Disappointing, very loud, and poor quality heat exhaust kit.First off, it is WAY louder than I was expecting. It takes up all 65dB of advertised noise with wide band sounds from fans, compressor and turbulence, it's quite imposing, you really have to raise you voice to have a chat.;Second, the plastic hose for heat venting has absolutely not kind of heat resistance and it literally radiates heat into the room on the way to window so that the unit is permanently sitting in a hot corner of the room. Bizarre choice of materials, I've improvised some insulation and it's cooling better now.;The window mount is really cheap and leave big gaps, expect to use lots of tape or else to have to buy one of the other window kits on this site.;Overall, not very nice to have in the lounge and definitely too loud to sleep with in the same room and doesn't cool well out of the box because you need a better window kit and some insulation for the hose. For over £300 I'm really disappointed.

Cool compact air conditionerMan this is really great for when the uk gets really hot it’s not to loud but I’m mostly use to having two fans on and it doesn’t bother me it’s fairly compact the size is enough where I can move it around it’s really cold which is good the remote app is good can tell Siri to turn it off on different commands for different action the setup was easy took me like 4 minutes and the build quality is sturdy

Keeping me coooooolI used the air conditioning function all last year when needed and it did not take long to bring a comfortable chill to the room. I now have it out again after moving home in the meantime and it has over-wintered and travelled well.;I cannot however report anything about its heating capabilities as i was bought up that heat costs money, if i am cold i just put on more clothing.;It is of course not silent, but no overpowering noise that cant be overcome by turning the tv volume up a notch or two.;There is the ever present problem of what to do with the cumbersome exhaust hose, but that is a generic problem that comes with the use of these machines. In my old home i got so tired of trying to get an airtight seal that kept the flying bloodsuckers out of the house i eventually cut a hole in the ceiling and vented it into the loft!;Hopefully i will not need to be replacing it any time soon, but i would go for this again and consider it money well spent.;Oh and i must not forget i save on batteries for the remote by just telling Alexa to turn it on and off :)

'Budget' water free aircon.You'll be lucky if this gets to you overnight, dont be surprised when it's late. The item will need to be stood to let the gas settle, akin to a freezer. The unit itself is probably about as noisey as a desk fan on full , maybe a smidge more. Works well and is easy to move and install (its on casters). The build quality seems good, everything looks placed together well. If I was to be picky I'd say a choice of colours would be nice. It's one of the cheapest of this type you can easily pay 2 to 3 times more than this. The cheaper ones put water into your environment to cool it down, not always a good thing. Reliability I guess we'll have to see. I got this on sale for £180, its currently £215 not really budget but as some go for £600+.

Cool roomWhen it eventually arrived the unit is perfect, fits perfectly on the fireplace with the hose up the chimney, easy to work and great with the remote control, they just need to use a better courier company should have been here on the 21st and arrived on the 23rd

Cheap unit but be aware of consSo unit works and all, that’s what you need. Paid 200£ so can’t complain much but be aware of these cons:
- heating is moderate at best, kicks in after few minutes of blowing which is bit annoying because until then it’s blowing cold air at you
- you can’t set temperature to say 21 and the device will manage heal/cold to keep it stable. You have to decide what you want, heating cooling dehumidifying
. One function at a time. Which is a biggest bummer.
- Cooling kicks in after few mins too , I don’t know why that is but you have to wait and have it blow until it finally works
- I thought these models connect to mobile but this one don’t.
- wouldn’t worry about noise, it’s not THAT bad as people picture imo.

Good value air con just noisyThis air con is good for the price, sadly it was incredibly noisy for what I needed it for. I needed it for a baby's room and on the lowest setting it was hitting 68db. However, the seller was brilliant and organised the return. It would be brilliant for anywhere someone isn't sleeping I think. But I don't think anyone could sleep with the noise it makes
