Lovely fire guard , very sturdy bought two but one was damaged so sent it back Amazon kindly sorted it for me. Definitely recommend.

This fire guard is sturdy and fits nicely into our fireplace opening. Purchased to protect our grandchildren from a wood burning stove. It is strong looks great and not too light which is essential in ensuring that it is not moved by small children accidently. Would certainly recommend it.

Like: Stands up without needing fixings; adjusts wing angles to fit range of openings; can leave a few items hanging on it to dry overnight; looks tidy.

Bought this as we were having a new kitten and wanted to keep him safe. It’s strong and sturdy and it looks really lovely in front of my log burner.

This is perfect to stop ash falling from hearth and looks good and it is strong. Nothing not to like.

Delivered on time, packing was great, well made, heavy but not too heavy, stands and looks amazing. Bought for an early Christmas present so my son could light his fire knowing that his children were safe from sparks and fire. High recommend this, price and service excellent.

It was delivered quickly, basically packaged in a cardboard box and comes ready made up (no construction needed). It's just the right size to fit around my inset wood burner (see pics) to stop my cat from getting too close. It looks nice, either tucked square around the burner or opened out a little. It doesn't seem to get very hot (which I don't understand) so it can be moved without wearing gloves, but also doesn't seem to hinder the burner or block much heat from the room (although I think it blocks a little heat). It feels heavy enough to stay up, but light enough to move around easily. I bought it to prevent my cat touching the wood burner - she's been getting very, very close - and it's perfect for that. I think if I had a bigger animal like a dog I would use some kind of hook or something to attach it more securely, but for my needs it's great, much better than expected! I think it probably wouldn't be quite right as a child proof fire screen, even hooked on, as it's open at the top and a little hand could reach through or over.
