You do have to buy a seperate padlock but this box has saved me so much stress when you live in a big family nothing is yours i would spend most of my time looking for stuff i put safe but some child found with so many kids everyone Denys they took it hence my stress so i bought this box inside is my hair brush , my hair bobbles, my pens, my tweezers, my expensive shampoo and conditioner, my tonic water, my hair oil , phone charger, headphones yep these are the things i need daily and these are the things the kids take and are never to be found again infact i put everything thats mine and that i need to ensure a stress free life. Trust me its no fun spending time looking for things constantly on a daily basis this box solves the problem, great size and you can use as a seat . When you have more than 1 child they all blame each other for the missing items this box solves it
