decided on this chair has im a well built fella and needed something wide strong and comfortable.
had alot of chairs over the years even had a barbers chair an this is the only one that is wide tall an nice to sit in for long periods of time. i have a bad back n neck ache so i can say this is the best chair so far ive had i will say on the rocker tilt is brilliant but wish it had a lock to stay in place is my only gripe very pleased.

Needed a chair for my father who is very fussy and he loves his chair! It’s comfortable and sturdy and wasn’t too tricky to put together.

As great as everyone has described. Comes in a very large box. Heavy quality steel and sturdy arms.. very very comfortable!!! Thank you to the person who advised to not tighten the bolts on the arms until the back is on!

Comfy chair, managed to put together on my own, the chair is heavy needs to be assembled in place.

This is a metal framed chair (unlike cheaper chairs which are often plastic) , and feels like it will last a long time. It is exceptionally comfortable and in my view worth the additional expense compared to a normal chair. The padding is very thick, and the back is perfect for my 6'2" height.
It's easy to build if you follow the instructions. It took me around 20 minutes.

Unfortunately mine didn't come with instructions, but it wasn't too difficult to put together. I did the seat, arms and back first then the lower part and simply slotted the top half onto the bottom and job done. Fair bit of trial and error due to no instructions but I got there in the end. I imagine this wouldn't be a problem for anyone who got the instructions.
Once put together and everything tightened to the max, it's very sturdy as you'd expect a chair that holds 500lbs to be.
Fully assembled I have no complaints, for the price it's great.

I was swayed by reviews of this chaiir, as my old chair was past it and well uncomfortable. I eventually got it together after a stay iin hospital. I managed to do it myself, don't bolt the arms tighthly untilm you've goit the back on. Looks well padded, but could do with more. Comfort 3.5/5. I like the roominess of the seat. At 5ft 4 I do feel I@m sitting up without back support when I'm using the compute. I put a sofa ushion behind my back . Is comfortable to lean back against the back. Ideally the back of the chair would be adjustable so I can sit more upritght or recline it and still have back support. I wonder if it would've been better to shell out on a more expensive chair or would that have maaaaaaade scant difference!!

This is an early impression as I just assembled it 30 minutes ago, but all indications are is that it is very comfortable and sturdy, I have no reason to think I will change my mind.
Now, it would be safe to say that I am NOT a DIY person, I can't stand putting things together, and I was not relishing tackling this. The instructions are super clear and even I couldn't mess up. But! Just one tip for anyone putting this together, when you put the back of the seat on, leave the screws holding the arm rests in as loose as possible, hanging off almost, otherwise you will not be able to squeeze the back into place without a) tearing the fabric, or b) throwing the whole thing through the nearest window.
So in conclusion, this is a fab chair, value for money and solid as a rock. Just watch the back as you put it on.

Very happy with the chair. It's solid and will definitely hold a heavy person sitting on it. It's comfortable enough to sit on all day which is obviously a minimum requirement for any serious office chair. Had it for a month or so now so the only thing I can't comment on is how long it will last but it still feels very solid.
Assembly time seems a little higher than the other estimates in the reviews. A lot of parts and a lot of packaging to clean up afterwards. I'd say 45 mins taking the time to be careful and clean up everything.
During the assembly the final step seemed like it wouldn't work - getting the backrest lined up with one of the armrests. The holes weren't lined up but it pulled in to line with a bit of force. Otherwise assembly pretty easy. Might be difficult for a smaller person to do alone as this chair is heavy but then I suspect most buyers will be a bigger than average person.

My son bought a chair a few months back which was double the price of this chair.... Needless to say, I took the plunge.... and all I can say is WOW..... The size is great, the comfort is awesome,and my son put it together within 20 minutes without even needing to read the intructions, he said this is by far the easiest chair he has had to put together and now regrets not getting this one haha. One up to Mum :) Highly recommend this chair.

TLDR : If you are on the heavy side and need a chair that can handle the punishment this seems like it's the one for you.
So...long story but might be useful to someone. 4 years ago I bought a "TPFLiving Heavy Duty XXL Office Chair Denver Capacity: 210 kg" for £129. Rated to 210kg (~462lbs). Great chair, assembly was a bugger trying to line everything up with just one pair of hands but managed. Recently the right arm cracked and the chair could no longer support any weight against the backrest, seems it was cast aluminium. To be clear at my heaviest I was 180kg (396lbs) and when it cracked I was closer to 300lbs. It did last 4 years but gave out at much less than the rated weight.
So, I set about finding a stronger, sturdier chair and settled on the 500lb version of this one giving me a whopping 200lbs of leeway between my weight and it's maximum.
On to the review...
It weighs a hell of a lot, it says 25kg on the box but I doubt that as no one in my office could lift the box except me and I am a powerlifter so I know what 25kg feels like. The chair is pretty easy to assemble, all screws are labelled on the back of the pack they come in with perforated access, it comes with an allen key which is all you need to assemble it. All holes lined up nicely and if you get the arms the right way around (they are labelled) they have recesses that can slot into the holes on the back rests making it easy to keep it in place whilst you insert the bolts. I assembled the whole thing whilst sat on my on another chair.
Quality/rigidity
It is very obvious this chair is going to last and stand up to some weighty punishment (which is why you buy this in the first place). Seems like all the important parts are made out of steel, even the arm rests that gave way on my other chair are heavy steel. Only plastic parts really were the wheels, they look solid but I do wonder about them. Fortunately they are standard office chair wheels, I have spare ceramics wheels with brakes if they go but I think they will be fine.
Comfort.
It is a very LARGE chair. I thought my last chair was big but this is bigger still, much wider. It literally is like an arm chair on wheels. It is heavily padded on the front and the back, the back feels very comfortable but that might depend on your back needs.
One thing to note is that even at minimum setting the tilt spring feels like it's going to catapult me out of the window but I seem to remember my last chair was exactly the same and it loosens up and becomes easier to lean back in a few weeks.
