The instructions relate to an earlier version of the product and show several parts needing to be added when, in fact, they are part of the revised framework. The diagram lacks clarity, but after some head scratching the reindeer were finally assembled and work fine. There are only 8 ground stakes - not 10 as in the ad - but one for each leg is adequate. Not mentioned is that about 10% of the lights flash which cannot be changed.
Two warnings. The leads joining the two reindeer, when connected, is only one metre long which limits how they can be arranged. The plug/socket joining arrangement allows for a short extension lead to be purchased and inserted so that they can be spaced more naturally and further apart.
The power supply lead to the plug is 5m long but, again, an extension lead can be inserted to give greater flexibility in placement.
