I opted for this as the solo stove bonfire was out of my price range and i'm glad I did. It performed so well, almost smokeless once going and the Solo bonfire additionals fit nicely (not perfectly) I added a hub and grill without any problem. I'll be buying the Wok next!

Just as good as a solo stove but a lot cheaper. It works in exactly the same way. Using kiln dried logs its smokless and is a great gathering point at bbqs . I also purchased a solo stove bonfire deflector top which fits this model and deflects the heat down towards your feet .

Q: Can you use Wood Pellets in this model without any additional pellet tray need?

A: Wood pellets are too small as fuel and are not recommended. It's best to use regular wood instead.

Q: Can this stove be used on grass or a wood deck, or does the bottom get hot and burn the ground?

A: The bottom will also be in a hot condition. It is not really recommended to use it on the lawn. For wooden floors, an insulating pad is fine.
