The best thing I’ve bought in years!Honestly this is the best purchase I’ve had in a long time, keeps the room icy cold when needed. It is a bit bulky and you have to have the tube poking out of the window but personally I still think it’s worth the money.

Cool on a warm dayThis was one of the best purchases I made this year.
I’ve never needed to put the fan in high, low does a good enough job.
When I’m the right position in the house it keeps both my home office and the bedroom next to it cool enough on days when outside is high 20’s or low 30’s.
When positioned in just my home office, it makes the room an ice box!
As with all portable AC units you need to have an exhaust vent, but you get the parts in the box, so it’s no hassle.
On the down side it is pretty noisy. When on “teams” calls it needs turning off or noise cancelling headphones are needed.Posted on

Noisy but greatBeing peri menopausal I didn’t want to do another summer without an air con unit. Our house is a “new build” and holds heat very well. Too well! It was becoming unbearable.
This unit is able to cool down a room very quickly. It is extremely loud though and you wouldn’t be able to sleep with it on. We are unable to watch tv or have a conversation when it is cooling a room.
The dehumidifier setting also works very well. I suffer from asthma and it is triggered by humidity. When I have run the unit I have no symptoms & the bowl is always full of water. So it definitely works.

It's worth the money!Purchased this about 3 weeks ago and have been using it. It's not very hot yet, but the new A/C unit is working well under light loads and we predict it should be fine when the temperature reaches triple digits.

Ice cold and it’s really not that noisyIf your thinking about getting this air conditioner unit then do it, I read reviews each year and was put off by negative comments, but it’s honestly great and only slightly Lauder than a fan which is expected.

VERY PLEASED BUT Went down in price the day after I bought it.I have been considering an Air con unit for some time and have looked through many reviews etc and finally decided on this one considering 4.5 stars. I am not disappointed, very well built, very good cool output which I have do doubt will cool the large double bedroom indended for use even on the low fan setting. Ideal for the potential heat wave we could get this year considering last year and on initial use would recommend. THE ONE DISSAPPOINTMENT is the day after I bought this it has gone down in price from £259.00 as there was an amazon £20 voucher option to now £236.95 before it had even arrived!. There appears to be no amazon customer service options to discuss this or request a refund in difference if possible. I would hate to consider a refund only to purchase again at the new price!! If the seller or amazon read this review I would appreciate consideration for the difference refunded either in vouchers or cash.

Give me chillsA good portable air conditioner. Runs well, but could be cheaper
It has most of the things you need, including a tube to go out the window. The remote control is a bit boring and it's very basic in size compared to some others in its price range. This is the 9000BTU version and personally I would never recommend anyone buying anything smaller than this size unless it is a very small room.

Cooling power is excellentThe best think about it is that it cools down the room in no time due to its power, that a big yes but can’t sleep with it on as it’s noisy, so best put it on cool the room and then turn off when I go to bed, that more than enough to get ne sleeping through out the night in a chilled room.

If fitted right not used though the window it works really well.It’s great at cooling down you room if you have it vented right. I didn't find that using the window kit worked very well. But after I had it core drilled through the wall but a builder. It worked so well and I have never been happier with how well it cools and keeps my room at the right temperature.

Excellent!It worked well and helped a lot in the heatwave. Would buy another one. The only thing to consider is that it does take longer to cool the room after having previously installed air conditioning and you need to make sure the doors stay closed. Also, I think it is quite noisy in sleep mode, which is fine for our use but may be too loud for others.

NiceI bought this unit as my bedroom is in a loft conversion. It works very well. A little noisy from the fan but that’s not an issue for me. The exhaust air hose could do with being a little longer but apart from that it’s great and I have no complaints. It’s quite heavy so you may need a hand to carry it upstairs.

Gets cold 9000btc versionThe unit was well packaged, very easy to use, not tried it out at 40degs yet but the 9000btc unit after 5mins was kicking out some very chilled air. Wouldn't say it would chill a room 27 x 13 ft but a standard double bedroom, after an hour I believe it would be much cooler. Took a chance on this unit but seems well made and will chill my sons bedroom this summer. P.S I will be buying a 2nd also. Oh as for noise, not bad at all no noise than a fan on medium to high.
