It is of good quality and stronger than expected. The length just fits my kitchen preparation station. It helps to keep the Kitchen neat. The stainless steel shelf is easier to clean than other materials. Will strongly recommend buying it if you hope your kitchen keeps neat.

Q: I will put the shelf on the food counter. But the base of shelf is L shape, how can I fix it on the table? If i assemble the shelf without the base, is it safe?

A: It is best to match the 48 inch length of the table top.L shape can be removed. It's definitely stable when placed flat, but if there is a drag or bump into it, it's easier to fall over, because this table is narrow, so it's not very recommended to remove it and put it in place.
