, you can get free food donations

Excellent product.It is very easy to assemble and install and comes with several accessories for adjustable height so it can be installed almost anywhere. Very good quality and great value for money. I bought it to block out the sun on sunny days to prevent the kitchen from overheating and this product works very well and helps keep the kitchen cool and comfortable. I am very happy with this purchase, it does exactly what I expected and it was very reasonably priced.

No customer service responding to inquiriesThis was a quick fix for not having enough sun on our balcony. It was a bit complicated to install but we got it done in the end. The price was reasonable too. They are not very sturdy and I doubt they will last long and it is hard to adjust the height accurately but that may be my personal experience. It slides on rollers so it doesn't look very nice. My main complaint though is that we lost a part on our balcony and wanted a replacement which we were happy to pay for. However, customer service never answered the phone and never responded to messages, emails or texts. UK customer service is terrible.

Nice, but embarrassingGood quality, delivered on time. A bit fiddly to install, but got it done in the end. Need to remove the stoppers in the mounting slots and pry the plastic cover off the end of the front bar. Note you'll need to keep the beading from the seams of the old cover as it doesn't come with the new one. I found it easier to remove the rear rollers and front bar from the frame, attach the new cover, and then reassemble.

A good alternativeWas planning on throwing the existing canopy away but after cleaning the metal parts and replacing it with new fabric it is like new. The fabric is not as thick as the original but still provides good sun protection. The fabric arrived folded and was easy to replace.

Need to modifyWhen the screen is open, the post where the handle is attached pulls back about 25mm under load. I had to put spacers on the bottom plate so it tilts back when not in use but stays vertical when in use, otherwise the screen would sag.

Privacy protectionLooks good. Don't stretch it all the way as the bottom is hard to get on the latch. I shortened it 200mm which made it much easier to fix. The fixing post is only half the height of the screen which means the top of the screen tends to wobble as it's not tightened. I used a bungee cord to hold the top of the screen back to lessen the wobble as it did annoy me! However it's a quality product, well made, easy to fit and it works great.

It adds brilliance to our gardenWe have a large open space behind our house that is always very windy. We bought two of these wind deflectors and placed them where we sit to block the wind. They have worked very well and we now have a small awning. They were very easy to install. The only problem was that they were not suitable for bolting to the tarmac. We installed the first one and the tarmac started to crack after an hour. We dug two holes, filled them with concrete, and bolted them to the concrete and now they are firmly fixed. Now looking forward to the good weather.
