SolidDo yourself a favour and take the plastic bits off the screw, put them in the holes and then put the screw in. Went a lot faster after I figured that out.

Perfect for student deskNice quality, and sturdy. Requires a bit of assembly but nothing unreasonable. The hardest part is making sure your shelf and side pieces are oriented in the right direction as the back edges (that would face the wall when the unit is complete and Placed atop an desk) are unfinished. If you assemble it incorrectly you could end up with unfinished edges pointing outwards.

Great for college dormsMy daughter wanted this for her desk at school. It took a little time putting it together, but it was well worth it. It fit on her desk perfectly. Very easy to follow step by step instruction booklet includedThis item is perfect for my needs. I received the item in excellent condition, well protected in its box.;I put this together myself using the very clear instruction booklet. (Step by step and very easy to follow). All the fittings were there. (Including some spares).;It is straightforward to put together and sturdy once assembled. A nice addition to my craft room. Very happy with my item.

Sturdy, easy to build, fast to setup.I loved this thing. It holds and organizes so much of my bedroom clutter now. And just like the image, I use it to have my computer in the large opening. I got a second one of these for the tv in my exercise room as well.

Flimsy structure, was tricky to pick up from where it was built onto the desk it was going on, parts kept coming out of slots however it has stayed in place once on the desk, there’s nothing to heavy been placed on the shelving just in case.Posted on

Pimps up my daughters uni desk!My daughter is at uni and has been given a small table with no drawers or shelving on it. This is perfect to create her study space with adequate shelving that sits easily on her desk as no drilling into student house walls allowed. No floor space lost either. Highly recommend for any new uni students setting up in a house.

Good quality heavy duty woodI had some problems putting this together. There were diagrams and some instructions but it would have assisted to know what pieces were applied to each other first. The top has about 7 lateral internal screwposts with two ends with screwposts vertical. I failed to work out what to do first when and was taking off one side again to re-do the inserts, in the end (hrs) it looks the part. One side is heavy and left side quite light. It looked good when eventually got it together but not really much book shelves space. Happy just hope grandaughter approves.

Must-have for any desk ~If I could give more than five stars, I would—I bought this because my desk isn’t very large, and I wanted some extra shelf space for my books. I will say, I did calculate the measurements wrong and over-estimated how big I thought this was going to be, but with how great it looks, I’m not particularly bothered.
My only criticism is that the instructions aren’t the clearest, so I had to make a few adjustments after going wrong, but other than that, it was a fairly straightforward build. It’s very sturdy, and as you can see, it can hold a decent weight (those books aren’t light at all), so I’m very pleased with the result. Highly recommend if anyone needs the encouragement to buy one.Posted on

Heavy and sturdyWhen I received this item I was shocked as it is quite heavy, and the result is very satisfying. It is a very sturdy shelves on a desk. Finishing is good and the study room looks very tidy now. Assembly is easy for a lady. Matches very well with my ikea table.
