Built to lastThis umbrella base is just what we needed for our patio umbrella. It is heavy and keeps the umbrella stationary. We didn’t have one before and the umbrella would swerve to one side all the time so it is definitely necessary even if the table is holding up the umbrella. The design is pretty and it is sturdy. It is good quality so far and is decently prized so you do get what you paid for. It’s not too big in size like the other umbrella base that I’ve seen but does its job just fine.

Second one purchasedI liked the first one I bought so much I bought another. Will need to have a table as well to support an umbrella. I found that the wind catches mine even when down. Base could be heavier.

So far, so goodNice looking, heavy, easy to assemble. Only issue was packaging. Thought the washer wasn't included, but it had fallen out of plastic baggie and stuck in crevice of styrofoam. Only put up Memorial Day weekend.....will see how it does during Florida's stormy season.

Good Value Garden Umberella StandThis product is a little plain compared to some of the fancier ones, but much the same weight, so functionality is every bit as good. It's all about weight. This stand keeps a 9' umbrella (I have two) open and stable, in all but heavy winds. 20 kts and more. I have one umbrella in a round table, with a similar stand at the bottom. That arrangement is rock solid. You might buy heavier and prettier but it will cost you considerably more. I'm a happy customer and I'll probably buy one more.

Excellent. I have lost 2 glass topped tables due ...Excellent. I have lost 2 glass topped tables due to the umbrella falling over. This base is a good heavy weight, solid, and a nice long neck. So far through a couple of heavy storms the umbrella has stayed in place. It does what it is supposed to do. Very good.

Love the itemLove the item, nice looking base and perfect weight. We have a windy backyard due to open field. The only issue is the little "feet" on the bottom scratched my deck. I'll be adding some felt or something to the bottom to help me move the base easier.
